Presley Harper's our heroine is potentially a brilliant worker. She is attractive and intelligent. Her foremost career aim is to get an executive position at the prestigious Aspen Hotel chain. And along with three other candidates she is selected to become an unpaid intern for three months. She is exceptionally mentored by CEO Dominic Aspen. But after a successful chance dinner with billionaire Dominic and a client, Presley is persuaded to be arm candy and act as Dominic's girlfriend for two weeks so he can win a huge contract.

Fact is, Presley is concerned about the ethics of her deal with Dominic away from the office and the future consequences. But she especially needs the attendance payments she will get to pay for her brother's ballet education and to eat. She also needs to ace her internment so she can finally get off her friend's couch and buy her own apartment.

Dominic and Presley feel some attraction to each other, but Dominic is not interested in a exclusive relationships and is rumoured to hire escorts. So Presley tells him she will not go to bed with him. Yet Dominic has his secrets and particularly keeps his work and home life separate. Only his deputy executive knows that he is single parent bringing up twin girls.

This story is easy to read and written from both Dominic and Presley's point of view. I recommend this as a worth while read.

An Intriguing Read.....

I’ve been reading quite a few of Kendall Ryan’s books recently and I have to say that I am just in love with her work. She writes such catchy stories and I just can’t help but want to keep on reading with each page. Since I saw the cover to this one, I had a feeling it was going to be an interesting read, and I have to say that Kendall didn’t disappoint with this one. I thought the characters were quite quirky, they had a really good banter between them and I love how Presley was so strong, that whilst she had so many things going on, she never let anything get in her way of trying to give her brother the best life possible. There was a couple of things though that did stand out for me, which I wasn’t really a huge fan on… For instance, she was working her ass off so that her brother could have a better future and have anything he set out to do, but whilst she was struggling and doing her best, he only really seemed bothered by if she had the money for his education… if that was me and I was in his position, I’d be ringing my sister up as often as I could to make sure she was okay, that she wasn’t overworking herself and she was still enjoying life as she should be… It irked me that she would be okay with how he treated her, I know that things were a little hard on them both due to their dad being a complete twonk, but even still for two people who have gone through what they both have, they should be sharing a closer relationship and he should be making sure she’s okay instead of just focusing on the whole tuition side of things.
The other thing that bothered me was how Presley didn’t even think to go straight to Dominic when she got those documents after her meeting with that guy, hell, if anything she should of took her friend with her so that she had the back up in case anything did backfire, but for someone who was meant to be strong and hardworking, I found her to be a bit weak at this point…
Other than that, I don’t have any issues with the book, I did enjoy the story and I’m excited to see what happens next, because the way this one ended, I’m sure the next one will have a lot of surprises in store.

Presley has worked her ass off to get this internship at Aspen Hotels, and whilst she beat a good amount of applicants, she is still stressed out as she’s currently living on her best friends sofa and doing everything she can to pay for her brother’s Dance tuition… However, the worst part of all this… the internship is unpaid, so if she makes the cut, for 3 whole months she won’t be making anything and she’s stressed about it. However, when the oppourtuniy arises for her to make a bit of extra money, she is in two minds about whether she should do it…. One because she’d have to pretend to be her boss/mentor’s pretend girlfriend and secondly…. He’s the CEO of the hotel chain… It’s risky, but when she does the maths, it’s a no brainer really… But will things work out or will something be set in the way to break the spell between them???

Rollercoaster of emotions and a long journey ahead for both. What will be the outcome when trust is misplaced?

A cliffhanger ending, so make sure you have Seven Nights of Sin on the side.

Thank you Kendall Ryan for a fabulous start to a great love story.

Be warned this has the worst cliffhanger ever

Ok, where to start. This was listed as the first in a series but what it is, is the first half of a good story which I felt was spoilt by having a break where it did, to me a story needs a beginning, a middle and an end with a lead in to a second book if it's a series but this ended in the middle of a phone call.
Beware the first book was free and the second was £4
That said it's a good story and I did buy the second immediately after finishing the first.
It's a good story and will pull you in, both the protagonists are good strong characters who I find myself liking immensely.

Cliff Hanger Ending.

First of all this book ends with a cliff hanger so you need to buy the second one to see what happens. I would have liked to have been warned about this before I purchased it. However in saying that the story was excellent with great characters and one I enjoyed.

There wasn't much to it, they meet they straight away like each other, she has a big iner diolog about being perfessional then kisses him, more iner diolog about bein perfessional n then pretends to b his gf for money, he treats her like shit n she's desided to to stick to bein perfessional then has sex with him lol it just wasn't my kinda book,I like a mc with a back bone and I like that feeling when you really wanna no what happens next,this book you really did no wht was going to happen next, just too predictable.

Oooh, what an ending!

Great build up and gripping story line. Presley, seems so strong and has her head screwed on, if not a little naive. I don't always get her, like taking the money, but devastated when he implied she was a wh0!e. Then Dom, powerful CEO, head strong, and burned a time of two. Not always nice and hella confusing.
What's next??

It's not a bad book if I'm honest but deceitful as it's a series not a hea. You need to pay for book 2 to find out the full story. It's not mentioned in the disruption which is misleading. Which is why I don't recommend the book! Books should have full disclosure in the synopsis imho.

Cannot believe this book ended on a cliff hanger had to buy the 2nd part straight way. Loved the characters and Kendall writing 4 1/2 ⭐️
