Wow I loved this book

This is book 2 of this trilogy so please you must read in order and I gave book 1 a 4 * rating as I just wanted a little more from the author on maybe why Kate was one of the most horrible characters I have read about lately, just something was off with how she betrayed Emilia with Gabby and some of the things she said to her.
I mean seriously this girl is the definition of selfish, disgusting, despicable, jealous, arrogant and just downright nasty and if that’s how she is to her best friend well if she starts to be cruel to animals it wouldn’t surprise me…. She is a narcissist & psycho to the core.
I really don’t want Helen, Carter or Emilia to ever forgive her for this as there was no reason for her to treat Emilia the way she did and am I an awful person for wanting her to always be unhappy and not have Emilia to blame, she deserves to be miserable and unhappy so her family can see it was never Emilia to blame and to be fair right now if Kate was killed off I wouldn’t she’d a tear.

Now don’t let Kate stop you from enjoying this book as Carter & Emilia are so perfect for each other I know they have to come back together permanently in book three.
I won’t cope if they don’t get their HEA with each other, everyone can see the chemistry is off the charts and their love so real I almost forget they were characters in this book I was so drawn in to them.

I’m not going to lie though I cried real ugly tears near the end of this book it broke me a little and I really hope Carter doesn’t lose it like he did in book one and just become reckless with his love life, Emilia doesn’t deserve it again as she is doing this for his happiness with his family. Yet again she is putting everyone else’s happiness before her own and doesn’t want him to lose his family.

I have liked a few of this authors books but if she doesn’t give me Carter & Minx married with loads of babies and happy beyond their expectations I will not be happy.
On to book 3 now so hope I’m not ugly crying again as it’s not a good look.

This was my first time reading this particular genre of book and the author did not disappoint. The book was absolutely incredible - I read all three books in around 2/3 days because I just could not put them down.
The story was excellently written and not the normal ‘boy meets girls and they love HEA’ - the story had great ups and downs, lots of passion and charisma in the characters and really captured my heart and mind.
Highly recommend these books and author!

After reading the first book, I just had to start the next book straight away. Oh my god, the tears I cried with this book. I really felt for both Emilia and Carter in this book. I just couldn’t understand why his family couldn’t be happy for them.
This series is fast becoming one of my favourites. I love the comedy, the romance and the cuteness.

We are still following the story of Emilia and Carter, only now they are reconnecting in college. The writing and the story itself is crafted amazingly well. I thought the last book was already pretty emotional, but the joke is on me. This book emotionally wrecked me, it broke and healed my heart multiple times. Another big surprise was that I hoped that Kate would have been a bit more grown up by now, but I was SO wrong. There were moments I just wanted to slap some sense into her. I really really hope she will redeem herself in the next book.. we will have to see! Somewhere I knew (since there is another book), I would probably be broken once more before the ending of this book. I just knew something was going to happen soon, but gah the love between them, I just wished they had even more happy times together (Emilia and Carter are really perfect for each other). That ending, even though I expected my heart to be broken, almost destroyed me. Overall, this book broke me down, build me up again and then basically shattered my heart. I am craving for a happy ending and can’t wait to see where their story ends!!

Wow! Okay so at chapter 30, I thought this book was about to end. Looked it has 52 chapters. I was like what could possibly happen after this? I am glad I kept going, by chapter 51 I was like oh dayum. Chapter 52 Amelia actually redeemed herself. She was being a weak wuss of a human being.

Now, book three I am hoping she rises from the ashes like a phoenix. JS! Carter and Amelia's love while cute, need some angst. They both need to grow into their selves before they can build that life together. Amelia need a backbone and to learn to stand on her own. Time to be an adult.

Her backbone grew in the last few chapters. Was tired of her sitting around begging and crying. About the incident in last portion of the book. However, this writer is so talented, you could definitely empathize with her character.

This writer vividly brings her characters to life! I mean really, she is an excellent writer. I definitely recommend this series.

This book where do I start. This book is well written, but I did not enjoy the plot AT ALL. First I hate books where the hero is basically a manwhore while the heroine is a nun waiting for him, which is basically how this book starts out. I wanted her to give him a run for his mo ey before being so available to him. Then Kate is literally the absolute worst, and Helen isn't much further behind her. The first book had so much promise, but this one made me hope they both just move on. Carter, nor his family deserve her at all.
