3.5* Definitely the darkest of them all.

Wow! I was not expecting Sergey to have been as dark as this. In the other books, he comes across as the the easy going one. It’s quite hard to read at times. Sergey was only 12 when Zamir made them all become killers and he had also carved the devils mark on his back. He has insomnia and nervous ticks and has to smoke tons of weed to get through the days.

Kora is a top flight divorce lawyer, who only dates men who aren’t alphas. So when her and Sergey get together, she’s shocked when he’s so controlling and domineering in the bedroom. The sex scenes are hot!! 😍 She really struggles with how controlling he is and lashes out at him a lot for putting protection on her. She’s quite annoying at times as she gets angry about stupid things. For example when she’s threatened by her clients husband on the street and attacked, she’s saved by Adrian who is guarding her. She goes off at Adrian for protecting her and Sergey. Didn’t get that at all.

I really didn’t like the sex at first. As Sergey takes her to a sex club on their first date and tells her if she wants to stop that they are over. Nice guy!! She does enjoy it but at times she’s panicking and all he can say is tell me to stop and I will, and then we’re done. That’s really not how to date someone!!! 😡 The other niggle is that I like to be able to visual people. And she doesn’t describe Kora at all! I had no clue what she looked like. The other thing in all these books is the men really lay the law down to their women, when they first meet. They insist that they trust them but won’t tell them why they disappear for days on end, or what they are doing. I’m not sure I could put up with that either.

Having said all that, I couldn’t put this book down. As Sergey is quite compelling.

I loved the first book and thought that the second could not get any better but it sure did then i got to book three and OMG had me hating but more loving and then the crying i love a good cry in a book. What can i say about Maggie Cole i love reading her books and her way of writing is magical and i can’t wait to finish reading all the other books in the series. If you are looking for a new series to read don’t look any further you want be disappointed.

This story is full of crime drama and sadistic love. I am kinda in a love hate relationship with this series... one book ends and then you start the next book half way through the previous book with lots of repeats just to get to where the next book starts around hundred pages from the end... there are lots of personal parts that are new for the two main characters but much is repeated too... I kinda wish the stories would pick up from where the previous one left off... Kora and Sergie have a great story and I would recommend it. There is alot of action adventure along with interesting BDSM clubs and dungeon play, that do make their story very different from the other two stories.

This series is so addictive!
I got totally lost in Sergey and Kora’s story. My kindle almost didn’t survive the heat from these two characters....SMOKING HOT!

I read this book in one sitting. It was a steamy and full suspense. I couldn’t put my kindle down. Can’t wait for the next book.

This is the third book in the series, and they just keep getting better. Sergey and Lisa's story was great with a couple of twists you don't see coming. As the series goes on you are drawn more and more into the lives of the Ivanov and O'Malley families, you feel their ups and downs as you begin to care for them. The sex scenes are well written, sexy but not gratuitous. Loving this series and now waiting for book 4 to be released.

Loving the series so far
Each book/story intensifies don't know how Maggie's done it but Bravo!!!
Sergey is the youngest of the brothers and put through the most hell from such a young age, meeting Kora through Aspen has been the best in his eyes although both have had unusual childhoods it makes them more guarded to begin with. But we all know love conquers all!!

Sergey and Kora are a fab couple, they’re each other’s saviours for sure.
I am enjoying these books but there is a hell of a lot of overlap in the stories. I appreciate that we’re learning about the new couples’ in each book but it’s sometimes frustrating reading repeats….having said that, I’m still eager to move on to the next book about Adrian and Skylar.

If this book was a standalone it would be good, however it’s part of a series and just replicates the same story as the first two books and is obviously old news, about 10% of this book continues the story, a big disappointment.

Another amazing book from Maggie Cole I absolutely love this wonderful series of books I can’t get enough of them I stay up most nights till early hours. But worth every bit of sleepless nights. Just incredible books.
