This book had me flipping page after page. It was hot, steamy, with drama and action in the mix.

Aspen and Maksim share a steamy encounter and don’t believe they will see each other again. Only fate has other ideas...

Loved all these new characters. Looking forward to more of this series.

I really really enjoyed this book, mostly. They have endless conversations with themselves, in the end I started to wonder if they were both insane!!! Maksim was supposed to be this dangerous Russian. It did ruin it when he started having whole arguments in his head!

Aspen is celebrating her divorce from her waste of space husband, when Maksim overhears her fantasies of a man. He arranges with her friends that he’ll be her fantasy of the night. With rules. She’ll be blindfolded and won’t see him and she won’t know his name. Aspen agrees to it and one night turns into two. When she goes home and back to her life, she can’t stop thinking about her mystery man. Maksim also can’t stop thinking about her. When they unexpectedly meet through her job, they can’t stay away from each other. It’s seriously hot. Then he starts having his conversations…….. He doesn’t think he’s good enough for her, he should stay away, she’s too innocent.

The other really disappointing thing about all of these books, is that the dangerous situations never come to anything. Dangerous ex husbands just disappear and it’s really frustrating. I’d love a bit more danger to the heroine. Also while it’s seriously sexy how do they have sex all night? Does she never need the bathroom??? Or to have a drink?

Having said all that, yes I’m still reading the series and I love it! Also, I’ve now read this book a couple of times and I still love it.

This is a very very good story. I am looking forward to the next story. The Epilogue or Preface at the beginning of the story is a tiny bit confusing as usually it's used to give a reader a bit of background or history, in this story it is simply a different perspective of the couples first night together. I kinda wished it had been included in the sequence of events as it happened rather than before the story starts. I love the male perspective in this story it is very well portrayed. The female perspective is slightly less fluid not that it's bad. I enjoyed the story very much. The Ivanov brothers are all complicated hard men who love their family and women completely. The blindfold stranger sex in Vegas is exciting. The rest is pretty much fast paced action adventure with some Drama and misunderstandings tossed in. I kinda wish Aspen's friends were involved with some of the Family as they seem fun and smart. The idea of Sergie as a cub in a cage is sorta funny. Who knows what might happen with Adrian as he seems interested enough to talk to the magenta haired friend about what happened at the stripper club... the story and the mafia wars are heating up... especially after Aspen gets bit by the snake... and then the bodies...

What happens in Vegas stays there - or sometimes not!!!! Tall, dark. & menacing falls for a divorcee fulfilling her fantasy of blindfolded sex in a one night stand. They meet by chance again and share the secrets his Russian connections spring on them while forming a sensual relationship that inadvertently sparks an all out war between rival families. This is a cliffhanger so be warned - but don't let that put you off. This is one great read. I'm now reading book 2! 👍😘😉😏❤😍

Ok.. I was really looking forward to reading this, after reading many mafia alpha male books, but I had to give up, the start is ok, but it is so unbelievable when the main character lets the lady into his business within the mafia pretty much straight away, totally unbelievable and I couldn’t get past that, and the fact she is trying to read and change him quite quickly, I may pick it up again one day, but doubt very much I will.

I wish I could of given this book more stars in the rating review! I loved it.
Right from the get go to. the pace, the intensity of the storyline, the passion of the lovers but also the relationship of the brothers. It flowed perfectly.
Can't wait to download the next one

This has been on my TBR for a while. Finally got to read it and I devoured it in 2 days.
I just couldn't put it down. It had me intrigued from the 1st page.
I loved the chemistry between Aspen and Maksim. They were so honest and genuine, I fell in love with them.
The Steamy scenes in Vegas were hot 🔥.
There were alot of drama and Suspense too. I am looking forward to reading more from Maggie.

A new author I discovered and my word she is a fantastic writer.
The content, structure and characters are second to none . I can’t wait to get stuck into the next instalment.
If you love mafia stories you won’t be disappointed and this book is definitely the right way to start with this author.

This is my first time reading from this author and Boy have I enjoyed the story so far... the first meeting and the first encounter was soo hot and exciting I couldn’t put the book down the chemistry between Max sim and Aspen is off the charts can’t wait for sequel
