I suoi libri sono meravigliosi, infondono calma e ottimismo. Questo pure. Mi è piaciuto molto perché entra un po' più nella sua storia e vita personale (molto difficile per una giapponese "rivelarsi" così) tuttavia i suoi consigli che corripondono allo stile di vita che sogno da anni difficilmente sono adattabili al nostro stile di vita occidentale. I love all the helpful tips this book has to offer. Like many of her other books, I enjoyed reading every page. It features lots of beautiful photography and seems to get your mind set in the right direction for making decisions on your personal items. If you are thinking about organizing your home, this book will certainly lead you in the right direction.

As a long-time fan of Marie Kondo, I wasn't sure how much more she could share. After all, there are the books, the TV shows, and so on.

Well, apparently there's more, and much of this book is about her personal sense of style and her own process of staying organized.

I was astonished to read the additional traditions she includes in her daily routines. They're nice, simple, and add just a little more depth to creating a welcoming, comfortable home.

For me, this book is that extra little nudge to keep improving our home, and not only organize but also maintain the home more thoughtfully and intentionally.

I really like her book! I enjoy her pictures and everything she wrote in this book. However I feel like you still need to read her first book in order for this book to make sense. There is plenty of things I learned in this book. And it just tied all of her books together. For me after her first book I tried tidying and it didn't always make a lot of sense but now I feel confident I can finally get my house in order.

The Book is Presented in Curated Kondo Style. If you measure the value of a book by how many pages and pictures it has, you will miss the point and be disappointed. If you measure its value instead on the impact a book can have on the quality of your life, this book is valuable indeed.

There is a meditative quality to how the book unfolds before you. If you read the book properly, you will be reminded to treasure and honor your activities - not just your possessions - that matter most to you. Many of these involve safeguarding self-care, or privileging family rituals that reduce stress and enhance relationships.

After getting about halfway through the book, I put it away and prepared myself the first sit-down meal I've had in months, because of a huge work project. Maybe sometimes working frantically, to the point of only eating on the run or grazing, might sometimes be necessary, but when the work crush ends, it's hard to remember that there is another way to live. I really needed this reminder.

A few pages in my fiance was already inspired and started cleaning the house. A great companion to her other books, this one focuses on designing your home to fit you. She made many good points I hadn't thought of and I'm excited to put this book into practice and reclaim my space as something special to me and my family. We have been going over the book together which opened discussion about how we wanted to spend our time at home, what wasn't working with our current setup, and what we could do to improve it and design the space for us. The book is both aesthetically beautiful and genuinely helpful and thought provoking. I recommend it to anyone wishing to improve their use of space or time at home.
