A short extremely hot story

A short all be it very hot story , I’m not certain what era is set in but certainly although it contains modern language I don’t think it’s set in present times ..... though I may be wrong 🤔 . Lily Snow came from a wealthy family even an arrangement had already been made by her father that Lily was promised to marry someone of equal standing . Sadly though after the death of both parents her wealth was put in the hands of her Uncle until she became of age to have it , unfortunately he gambled heavily and lost everything . Now without her intended wealth even her future husband turned his back on Lily ,her uncle who was great friends with a Mr Richard Garner arranged for Lily to become governess to the family’s two children . It soon becomes clear that Richard Garner is a despicable sort of fellow with very evil intentions towards Lily . A chance meeting with two very handsome young men in the park in Butte was to start a chain of events that Lily could have never imagined possible . The two men in question Rye & Keane were in Butte looking for a wife as is the custom where they come from that one woman could be married to several men at one time . Thinking that the shy but georgeous Lily could be the one ,they were a little despondent when two young children rushed up to her . Assuming that she was already married they continued in their quest of finding a suitable bride .Lily was just as taken by the two men and later that night when in bed she her thoughts about Rye & Keane turned to the carnal type she was caught in the act of pleasuring herself by Mrs Garner . Immediately sacked Lily was turfed out of the Garners house ,unable to find alternative work in the town she decides to leave Butte so has one night in the towns nice hotel . Things go from bad to worse for Lily that night but her two white knights come to her rescue . What happens next ? ........ well I’m not saying you’ll have to read the story to find out . One things for certain is we’ve not heard the last from that horrible vile excuse of a man Richard Garner he’s a real nasty piece of work .

I really enjoyed Celestes virsion of Bridgewater Ranch and how she had woven others in from other books.
I'm glad the men got there lady and she got her men.

This is going to be an interesting series to follow. Written by different authors so there will be a variety of plots. Most of the Baridgewater Brides are not in KU

Celeste Jones’ Their Blushing Bride is the second book in the Bridgewater Brides series. In this book we meet Lily Snow, a former governess down on her luck. We also meet two childhood best friends, Keane, and Rye, who embrace the Mohamir tradition of polyamorous marriages. Our lead characters are multi-dimensional. Lily is a smart, petite young woman whose has struggled to make a life for herself. She has been responsible for herself from an early age. Keane and Rye are tall, muscular, virile, and good looking. Destiny brings them all together in Butte, Montana. These two alpha males rescue Ms. Lily Snow from a sexual attack. There exists amongst this trio, a definite chemistry. Will this threesome find happiness? Will their path be a smooth one or will some evil villain sabotage their journey? To discover the answers to these questions, you must read this book.
I loved that Ms. Jones continued the saga of Bridgewater in this new series. It follows the basic premise set forth in Vanessa Vale’s Bridgewater series of romance and polyamorous marriages. Ms. Jones presented this topic in a respectful way. Although this is an erotic romance, the descriptive language she employs does not make it raunchy. I am looking forward to reading the rest of this series as the subsequent books are released.

Wanting a wife to share leads Rye and Keane who are about 32yo to Butte, Montana, a big city near their homestead called Bridgewater where people can live with the rules set out by their community, and not by “society.” The Bridgewater Brides series has been successful for Vanessa Vale and I’m guessing that she’s inviting other authors to write their own take on the series because this book is written by Celeste Jones but takes place at the same ranch…It was lust at first sight for the threesome. What happens as a result of their first meeting is remarkable and leads our threesome back to Bridgewater and an HEA.
Rye, Keane and Lily make a great throuple. She’s shy, well-educated and pretty. I’ll let you read the book to get the history of the men…fascinating. As was customary at that time, Lily is only 19yo and of course a virgin! That just adds to my attraction to this book. I volunteered to review an ARC of this book through Booksprout and it comes highly recommended if you like a ménage plot with older alpha males who love their woman beyond reason, with some intrigue and lots of steamy passion. I give it 4.5 scintillating stars.

I am always a bit wary of reading books by different authors but set in the same world. You never know what you will get - some are a tribute to the original author’s books and others manage to ruin the world. This book definitely falls into the first category. Celeste Jones has taken the Bridgewater menage series and added a story that fits seamlessly into this world. You do not have to read that series to enjoy this book, but the experience will be enhanced (Plus, the books by Vanessa Vale are great!) and you will recognize familiar characters.

I enjoyed this story - it stayed true to the original series, featured familiar characters, and had some very sexy scenes. You can feel the emotions of the characters - love, fear, loneliness, happiness, pain and even the sexual longing - from the great writing by the author. I had a hard time putting this book down until the end. For any fan of Vanessa Vale and the Bridgewater series, this book is a must read!

The Bridgewater Brides series was first introduced by Vanessa Vale and they all were excellent. Vale spent a lot of time giving realism to her characters. Her Scottish men talked with the Scottish burr and phrasing. Vale gives all her books details that are real and in that time period………Enter a new era whereby Writers are “loaning” out their series and ideas to other writers. I imagine this is more driven by the publisher wanting to have more writers of this genre in their stable. That said various people have written or co-written other writers’ series. What is happening though is a slew of books that have the outward appearance of the established writer, in this instance Vanessa Vale, but the content is severely lacking. Yes, they usually involve two Bridgewater men seeking a bride and by luck one falls into their laps, it’s insta love by the runaway woman, they return to Bridgewater and something befalls the group where they take their eyes off their bride and she disappears. The men hunt her down, dispatch the villain and return to Bridgewater to live their HEA. Their blushing Bride had the very same premise as Their Accidental Bride with Kelly Dawson as the writer. The only difference between the two books is that the heroine in Blushing was already in Butte. The covers look like Vale's, but that's where it ends. That’s it story over. If you want a good read with filled out characters and an involved plot, the “Bride” series by various writers is so not it.

I felt like I was passing back and forth between a regency and modern romance. Really sin is self-abuse, upon the ground,could not have said, carpet bag, my favorite drawers. Please carpet bag how about duffle, suit case, back pack? Sin of self-abuse, masturbation, playing with myself. Drawers my absolute favorite that was a term my grandfather used, how about panties even underwear makes more sense. I love the Bridgewater series but this one was to difficult to even finish. With hopping from regency to modern not only frustrated me but just kind of made me tired of translating. Dialog should be flowing and modern, conversations should be language like I’d be talking to you. So decide which era you like best and stick with it.
