Well… what can I say… disappointing SPOILERS CONTAINED.

This book and the first one could have easily been reduced and put into one book. The constant repetitive conversations between the “Heroine” and “Hero” or the “heroine” and other characters… it was tiresome and just felt like It was put into the story to fill gaps to make two books.
The “heroine” was whiney, one minded and was just plain annoying and dare I say SEXIST?
The hero was one minded also, and was missing a lot to actually be a “DON”.
The heroine was very up and down “I hate him” and the next page she was sleeping with him… honestly a rollercoaster but not in the good way! I don’t understand how they actually ended up being together in the end.
I’ve read previous books from this author and enjoyed them but this series was just plain awful. It made no sense what so ever.

So book 1... amazing, loved it, not as dark as the books I would usually read, but full of angst and action! The pull and for from both MAIN characters was good... But I do feel the wedding scene could of been a little more, dramatic, more action, more something but am in all I enjoyed it

The second book I nearly didn't read after reading some of the reviews. I will say, I am glad I did take the plunge, but do agree with so!e of the 'lesser' reviews. At times the pull and throw was repetitive. I guessed the last twist in book 1 but was wrong about Eric and Andrew....

I loved watching isaak soften towards his child but I finish his declaration of love was more...

I recommend, it's an easy read with enough action and drama to keep me interested.

Off to read more from Nicole... Ripped Vil

This is book 2 of 2 so you have to read book one to understand the storyline & characters.
I’m not going to lie I kinda hated Isaak for most of this book when he just kept saying things to hurt Cami and hiding behind his bratva upbringing and what he was supposed to be like in showing no weakness.
We all knew he loved her but just kept being stupid in how he treated her, Jo really made him think of what he was like as a man and father though and there was no doubt he loves Jo.
I loved Bogie 🤣 such a good character and he should have his own book if he doesn’t already but that ending and revelation from Nikita was unexpected.
I liked the ending to where Isaak shows how much he has changed with his thoughts on Peter & Sam that alone showed how much he had grown and changed for the better.
I have really enjoyed this duet and will look at more books by this author.

So many frustrations with this second part. Isaac kidnaps his daughter keeping her hidden despite the fact he knows how desperate cami is to be with jo.
When she discovers that jo is being hidden, there's one part I thought finally cami has a backbone, but no she bonks Isaac yet again. She should have fought harder.
Definitely entertaining and worth a look with good characters and dialogue. Simply storyline but very repetitive.

Yet another brilliant book I've read from the pen of Nicole Fox. This one was totally top notch. It's the story of Isaak and Camille. Isaak is one gorgeous, sexy, brooding bad man, and Camilla a sweet and naive young woman that has a long way to go to understand the great Don Isaak. This has been brilliantly written with a gorgeous saga of love and understanding, trust, lust, secrets and twists and turns that you really don't see coming. I have thoroughly enjoyed this duet and absolutely love her style of writing mafia. Can't recommend this duet enough I loved it

Sparks are still flying between Camila and Isaak, tension- indecision and frustration. Neither will back down or bend to the other's will. Maxim continues to be a thorn in their side - undermining their relationship and casting doubts between them. Will he succeed or will they overcome. ??
So much action - so much going on in the background !!!! - I just had to keep reading W O W !!!!

Decent read but not a 5 star read. This story should have been covered in 1 book, imo. There was a lot of repeated and unnecessary dialogue, particularly in the second book. But, I did finish the duet, so not that bad.

I've read many books over the past few days but this one really captured my attention, from the first book right to the last sentence it had me gripped. The only thing I would say was abit dulling was the argument reasons sometimes the main characters thought it was too repetitive. How ever the twist at the end normally I see those things coming but no that was a shock.
I would recommend this to anyone who like Russian mafia, drama, violence and thrilling sex scenes (very steamy and descriptive). Definitely an author I want to make more publications 💯

This is the second boom in the series and wow it was brilliant. Camila is back with Isaak but nit through choice after he found her the day She was due to marry his cousin. Maxim is after blood and his rightfull place as head of the mafia but nothing comes easy for either of them. Highly recommend this book the twists are fabulous and well worth reading.

Loved the story of this family. It had me gripped from page 1. Well written.
I love how the story unfolds and keeps pulling you in to keep on reading. The characters are intriguing and you instantly become attached to all of them. It really grips your heart a definite read for a little escapism.
