This book was so awesome, I already liked Oskar from Irresponsible Puckboy, seeing what he thought was right to help his friend.

Oskar is truly shameless but there is so much to this character and Lane brings it all out. They have an intense connection, I love the fact that there is a real balance in their relationship. Lane can channel Oskar, he tries to understand him and his stunts. Meanwhile, Oskar brings out another side of Lane who learns to let it go or just express his desires differently.
Seeing how Oskar suffers so much and doesn’t let anyone the possibility to see it not even his friends, it was so sad - however, Lane wasn’t impressed by his walls and was stubborn enough to discover what’s underneath.
I liked the idea of Lane babysitting Oskar, it was funny to see what he will do to prevent him to be in any more scandals - before he jeopardised his all career. And it was also funny to see what Oskar thought and tried to do to get rid of him.

I definitively love the Queer Collective and as it expends, I’m so curious about Ayri and Aleks. This series is just brilliant, hockey romances are the best 😍

Oskar Voyjik is the really bad boy of San Jose Ice Hockey Team, their star player, and highest earner of sponsorship revenue for the Team owners. Shame that his sluttish ways in public is putting his place on the team in serious jeopardy. His latest behaviour was caught on camera in an alleyway and has gone viral.

Lane Pierce is the PR Team Manager for San Jose, he has placed various PR staff to shadow Oskar after every game trying to keep him out of trouble, to no avail, hence this latest video. Lane has no choice but to take over this babysitting role himself.

Oskar is not a happy man with this arrangement and fights Lane at every opportunity. He knows he always gets his way, his pretty boy looks gets him everything.

But he’s not prepared for how far Lane Pierce will go to save Oskar Voyjik from self destruction. Even if it means the possible end of Lane’s career as a PR Manager. Lane can see right through Oskar and the reason for his shenanigans.

>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>
I’ve had “Shameless Puckboy” in my Library since it was launched but I’d read so many Ice Hockey books recently I let it sit on the shelf. So at last I gave in yesterday and started it.

I loved these two MC’s especially Lane, he always gave too much of himself in his past relationships and tried so hard not to do the same with Oskar, but Oskar is surely one force to be reckoned with here.

Yep, glad I picked it off the TBR shelf, a great storyline, different in so far as it’s not two angsty hockey players, trying to hate each other, and loosing.

We were introduced to Oskar in Book 2 of Puckboys. He appeared in the middle of Tripp and Dex's story and I have to confess that I could have punched him 🤭😆. Badly 😜

He was so full of himself, superficial, opinionated and stubborn. But even so, I was curious to understand why he behaved this way. Those initial days, even Ezra was weird, to be fair.

But here, we understand Oskar and his inability to act seriously and even his superficial self-destructive behavior. It's all an act to cover a deep feeling of self-loathing.

Obviously, the reason for this character traits sounds somewhat superficial and difficult to accept, but we should never underestimate the impact that some occurrences can have on another person's life.

Lane is the San Jose’s PR manager and a seriously sensitive soul. His ability to read psychological traits and nuances is truly hands down wonderful. From there comes what makes him the perfect other half for Oskar. He becomes the only one truly capable not only of reading beyond the futile and superficially irresponsible exterior of our newest Puckboy, but also of anticipating attitudes and understanding trends and actions.

It’s a nice book. Still not as sweet and perfect as Tripp and Dex’s, but nice all the same.

Would definitely recommend this story to all.

Shameless Puckboy - Puckboys Book 3 by Eden Finley and Saxon James

As usual Eden and Saxon have given us another well written book filled with clever banter, a plot line, steamy scenes and chemistry off the charts.

Poor Lane, he has his dream job as Head of PR with the San Jose NHL team but his career is on the line thanks to the bad boy on the team Oskar Voyjik who has a penchant for public “displays” and has run rings around every member of Lane’s team that has been assigned to watch him, so Lane steps in as Oscar’s babysitter.

We knew we were in for a lot of fun when Lane decides to take up residence in Oskar’s spare room and Oskar opens the door to him stark naked.

At first Oskar tries every trick in his arsenal to get a rise out of Lane and duck out on him but he underestimated Lane’s tenacity. He also underestimated just how much chemistry they generated and when Lane becomes the first person to actually see Oskar and understand why he puts on a performance that would outdo Ezra, his cold heart starts to defrost and Lane has to decide whether to put himself and his career first or Oskar who he is falling for more every day. These two are perfect for each other. Who knew the sensible Lane had a bit of a kink and that Oskar loved it. When these two fight for dominance all bets are off!🔥

It was such a treat to catch up with so many previous characters and The Collective are as funny as ever with Ezra still insisting on Macallan’s whiskey all round whenever a new gay player joins them. Ollie Strömberg was always a favourite of mine and I considered him a baby in the NHL so I can’t believe he has now retired!

I highly recommend this book and I can’t wait for the next NHL queer collective book.

This series will always have me entranced and Oskar and Lane didn't disappoint.
Oskar is truly one of the sassiest characters I have ever read. I loved how geniunely funny he was and how hard he made it for Lane not to crack, and yet he still took his job as a hockey player very seriously when he needed to. Also I loved how Lane was so commanding and brilliant at his job, and the underlining sass of this man really meshed well with Oskar.
You would think Oskar would have been the one in control of every situation in this book, but Lane played him like a fiddle, and I loved how well they got along from the moment they met. I thought they'd be like mean antagonistic, but they were definitely more playful. And I think Oskar really showed Lane that he could enjoy the fun aspects of life and not have to take everything so seriously all the time. They just really worked together in this book, especially when they both were ready to give up their jobs for one another. That just solidified their endgame status for me.
A shock for me was Oscar secretly being insecure about his looks being the only reason people care about him and that made me so sad for him. Lane really was there for him to show that his merit isn't based on what he looks like.
The amount cameos from Eden and Saxon's other books in this one really was the icing on the cake of a phenomenal novel. I can't wait for book four and to see the shenans this Collective get up to.

This entire series is one I’ve truly been enjoying. Each and every couple is fun and the hockey world Eden and Saxon have created is interesting. Eden and Saxon write fun, zero/low angst books which I enjoy escaping to. In Shameless Puckboy Oskar and Lane continue this run. Oskar is a man desperate for attention and seems to truly believe that any attention - good or bad - is worth the trouble he creates to get it and goes out of his way to fulfil this need. Lane is the harried PR manager who continually has to clean up his messes in the media. After one too many crazy antics, Lane becomes Oskar’s full-time babysitter to help clean up his image and moves into his house. Oskar is highly against the “invasion of privacy” and pushes back against it hard in the beginning. Of course forced proximity has both of them seeing each other in a different light than when they only saw each other at the arena. As Oskar’s layers are slowly peeled back, Lane gets more and more intrigued with the real man underneath the bravado. I wasn’t really sold on Oskar after book 2, I definitely had some issues with him and how he treated Dex but my mind was changed in this one. The cameos were fun and sprinkled in well, especially a scene at a certain hockey camp! I’m looking forward to the next installment and wondering who he’ll be paired up with. I voluntarily reviewed a complimentary copy of this book.

This incredible, wonderful book! You will be laughing, swooning and so happy all in one. This book just made me feel good while reading it. I love Oskar and Lane so much. Total opposites, so made for each other.

The minute Oskar walked into Lane’s office and said his name the way he did, I knew he was going to be a handfull, this book is sooooo very H-O-T and I am here for it all!! I could not put this book down.

How is it these two, Eden & Saxon, one sentence have you laughing hysterically and the next sentence, pulling at your heartstrings. I love their writing. I love love love their characters. I love how you fall hard for them. How you really care for them and when a character comes back from another book, you jump for joy. This epilogue is one of my all time favorites. I love this series so much. I love these writers, absolutely perfect.

The dynamic duo of Eden Finley and Saxon James have done it again!
Shameless Puckboys had me in tears from laughing from page one.

I adored Oskar! From a pr stand point he's a nightmare to deal with. Oskar is known for his over the top antics that get him trouble more often then not. Enter Lane. He's the team PR manager and Oskar's new live in babysitter. What could possibly go wrong there?

Oskar tries his hardest to make Lane give up and walk away. He uses humor to mask his insecurities but that makes him all the more loveable. I wasn't sure if I'd like Lane at first but I changed my mind quickly. He tried so hard to be professional with Oskar but once he seen the real him it was impossible. Oskar just needed someone in his life to stand beside him and Lane did that. Lane always put Oskar before himself and showed him what it was like to be loved and valued. These two really made me swoon. They are just so sweet together.

There was so many cameos in this book from all of our favorite Eden/Saxon characters and I loved it! The Queer collective may be my favorite thing ever. I adore all of those guys. Seeing Lane and Oskar interact with them was so fun. I think we meet the next Puckboy to be featured and I can't wait!!!

Egotistical Puckboy foi perfeito. Irresponsible Puckboy não me conquistou.
