Quand il s'agit de créer un anti-héros à la fois tourmenté et invincible et de revisiter les contes de fées ou les légendes, Amelia Wilde maîtrise à la perfection ! "Fallen Rose" est la parfaite conclusion de cette incroyable trilogie. Un poignant récit d'une beauté brute qui vous happera dès les premières pages pour ne plus vous lâcher, qui fera palpiter votre cœur et qui vous ébranlera tous les sens pour votre plus grand plaisir. Si vous cherchez une version beaucoup plus dark et électrisante du fameux conte de la Belle et la Bête, alors l'histoire de Leo & Haley est exactement ce qu'il vous faut !

WHAT AN EPIC FINALE!! Amelia has saved her most intoxicating, beguiling, and spellbinding book in this trilogy for last- the perfect conclusion to this erotic, sensual, and deliciously dark beauty and the beast masterpiece. I was transfixed from the first word to the last, desperate for our star crossed lovers to find a way to conquer the evilest of Constantines, but even more desperate for our beauty and our beast to be free of their pain.

Like Haley, I’m a captive- completely owned by the intoxicating dark magnificence of Leo Morelli. HE IS EVERYTHING. Hands down Amelia’s most compelling and nuanced hero to date. And, the Morelli beast is ironically the soonest Midnight Dynasty leaning man of all. Amelia has created such a profound and compelling character evolution for this long-suffering, tortured man. In this finale, we see the full spectrum of what makes Leo Morelli- from the savage, ruthless, carnal urges of his repressed beastly nature to the altruistic, unconditional, pure love he oozes as he selflessly sacrifices for his family and Haley. But we see the entirety of the man in this conclusion, and he is breathtaking. Whereas the fabled beast wore his beastly guise as the result of a curse, Leo has donned his beastly persona of choice. He’s created a weaponized visage that protects him from exposing his pain, his trauma, his heart. But now we see the most beautiful, soul shattering aspect of this man- his vulnerability. And while we still have our alpha, dominant, possessive Morelli king, we also have a wounded, gentle, devastating besotted hero. Amelia gives us both beast and prince- and THIS IS HOW YOU EVOLVE A CHARACTER! I was transfixed by every word. His past broke my heart, but his arrestingly beautiful way of loving Haley shattered it completely. The power of his heart was truly breathtaking, I felt his pain and devotion in my very soul. Our prior books helped us understand his dimension, but now Leo has to come to terms with all parts of himself. And it’s less about harnessing the beast, and more about accepting his goodness. He has to expose all of himself, and sweet and solid Haley loves him for every piece.

Haley is his perfect match- the light to his dark, the submissive to his need for control. I loved how unwavering she is- she knows what and who she wants, and she never falters. Despite the countless obstacles her family and the vicious matriarch Caroline Constanine throw her way. She’s so pure of heart, but she’s not naive. She doesn’t want to tame the beast- she wants to accept and love him, and she also wants to help him see that he’s more than that. And in doing so, we also see her blossom, as his partner, as his equal. We see her become more than the poor Constantine captive, the pawn. I appreciated that Amelia found ways to keep her soft- but she also is POWERFUL. Their chemistry is still combustible and scorching, but now with SO much emotional dimension, because they finally are emotionally bare to one another. Completely honest, exposed, and it only strengthens their connection.

While the story has certainly veered from its beauty and the beast beginnings, Amelia finds ways to keep nodding at the themes of the original, but with her own brilliant twist. Our climatic is her best and most impactful referential moment of the entire series- I literally could not breathe I was so consumed by emotion. And, like our second story, this book is more metaphysical in focus- about the emotional wrestling these characters are doing with themselves, so our story remains deliciously meta. You feel so intimately connected to them both. And the prose is beautifully rendered.

And just when I was lamenting that this engrossing story was turning its final page for good, Amelia gifts us with an epilogue that sets us up for a spin-off that has me SALIVATING. One that I can only hope gives me a chance to dance just a little while longer with the beauty and her beast. By far one of the best stories yet in the Midnight Dynasty world, and one of my favorite Amelia Wilde series ever.

The epic conclusion to this amazing trilogy was so good and it gave me all the feels, and I was so sad when I reached the last page.
I love this characters so much, and they are so close to my heart. I was so excited ro read this book that I managed to finish it in only a few hours, not wanting to put it down. And when I reached the end it was like a part of me was lost forever.

I said it, and I’m gonna say it again. Amelia Wilde is a queen and I absolutely adore her and her writing. I am such a huge fan of hers, and I’m gonna make sure that I read all of her work. She has such a unique way with words and always manages to deliver amazing, charismatic and one of a kind characters. One of these characters being Leo Morelli, who owns me completely: body and soul.

With the way the second book ended, I had so much anxiety and I was so afraid for what the third book was going to bring. I lOVED this book so much, it had everything I could ever asked for: so much angst combined with love, family and steamy moments.
I loved seeing the Morelli family coming together and being there for their brother when he needed them the most, the Morelli siblings have such a beautiful relationship, even though they are such a dysfunctional family.

Sometimes you read a character and you instantly wanna be their friend. For me, this character was Haley. My amazing and beautiful girl is exactly what Leo needed in his life. She is so strong, beautiful and kind. I loved seeing her become this powerful woman, who is not afraid to fight for the love of her life. I loved seeing her bringing Leo Morelli to his sense, how she with her beautiful and kind soul, her easy going personality, managed to warm the heart of the most feared Morelli.
She took all of his trauma and all of the skeletons from his closet, and gave him back only love and kindness. She is caring, understands what he is and doesn't want to change him. She loves him with all of his flaws and demons. She will go to war with anyone who wants to her her love.

I said it and I’m gonna say it again, Leo Morelli owns my heart. That men could tell me to jump, and all I would ask would be how high. He can be my beast everytime he wants.
He is the monster in the dark, the Beast of Bishop’s Landing, the big bad wolf, and everyone should think twice before going for his most prized “possession”.
He is an amazing character, who despise everything he went through, still finds in himself the power and strength to be good and kind, and help the ones who need it. He proved in this book, just like he proved in the other twos, that there is good in him. That he is capable of love.
He would do anything for his sisters and brothers, no questions asked, and he would do absolutely everything in his power to keep Haley safe and sound.

I loved every single moment between Leo and Haley, these two are so adorable together it is almost sickening. It is so easy for everyone around them to see that they are in love. In a sick and twisted way they remind me a little of Romeo and Juliet, two souls who despite everything, despite all the hatred that was between their families, they fall in love.
Their love is so strong and together they can survive everything,

This trilogy is everything, powerful and written like a dream, it is sexy, steamy and edgy, with the perfect amount of angst. I know for sure that I’m gonna re-read it soon because it is so good. And I am so excited to see what amazing books is Amelia going to write next.

This book kept me on heightened alert as the story continued. I experienced a range of emotions as I was anticipating what would happen next and was not disappointed and having read it multiple time still enjoy it. There are some heart wrenching moments that made me reflect and consider what people can need in challenging times and how easy it can be to pass judgment if it doesn't meet perceived expectations.
The characters are well developed, and I continued to care about Haley and Leo although grappled with some of his actions while convinced they stemmed from love.
I have now read others set in the Midnight Dynasty World and will read others, but know that I will be re-reading this again.

PHROAH what an ending to a trilogy!! Way too much happened into this third book that I found myself needing breaks to be like "Whaaattt!". And yes, I have purchased Hades & Persephone by Amelia after reading this book ;)

Fallen Rose picks up right where Hidden Beauty left off. Haley is gone. They have taken her. And worse? Her brother helped. Leo Morelli will stop at nothing to get Haley back, even if it means getting his older brother Lucian involved.

Haley meanwhile learns who the true monster of the Morelli & Constantine families are and it isn't a Morelli! As Caroline keeps trying to spread rumours into her mind, she knows her love for Leo is real & she doesn't let it go. When Leo finally rescues her, he isn't just rescuing her from the monster but from herself too as she truly learns in that moment who she is & what/who she wants.

Leo & Haley have a connection like no other. Everyone around them sees it, & I was so relieved that they finally decided to see it. It does take a while to them to fully let each other in, but when they do it is worth it & they become an unbreakable force. Until the monster strikes again.

I did get mad at Leo & how he reacted in pushing Haley away. He finally opens up himself, to only close it & push her straight back into the monsters arms. Thank goodness he has a great supportive family & Haley isn't quitter when it comes to someone she loves.

This trilogy ends nicely. I did find the third book did have a little too much back & forth though. As mentioned, I did have to put it down & step away a few time for a breather. But all in all, I adore Amelia's writing & enjoyed it.

4/5 stars with 4/5 steam.

This trilogy was so steamy and erotic like all of Amelia’s writing. I love the dynamic between Leo and Haley. I have two complaints. First, what’s with the rose statue? He was all antsy about Haley seeing it, which she didn’t, and then it was forgotten about. Second, the “magic pills” that miraculously cure his pain at the end? Reading reviews, I see that Hades had his own book before this, so maybe that issue (and even the rose?) is addressed then, but if this trilogy is meant as a standalone, it really needs to be explained. The rose felt like forced point to better align with Beauty and the Beast, and the pills felt like a huge crutch. Otherwise though, big fan as always.

I could not stop reading this trilogy. I read night and day until I was finished. This Amelia Wilde is amazing! So happy to have discovered her! I read daily. The story of Leo and Haley is filled full of everything I love. With HEA.

Fallen Rose is the third and final book of the Beauty and the Beast trilogy and it was everything I hoped it would be!! It was amazing and I didn't want it to end.

I was hooked from page one and was on the edge of my seat. Oh, the twists and turns!! I'm not sure who I felt the most for.....Haley for having such a horrible aunt or Leo for the constant pain he was in or not seeing that he truly is a good person underneath the beast(honestly, I love beast mode Leo just as much *swoon*). Both of these characters would do anything for their family, they prove that time and time again. Just as they would do anything for each other. I felt their pain, their fear, their happy and dang that Leo is so deliciously dirty *fans self*, he knows exactly what Haley needs.

There was just so much to love about Fallen Rose....especially the cameo appearances of two of my favorite BBFs!!! Gah!!! My heart!!! I cried pure, unadulterated tears of happiness at the end.
