What an Amazing surprising book ! ♥️

OMG ! I'm under the shock !
This book has everything I ever wanted to find in a book!
Looking for a hot and controlling yet very exciting Alpha? Got one.
But the heroine ... Seriously... She's freaking fantastic! She have a strong personality and you're always entertain with her !
I love the creating side of the book, because as the heroine make her own clothes, there is a lots of details about clothes in it! Let me tell you that I would like a picture of the wedding dress so much, because this as shut down my mind for good. I was like a sport fan cheering for his favorite team when I read that part !
Moreover, the dialogue are amazing, and there's is so much humor in it, I'm never tired of it !

This is truly, a MUST read book for me !
And right after that review I'm going to start reading the second book !

L. Steele's latest book Mafia King (Arranged Marriages 1) takes us into , yes, you guessed it, Mafia territory and into the dark side of romance!
If you're familiar with her books , then you are already aware of the connection of the Big Billionaire series and the Mafia.
This is the first in the story of Michael and Karma (Summer's younger sister).
Expecting the usual hot and mega steamy scenes, well, this book ramps it up even further into the dark depths of both Michael and Karma.
Michael Byron Domenico Sovrano , being the Capo of his Clan, trying to exact revenge, is immediately drawn into the illusive and mysterious Karma.
After he kidnaps her , immediately the tension is rising and the chemistry boiling over!
Karma, hiding her true darkness, feels an immediate tug towards the growly and extremely Alpha Michael.
Even though he kidnaps her, she cannot ignore the attraction.
For someone Karma's age, she's going toe to toe with Michael, something not to be taken on lightly!
In true style, L. Steele has crafted a masterpiece of 2 dark souls who find themselves drawn to each other and their struggles to come to terms with their feelings for each other end exploring the darker side of each other.
The age gap in this book really does not distract at all from this great book! It actually enhances it!
The characters are very well developed, extremely interesting and have a depth that needs further exploring!
From the first line to the cliffhanger at the end, this book had me on the edge of a knife, or 2. It's really well written and the storyline keeps you wanting for more!
Cannot wait to find out more about Michael's siblings and the unfolding story!

This is a dark story which you are warned about, however keep it a bit real. I'm sure there are no 18 year olds who are virgins that have the dark cravings that Karma does, I might be wrong 🤔 Also I found this to be a tad repetitive, the author keeps repeating the same internal monologue both characters debate with themselves, which is frustrating and boring and I wonder if it's just to fill up the pages.
If it wasn't for that and the age thing then there isn't a bad story going on and I want to know what happens next.

Absolutely love this story line and I've got to admit, that I'm half in love with Mika too!! Why is it that men like him or the Seven truly exist!! Not the crime side of things and definitely not the Mafia or the Bratva!! That part of never be interested in!! I am not a submissive at all and could never imagine a man to be able to do what these alphahole's do with their women, but damn if the idea of a man attempting to do this to me, well that's why I'd love to meet some one like Mika and the fun of watching him fail to rope me in lol!! These books are so steamy, but hell if they don't make me swoon lmao!! I love the story line and how it all entwines with the seven!! Get this book and I promise that you won't put it down until you've read every single page!! So.....what are you waiting for???

A Dark Mafia Romance - fantastic start to series

Having just finished reading the Billionaire series I moved straight onto Mafia Heir and Mafia King. I’m glad I’d read the Billionaire books as there are references to them in Mafia King and we are also introduced to Karma and Michael in that series. These are two strong characters who harbour dark desires within themselves and prove to be well suited and more than a match for each other! The “push and pull” between them makes for a great read. They are constantly trying to out manoeuvre each other and some of their actions may seem a little shocking at times. I probably shouldn’t like Micheal with his ruthless personality but, by the end of the book, I was definitely on his side!
With a few twists along the way , I found it difficult to put this book down. This book ends with a cliff hanger so I’m now impatiently waiting for Mafia Queen!

I am just about to finish reading the prequel book after I have completed this book. Wasn't aware of it!
The reviews I have read after I purchased the book confirms the contents of an unusual relationships of the main characters.
Looking forward to reading the next book The Mafia Queen and the final one, despite its rather cruel and deadly characters in the book.
Still hoping for a happy ending.
Would the author create stories for the rest of the brothers and stepbrothers mentioned?

6 chapters in and I'm putting this in my DNF pile.

The MC male is interesting and dark but the female is laughable. She is giving fellatio hours after first meeting and being abducted by the mafia? It's just ridiculous and unbelievable.

The author is talented and writes well bit these early chapters are weak and I couldn't get on board with the unrealistic characterisation of the MC female.

This is the following on series from the big bad billionaire books from L Steel. That series I enjoyed, but struggling with this trope. Never been a fan, but after meeting Karma in the beginning with sister Summer, then her arriving at Baron’s wedding l was interested to find out her story. Ends on a cliffhanger, so already annoyed and downloading the next in line.

He sees her in his dreams, he kidnaps her and marries her. He thinks he can use her and let her go (or kill her) life and power stuggles get in the way. Has she killed him -- what will Luca do with/to her--- can't wait to find out what happens next !! What a cliffhanger -- loved 😍 it

I loved the prequel to this book , but this one just blew me away. The little twist and turns you don't expect and the interaction between the characters is just perfect. I love this couple,
I did not see the end coming but had a feeling from the prequel that one of his brothers was up to no good. So desperately waiting for the next one
