Second book I’ve read from Rosa Lucas : it’s well written, the story has many developments, and I couldn’t stop reading! I started with book n°2 Resisting Mr Kane, and could not wait to start book 1. Both are excellent, a little bit crazy, but that’s the fun. They are also full of surprises, all the characters are well constructed and there is a real story, with depth. Hope that Jake’s story will come out very soon.
Do not hesitate : Rosa Lucas knows how to write an excellent rom-com. Thank you for the good and sexy times.

Une histoire romantique très bien écrite mais tellement pleine d’humour!
J’ai adoré ce livre, Danny et Charlie sont des caractères qui restent dans la tête même lorsque le livre est finit. C’est le second livre de Rose Lucas que je lis et elle certainement pas le dernier.👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼

Honestly, I don't know what to think about this book !!
The blurb sounded really good, I like the fact that their love was to be a big secret !!
But omg, the dramas, the jealousy, it killed everything to me, if I take that off, the book was really good, but too much jealousy and dramas, it was way too much for me, I got so bored of it, I skipped a few pages, just to be able to finish my reading !! I had planned to read Mr Kane after that, I'm not sure about it anymore

Danny and Charlie's book is my favorite out of this trilogy.
Danny Walker, Scottish, serious, gorgeous CEO who changes girlfriends bi-monthly has loved his best friend's sister, 13 years younger, for the last 10 years but because of her brother she is 100% off limits. Danny is very loyal to Tristan.
Charlie has worked hard to get where she is career-wise and all on her own. She has refused all handouts from her older, multimillionaire brother, Tristan. She knows Danny hates her or does he? He is so indifferent around her when they are both at Tristan's house. Mandatory get togethers are painful to her.
Their road to a HEA is very long and bumpy with lots of miscommunication and heartache. I got really choked up at one revelation. I wanted them together and happy but so much was stopping their happiness.
These are my first books by this author. I love her writing style. Her books are full of emotion, smiles,
Laughs , heartbreak and a ton of passion and heat. Lots and lots of heat and steam. I loved this trilogy.

I read it in less than 24 hours!! Had me gripped from the first chapter 🙈😍 what an amazing author can’t wait to read the rest of the series

The start of a wonderful 3 series book by the author is all about 3 friends, their comradery, their love life, and a bit of family drama thrown in between to add “masala” to the story. Simply loved reading all three.

This 1st book in the series is the love story of Danny Walker & Charlotte Kane aka Charlie (sister of Tristan Kane, who has his own story in Book # 2). A 20-year age gap doesn’t stop them from falling in love, bringing two families together – Kane & Walker. Olivia always had feelings for Danny as a young girl, as a 20 yr old & finally it takes a shape when she reaches 26 yrs. Danny is portrayed as a broody, dominating & superbly handsome Tech Billionaire. Olivia is a beautiful, witty, bold, IT professional. Their path cross when Danny buys the IT company where Charlie is working. Loved the storyline, character development & timeline. The talk between the two characters has you smiling & laughing many times – witty banter.

It is part of KUL & a definite download & read book. Read it in sequence as Danny, Tristan & Jack's presence is felt in each of their stories. Also, you get a peek into their post-hook-up life which is really sweet. The other book in the series is –

Danny, 40, is the founder and CEO of a large Software company, HEA but if a reputation as a ladies man. Tall and Handsome with his Scottish accent. Childhood had been extremely traumatic for him and his brother Kerr who also works with him.

Tristan 41, is Danny’s best friend since College, and Danny was taken under Tristan’s family wing. Tristan has been the man of the family since his father left them. He is over protective of his Mum and two sisters, Charlotte 28, and Callie late teens.

Charlotte (Charlie) has had a crush on Danny since she was a teenager. However, in her late teens, when she was a bit drunk, she threw herself on him and he backed away. She was devastated over the rejection and has tried to avoid him ever since.

Charlotte works as an IT Support in a software company. It’s going to be taken over by a larger company. There will be redundancies and changes in roles and the staff are worried.

Shock and horror as Charlotte finds out it is Nexus who is taken them over and the Boss is Danny.

I liked the two MC’s Charlotte and Danny, there was a bit of push and pull a few times in their story, mostly due to Charlotte insecurities.
