It is for the moment my favorite tome.

I really liked the evolution of romance (finally !!!) it still took 6 volumes to have a semblance of emotions ... I however hate the part of the leg in the air at 3 with Caleb ..

I always have a preference for the couple Tory and Darius, if I appreciate being able to have the point of view of several characters it is at times tiring, because I want to continue on their story and not on the history of others (this is a very personal taste and I think it is voluntary on the part of the authors)

The end is too much ... there is already too much going on to prevent the happiness of our two lovers without adding more ...
I like the rapprochement and the friendly evolution between all these little people.

the writing is always so great, and big point for humor.

Why are the authors doing this to us?

Tory was again annoying at the beginning of the book, thinking that she wasn't to blame with the whole Elysian Mates thing, but like every time Darius would make an effort and open himself to her, Tory would just try to find excuses. To me, Darius really redeemed himself in Cursed Fate and I'm so in love with him I'm not even ashamed.
As for Darcy and Orion, I knew it was too good to be true and I was waiting for something to go bad and it did and I just want to cry. Orion was insane to plead guilty, even though I understand he did it to protect Darcy.
Max and Geraldine, I'm still ready for them to get together but at the same time I love how Geraldine pushes him away and how Max never gives up!
Seth also redeemed himself to me towards the end. I think he and Darcy can have a cute friendship if he doesn't play stupid.
And Caleb can also be a really good friend to Tory. It was so sweet what he did for her and Darius even if it only worked once.

Also, can we talk about how the Heirs and the Vegas are so much stronger when they team up? They are meant to work together and not against each other (even though we all knew it from the beginning but it feels so good when they're not at each other's throats!).

Cannot wait to read ZA6! Even though I know my heart will probably suffer again.

For months I couldn't get the idea of the book being like the silver star ( à roller-coaster at europa Park) out of my head. When at the beginning you are on the Rise and you are freaking out cause it slow and you are seing the sky and you turn to your friend and say what the hell are we doing here cause you know you are scared at the beginning but you still go because you really like it after. That's the same feeling I got with cursed fates, I knew with the cliff I'd be afraid of what could happen but knew I'd love it.

I really loved sweet Darius.
And the heirs and the girls beginning to bond, I was so waiting for this to happen.

And I really really loved how the two spin off melt with ZA. I like seeing characters from a spin off and see how he was years before or how he became years after. Even though it's stay cryptic so I am searching clue and grasping each little Crumb of info that are given.

I feel like every new za who got released is my favorite but I will be totally incapable to choose one each time I read or re-read them.

I don’t know when was the last time when I read a series this good, BUT (and this is the reason of the 4 star) it doesn’t matter how much I love the writing and celebrate the authors, I can’t let go of the feeling that the negative and brutal sadness in this story is so overly outweighed.

I’m sure I’ll read the whole series no matter how many books we’re talking about (I’d bet it’ll be 12 like the main zodiac signs), but it would be absolutely great to have some good things too. And I’m not talking about party with orgy. I’m talking about Orion. I’m talking about Darius, Tory, Darcy. You know why if you read this book.

My problem is that the stars cannot be this idiot. They can’t be bending to one side as I believe they should be in balance. Yet they aren’t and it annoys me every time. The stars themselves shouldn’t be cruel, yet it really gives the vibes they are. Which is literally the only reason I have a bit of dislike. This is exactly the same why I feel the negative outweighs the positive, too.

And I have the feeling the next book will be just as imbalanced.

In my last review did I mention how much I despise Lionel? Because I feel like my hatred for him has just increased tenfold thanks to this book.

This was an emotional journey from start to finish and I was fighting for Tory and Darius through the whole thing. My heart needs them to get together and overcome the fate that's supposed to be set in stone and I really think that's possible with the determination and love that these two characters share as the story progresses. I was squealing at parts of the book especially where they both learn their faults and had swoon-worthy scenes where they tried to start from scratch basically. Then it all got messed up at the end because of my most favourite person to hate in the series. Lionel.

Let me say, I really did not see this twist. I didn't think you could have two guardians and I don't know why, because there's no rule but I obviously just assumed and I should know never to assume anything with these two ladies writing together. Oh and don't get me bleeding started on Orion. That was a twist in the courtroom that I didn't see coming. I thought he was going to fight tooth and nail for their relationship in that courtroom and then I cried for Darcy and her heartbreak. I basically cried 99% of the time through this book.

The emotions are just right on the surface and you feel it all, every little thing the character feels, you feel and it tears you apart. I have no idea what's going to happen in the next book but I know what I want to happen. I'm concerned if I express these views that this won't happen and my characters will die, so I'm gonna keep my trap shut. I will admit though I was wrong about Diego. I thought he was a traitor but I didn't believe hee wasn't until he literally died.

I'll just rock in a corner now until the next book.

OK, deep breath. This book. Is. Everything.
How these amazing talented writers do it, I don't know but Thank you Caroline and Susanne for incredible writing! I was so ecstatic to receive and Arc and I honestly haven't felt this much of a book hangover since ACOTAR and ToG. The writing is incredibly emotive and you find yourself screaming, laughing, wanting to throw something, and gasping in horror. That is the beauty of the talent here and if you haven't read it, well it sucks to be you right now.

This book is mainly about character growth and some redemption from characters that you thought were irredeemable. Some are just plain old villains that you just love to loathe from every fibre of your being (here's looking at you Daddy Acrux.) I hope that he eventually gets his downfall, but it's really amazing to see in this book that he has to bite his tounge for once, (the photoshoot 😂) Also the crazy Clara, she is just a psycho, will she be redeemed? Who knows!

I feel this book had the biggest development with Torius. Where I have sometimes found Tory unyielding and stubborn, she seems to find a lot more empathy as to why Darius has treated her like he has. Similarly, Darius has been given a glimpse into Tory and how different their upbringings were and their time together is so cute (well apart from that one time 🔥) I love seeing their characters develop how they are and can understand now why they are star crossed as they need this to progress and move forward.

This is also has development with Darcy and Orion, but in a way that has made Darcy bloom into her powers and become a force to be reckoned with, rather than the softer twin. Orion.. I can't talk about that without getting angry and upset (the power of brilliant writing!) but I will just say he's a self sacrificing idiot and leave it at that.

I loved all the other sub stories such as Xavier and his mum, and the bonding between them is so lovely to read. Also Kylie, she needs to go down hard!

Finally, Gabriel *smug smile* I knew it!! And I'm so happy that he is their *cough cough* I'm hoping to see more of a crossover with him and his wife and kids.

Im just heading off to read it again 😂 honestly. Read the book, read the series, get obsessed, read all the other books in this world, all the others from the authors. Get sucked into the hole! You will not regret it!!!

Well.

Slap my a*** and call me Geraldine. What a rollercoaster. I had read 85% by 4am on release day but I knew I would have to read the end after at least a bit of sleep. And boy am I glad I did. I did not see that coming at all! The cliffhangers that these ladies write - it's like they're trying to give us all stress induced heart attacks!

So much happens in this book. To some extent we get some answers and it's great to see relationships and dialogue between characters that haven't particularly had that so far on the series. I ship Max and Geraldine so hard and I want her to get her succulent squid and be happy - she deserves it. Darius was completely redeemed in my eyes but Orion is in my bad books!

In terms of the sexy times I'll just say two words... amplifying chamber. You are in for a treat.

What a great addition to the ZA tale and I can't wait to read the next book to find out just how the gang are going to deal with that dirty reptile Lionel and the shadow b**** (defo not a princess).

If you haven't read these books what are you doing with your life. Yeah you will be stressed out a little but you will feel all the feels and get so into the world. Thanks Caroline and Susanne again for an amazing book!

An emotional rollercoaster of epic proportions!

Honestly it’s like oh thank god, good things are finally happening! Then, oh, no. Something worse has happened to counteract the good. But what’s that on the horizon? A glimmer of hope? Whoops, can’t have that! Let’s crush your hope and grind it into the dust the fuels the godforsaken freaking stars!

I can’t cope. And I don’t know which character I despise the most anymore. Clara? Lionel? Washer is disgusting. And even some of the “good” guys are frustrating the hell out of me. They’re all just 𝙙𝙤𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙧𝙞𝙜𝙝𝙩 𝙩𝙝𝙞𝙣𝙜 but it’s hurting everyone around them and screwing everything up! Gaaahhhhh.

Of course it’s another hook ending and I know there are two more books out currently with an 8th coming at the end of the year…but are the plans to stop there? Or are there plans for 12 books, 1 for each zodiac sign? Because this is killing me in the best way.

This is the 5th book in the Zodiac Academy series and it will blow you away and have you screaming out loud, either with laughter or hatred. It let's you understand why Darius is the way he is and the interactions between him and Tory are beautiful yet heartbreaking. Each and every character has an important role to play in this series and I love each and every one of them.(except Lionel..he's a dirtbag)
As with all the other books in the series it ends on a cliffie, but these authors are so amazing that you only have to wait a short while for the next one.
The authors have built a world you want to live in and be a part of and I want to be in Geraldine's A.S.S club so badly.

Ok, so I feel like first i have to take back what I said about Seth in the last book, he is not irredeemable. He truly manages to turn things round from the last book and become the person he hides beneath his tough and cruel exterior. He does a lot for Darcy in this book and for Tory. His suggestions to Darius for how to woe Tory are just hilarious!

Darius and Tory ... sigh... were they ever two people more right for each other in the world than those two. My heart aches for them in this book and I just want to be able to fix things for them. Tory made a heart-wrenching decision in the last book that I absolutely hated her for but at the same time I can see her reasoning. I also think Darius needed for this to happen so he could free his head which was firmly lodged up his backside!

The Heirs, Orion and Darcy really come together in this book and I love all the secrets that are revealed. I love how the twins relationship with the Heirs change as their focus changes from trying to get the Twins to leave to fixing things between Darius and Tory despite the fact that no one has ever changed something like this.

There is a lot of amazing character growth in this book even for Lionel. Honestly, i didn't think he could become any more of a douchebag and i was right, he's Satan in dragon form! I thought I thought I couldn't hate him more after what he did to the Twins, Darius and Orion in Shadow Princess but i was wrong! What he does in this book is just soul destorying!

If you like books that leave your heart bleeding on the floor then this is the book for you. Cursed Fates has been written so amazingly it is a literary masterpiece!
