C’est une bonne romance, très bien écrite qui commence sur une voie puis continue sur autre, avec des scènes comiques grâce aux personnages que j’ai adoré : Chris est imprévisible par son immaturité, mais aussi touchant, quant à Belle, elle décide de ne pas sortir avec des hommes, ce qui tient 3 secondes.
J’aime beaucoup cette série et cet épisode ne fait pas exception. Vivement la suite :)

I borrowed the book on KU when it first came out last year and really enjoyed it - it’s full of funny moments that make you laugh out loud and sweet, romantic moments that make you smile and sigh. I loved the developing relationship between Chris and Belle - he’s such and endearing idiot you can see why she falls for him. Annoyingly, I returned the book before making a note of the author and title and it’s taken me almost a year to track it down, but it was well worth the time and effort! This time I bought it and I’ll be reading it again.

Oh I absolutely loved Chris’s book.
Just amazing writing and fab characters. The banter between all the characters was great… Chris especially.
Can’t wait to read what’s next :-)

As always Penelope you've given us another fantastic read that has brought tears to our eyes through laughing.
Oh my word...Chris and Belle were hilarious.
Chris and his antics had me laughing out loud.
These two were literally a match made in Heaven.

Cute. Amusing. Light. Read it in one sitting. Sensible girl with a hidden slightly wilder side meets grown-up kid with amazing body. He's pretty funny and very likable.

I’ve been a fan of this author for a very long time, years. I have to say though, this is not my fav out of her books. I liked it well enough, but the couple just didn’t sit well. I did have an issue with Chris acting the way he did towards Belle. Their relationship was totally fabricated, but he didn’t have to be such a jerk. It didn’t help my opinion of him when he proposed to Mindy in front of Belle - farce or not, she didn’t know at the time, she had no knowledge and he wounded her. Once they switched, I just couldn’t take anything written about him seriously. It affected me. Finally, Damon took the reigns and slapped him upside the head so he could pull it out of the other part of his body where the sun don’t shine.

This book is great! Any book that starts out with that kind of "bang" is a shoe-in for a wild ride. And what a wild ride this book is!

Bloom has become, to me, the author I go to for fun, overly developed characters. Don't you look at me sideways. These kind of characters work in her books. They add an extra flair to the story. There aren't many authors who can pull it off.

For fans of the "fake" trope, you most certainly need to get on board with Bloom's version of them. They are so much fun. I am not sure if these books are supposed to be spoofs with a hint of not-so-spoof, but that's the feel I get from them. (Sorry if this isn't the case, Bloom!) And it totally works for me. I find myself chuckling and shaking my head through most of these books.

This book is part train wreck and part light and playful. When I could see what was possibly going to happen next, I wanted to close my eyes while simultaneously excited for it to go where I thought it was going. These two characters and their explosive chemistry are a recipe for a lot of fun...

I definitely recommend this book and this series. It's so much fun with just a hint of seriousness.

This book was an absolutely delightful read that brought a smile to my face, lightened my heart and quite simply made my day brighter. Belle and Chris were incredibly easy to love. Two epically different personalities with undeniable chemistry. I could really relate to Belle. Precise and in control are very much traits I connect with on a personal level. As for Chris I would liken him to a large puppy that is clueless about his size. Cute, endearing a bit clueless and intensely persistent. He will definitely have your heart puddling. The story itself is fun, clever well crafted and emotional. If you want a book that is full of feels, laughs and swoon; you can stop looking because you found it.

The idea of behaving for a few months has him nervous, though, and he fears he won’t last. The idea of being taken off the market and spending time with Mindy, an influencer, is not exactly exciting. When he sees the beautifully normal woman seated next to him on his flight from Texas back to New York, he cannot help but indulge in one last bang while he still has the chance.

Chris and Belle are both vulnerable when they sit next to one another on that fateful flight. Although their chemistry is incredible, their futures are uncertain. Neither looks beyond the comfort they can offer one another in flight, and neither puts the pieces together that might have led them to realize that their goodbye would be short-lived. When Belle meets Chris in the offices of Rose Athletic Representatives, they both feel the burn of deception and betrayal. Their outrageous banter and insane chemistry keep things interesting as they play their parts. Chris is absolutely hilarious and appears irredeemable. His gradual transformation from bumbling playboy to devoted beau is highly entertaining. Belle has just been burned and has thus decided to steer clear of men. Her battle is largely with herself – and letting in someone as unpredictable as Chris defies all logic. Her reactions to Chris’s craziness keep things light and playful. The couple may start out hot and heavy, but they have a lot of work before they earn their happy ending.

Chris and Belle’s steamy romance is light and playful as the troublemaking NFL quarterback finds himself hooked on his wedding planner. Zany humor and laugh out loud moments are found from beginning to end. The story is nicely written. The plot is fairly simple. The characters are nicely developed. The story is written in first person. The POV alternates between Chris and Belle, with one chapter in Damon’s POV. I rate this book four stars.
