Not too much payoff for the slow burn of this romance but my God do I love Cade!!! He's so unbelievably hilarious and I can't wait to read his book (I didnt read it in order whoops) but yeay! I feel with their past there was already love to begin with so they didn't need much of a push. Love love it!

Oh these characters make me chuckle so much, I just love their world and reading about what they get up to. The place they create sounds fab. Such an enjoyable read bid love to spend more time with them and especially their kids!!!

I enjoyed the focus on Nick and Miranda's story, including the way the epilogue drew things together for the main characters featured in the series. There were times I laughed out loud.

Brilliant book again
Brilliant storyline and absolutely loved Nick and Miranda. This set of books have been brilliant.
Lovely to read the three best friends finally got their HEAs with the three Brothers that they adored. Also really happy to find that Miranda was finally going to have a child that her and Nick so badly wanted.

The character of Cade was off putting. The language sometimes tasteless, especially from the character of Cade. Fortunately I didn’t read the previous two books in the trilogy. Started off okay, but then I lost interest in the story especially towards the end of the novel. I thought it lacked realism too and the characters didn’t seem to retain my attention. Wouldn’t recommend it.

I enjoyed this, the 3rd book in the series by Penelope Bloom, but not as much as the first two. This one just stretched the credibility a bit too far and lacked the humour of the others, so a nice read, but not my favourite!

Miranda and her friends Kira and Iris made an oath seven years ago to never date a King brother again. Kira and Rich got back together after seven years when Rich, Cade and Nick moved their billion dollar company Sion to West Valley. All the guys wanted to be back with their girls from West Valley. Iris and Cade got back together. Miranda swears she will keep the oath. Miranda has been dating Robbie but she had no feelings for him. Miranda broke up with him. Miranda was working her way to the top at her job but a couple guys heard that she was gunning for their jobs and next thing she knew she was fired. So within 24 hours she had broken up with her boyfriend and lost her job. Miranda has always wanted everyone to think she was perfect even though she wasn’t. Nick hasn’t talked to Miranda since they moved back to West Valley. He had a bad crush on her in high school. Miranda had a crush on Nick in high school and she still did. Miranda had written a poem for Nick in high school and put it in his locker, she didn’t sign it because she figured he would know who it was from. Nick asked Kira out three days after he received the poem, this started the oath taking with the girls. Miranda went to apply for a job at a company named Bark Bites, she didn’t know that it was going to be bought by Sion. When Miranda got to the interview it was with Nick. She got the job and it started a weird dance between Miranda and Nick. Robbie wanted Miranda back but she didn’t want to be with him. Miranda was always concerned with what people thought of her. When Robbie hires a reporter to get a story on Nick and Miranda, Robbie tried to blackmail Miranda into coming to work for him. Will the bad press cause problems with Miranda and Nick? Will Miranda stay with Nick and Bark Bites? Will Miranda and Nick finally get their happy ever after?

I have really enjoyed this series! As much almost as the 'Objects Of Attraction' series, even. For years, poor Meredith has wedged herself into a rigid molding of outward perfection and expectations that she just can't force herself to hold onto any longer. The unwelcome realization that the perfect future she is heading toward with her perfect job and her 'perfect for her' boyfriend, suddenly has her panicking and wanting to head in the opposite direction. When jealous co-workers and supervisors afraid of her projected leapfrog of success, (right over their heads), connive to get her fired, she decided to do an about face in her life journey. Dumping the perfect Did of a boyfriend is step one. Finding a new position where she feels like she can really make a difference in the company's ability to be successful, is step 2. Step 3 is continuing to stand strong as the sole remaining member of the Anti King Brothers Dating Vow. She refuses to give Nick King the ability to break her heart again! When through a series of crazy coincidences she ends up working for said King brother, she is completely thrown off her axis.
Nick King feels pretty wobbly himself. For the last seven years he has lost himself in the pursuit of overcoming a series of ever increasing 'challenges', searching for the 'perfect solution' to solve each problem, only to find the accolades...empty. Now, watching his brothers happy and content in their lives after winning back their long lost Loves, he is forced to consider the idea that perhaps each challenge he strives to overcome is really just a way of compensating for the one thing he failed at. Winning the heart of his childhood flame and former best friend.
A vengeful ex who won't take the hint, a hideously ugly dog they are corporately contracted to keep, and a crazy canine filled company retreat later, these two perfect overachievers have to decide if trying to achieve perfection is overrated. Maybe the perfect solution to both of their problems is really an imperfect, sometimes messy love. !maybe the perfect future they are looking for is the one they can't anticipate or control. Maybe perfection is imperfect.
You'll like these characters. You'll love following them on this furiously crazy and irritatingly distracting broken road that brings them back to each other. The reason for four stars instead of five is that it lags a little in ways the other books didn't. Still a fun, sweet story you will enjoy chuckling your way through. Be prepared for more Cade craziness, and strangely deep theories of snail behaviors and analogies!
