Becker Gray did it again!

The forth installment from the “Hellfire Club” series is absolutely FIRE!
This book is so amazing, and so good written, I loved every second of it. Once I got my hands on it, there was no turning back. I had to read it in one sitting, not taking any breaks, practically I devoured the entire book without breathing.

I just couldn’t get enough of these characters, and I can honestly say that the Hellfire boys own my heart and soul.

Like the first three books from this series, this one was as good, if not even better. Becker Gray did again an amazing job while writing and creating this book. With every new book, Becker Gray manages to exceed all of my expectations and also makes me fall even more in love with these characters. I can’t get enough of this series. I keep wishing and hoping for more.
The characters are well build, the actions is not rushed and I really enjoyed the fact that I got to be there, at every moment with the characters. This story has everything: the perfect amount of angst, beautiful and loyal friendship, fluff, love and so much steamy moments. It is definitely a must read!

I have to admit that I was so skeptical about Phineas and so curious if he would be able to redeem himself, and if possible how he would do it. And I can honestly say that he did not disappoint.
After only a few chapters I have completely changed my mind about him, and I was rooting so hard for him and hoping that he would get the girl and finally get the love and happiness he deserves.
His character had such a good story and such an amazing character development, that in the end I was completely and utterly in love with Phineas Yates.

My beautiful princess Aurora is such an amazing character. She is one of my favorite heroines, and I love her with all my heart.
She’s tenacious, smart, determined and gives Phineas every drop of sarcasm and attitude his smug self deserves. She knows her worth, and not even for a second she doubts that. This sassy, beautiful and bold angel came into Phineas’s life and turned it upside down.
I loved her determination, the fact that she is not afraid to speak her mind, she knows what she wants and fights for that. She is strong, powerful, and I really want her to be a living person so I can be her new best friend. She is a princess.

I am so excited for what is yet to come, and I am counting the days until I can get my hands on the final book in this amazing and unputdownable series. I am obsessed with the “Hellfire Club” series and I can’t get enough of it. I constantly need more, crave more!

Get ready to fall in love with these characters, and most importantly get ready to love and hate, to swoon and swear, because this book will get everything out of you.

Phineas and Aurora's story is my favorite thus far. Phineas is so much more then meets the eye (in my favorite way) and I love how Aurora didn't deal with things in the typical 'girly' way. Great read.

Becker Gray’s Hellfire series is just so addictively consumable. Fast-paced, uber steamy and slightly naughty, elite vibes, young love drama, and a bit of swoony- it’s the perfect mesmerizing blend. I’ve been anticipating Aurora and Phin’s story - we’ve just been marinating in their contentious vibes waiting for their love-hate chemistry to spark, and in Ruined Sinner we finally get to see it all come to a head.

Despite being a princess from a disgraced family, Aurora is such an endearing and relatable heroine. And she certainly has survived a lot despite her privilege. Strapped with the responsibility of helping her family safeguard their future with a financially beneficial marriage- a responsibility a bright girl with a boundless future wants little to do with. Enter resident Hellfire casanova Phin with an offer to pose as her rich boyfriend (and potential husband) in exchange for some rather steamy favors. But Phin once hurt her- and these two have had quite an emotionally fraught relationship ever since.

Phin is perhaps the greatest surprise of this story- surprisingly sweet and swoony despite his playboy persona- and of course deviously delicious and naughty too. The Phin we’ve seen is just an outer mask. I loved watching him and Aurora work through their issues, the revelations about all the friction between them, and them transferring what starts out as a fake arrangement into something substantial and real. I just wanted a bit MORE from them- I love how quickly I can fly through these stories, but given the intensity of their history, I expected a bit more drama and complexity to their coupling. I certainly greatly enjoyed the story nonetheless, but after SO much back and forth, I wanted a bit more relishing transition.

So obsessed with this series- soapey, sexy fun at its finest!

It’s no secret that the Hellfire series is one of my guilty pleasures. I look forward to each new release and preorder as so as I can. Ruined Sinner has got to be my favourite book so far. Phin is all alpha male with a reputation to match it but he’s got a surprisingly sweet centre and is perhaps slightly vulnerable as well with a secret I really didn’t expect from this character. Aurora, well I didn’t take to her. She came across as quite spoilt and entitled with a tendency to overreact. Yes, Phin made a stupid mistake but it wasn’t anything that any teenage boy would do especially when under the influence. Personally I don’t think his crime justified the punishment she meted out. Maybe slightly more could’ve been made of her abuse trauma, I know it happened in the previous book but it was mentioned here and, felt to me, like the after effects were glossed over. Maybe something more might have left me feeling more sympathetic to her character. Their getting together was inevitable even if in the beginning it was more a love/hate, lesser of two evils sort of relationship. Their chemistry together was scorching but I can pretty much guarantee that’s one volatile relationship with Aurora doing the plate throwing!

Next up it’s the turn of Rhys and Sera and, after this book, I can’t wait to learn what surprises the authors have in store for us regarding ‘dangerous’ Rhys.

I just adore the Hellfire Club. Pembroke Academy is just such a hotbed of swoony, swoony, sexy, spicy drama. There's nothing like a friend group where things aren't always unicorns and rainbows, and loyalties are tested and friends are always there to catch you when you fall.

Which brings me to Aurora and Phin. Sighhhh.
The Princess and the Playboy.
So many of my favorite tropes wrapped up in a snarky, sexy ribbon.
Secret crush.
Enemies to lovers.
Fake dating.

It was like those marshmallow bunny candies - the hard chocolate on the outside that cracks when you bite it, making a mess, but it's so gooey and sweet in the middle it's totally worth it. Not to mention this bunny has a surprise that is guaranteed to make you melt.
It was so sparkly and sweet and perfect. I just loved it. *shiver*

I am SOOO disappointed. I’ve LOVED this series especially Callous Prince but that’s besides the point. This series got me into the midnight dynasty world and I’ve loved it so much! I’ve been impatiently waiting for this book because Phin and Aurora have been fighting throughout each book even though it’s been obvious they both want each other. I’ve been dying to know their backstory, dying to learn how they will overcome everything to become lovers. I’ve also been curious to learn their backstories and how they each fit into this world I love so much. In Brutal Blueblood, Aurora has something awful happen to her that enrages Phin and I couldn’t wait to see what would happen next. This is NOT what I had in mind.

First off, the other books in this series are full length, approximately 250+ pages but this is only 160 and I thought it was a mistake. I thought this because this book still cost the same price as the others. But no, this is a novella at best and should have been marketed as one. Secondly, there is a very barebones story here that is so one dimensional it hurts. This is enemies to lovers and high school. Where is the angst? The drama? Even the sex scenes were lacking compared to past books. It’s like this book was written by completely different authors. Thirdly, I hate when conflict happens for no reason and after what Aurora learned about Phin, there was no need for such a stupid fight. It just made this book so much more painful to read. I’m at 80% and I’m not sure I’m even going to finish it and I’m seriously considering returning it for a refund.

I’m nervous now too. I’ve been wanting Rhys and Sera’s book so bad but if it’s anything like this book, I am going to feel so betrayed by these authors. I already do. I’m surprised I seem to be in the minority when it comes to this book because I’d think true fans of this series would have expected more especially since this isn’t on KU. I hate giving 1 star reviews but I also hate being deceived by authors I respect and have recommended to others. This is NOT what they are truly capable of and that’s really disheartening.

I’ve been reading and enjoying this series and I enjoyed the book. It was well written. But questions remain. Who was stalking Curora is the library? Was it Chad? Or Brantley? And what happened to Chad afterwards? What was his motive?
In addition, I found the revelation by Phin annoying. I’d feel the same way if Aurora made the same revelation. It’s disingenuous and unnecessary and does not add to the story.

Since the first glimpse of Phineas and Aurora in the previous Hellfire Club books, I've been dying for their story. Becker Grey didn't disappoint!!!

They have been at war with each other for two years now. Everyone knows how much she hates Phineas with a passion. She soon learns that there is more to him than the playboy, good time fun guy who is quick with a smile. He is so swoony!!! He is perfect for Aurora, who struggles with a trauma that no one should have to deal with. Even though they have hated each and set out to hurt each other, he has SEEN her. Gah I just love their story!!!

We FINALLY get to know about these two!!!! They have piqued my curiosity since Wicked Idol!! Loved getting inside Phin’s head!!! Loved how these two fought hard and made up so well!!
