The sweetest… Again, Siobhan gives us a beautiful and full of emotions love story .. I loved it.

The writing is perfect, Dakota and Shawn are endearing and so sweet together , you have no other choices but to be hooked on this book until the end.

The romance is steamy , lovely.. it’s the meeting of two soul mates who have painful pasts and will heal each other.

I highly recommend it.

A rockstar/college romance as Shawn Lucas, a character that makes me think of Justin Bieber, goes to college to hide out from the escalating attentions of a dangerous stalker. Almost immediately he runs into Dakota where neither of them make a great first impression on each other.

I loved how each character grows and develops in this book. Both are damaged by past events. Shawn had stardom thrust upon him at young age and ended up falling into drug and alcohol abuse to cope and Dakota is grieving the brutal death of her sister and the ongoing effects it has had on her life. The character of Shawn does come across as a bit unlikeable to start with. He’s spoilt and arrogant but as the story progresses it becomes clearer that he’s become jaded by all the fame and fortune. He doesn’t like what he’s become and is determined to turn his life around. Dakota’s family had gone through such a devastating loss that has torn them apart, each one grieving in their own way. Her way of coping is to follow the career path her sister was on at the expense of her own dreams of becoming a dancer. Neither of them are looking for love. Dakota’s last relationship ended when her boyfriend cheated on her with her best friend leaving her with trust issues and Shawn is terrified of getting involved and maybe putting anyone else in danger but the chemistry between them soon overcomes their reluctance but there is still the big secret Shawn is keeping from her about his true identity. With the underlying threat from the stalker adding an element of suspense to the plot, Incognito was a great read.

Dakota is the dutiful daughter who gave up her dreams of Julliard after a family tragedy and is now studying accounting to take over the family business, and she has no social life as she returns home every weekend to take care of her family. Shawn /Levi is a bad boy famous pop star who left his friends behind to follow his dreams and is at a stage of his life that he is not proud of the person he has become, as he is estranged from his family, has acquired a stalker, and wants to get his mojo back and write music again. His handler arranges for him to become a regular student and has changed his image to become unrecognizable. Shawn is fascinated by a girl that is dancing on a rooftop of a derelict building which he overlooks. How will Dakota react when Levi’s identity is revealed? This is a beautifully written story which is emotionally charged, with family, friendships, humor, witty banter, secrets, suspense, danger, intrigue, twists, anonymity, and love, which leads to a riveting and addictive page turner. I look forward to reading more from this talented author whose work I highly recommend.

I originally read this book all the way back in 2018 and have picked it up again more recently not sure how I missed reviewing it back then either because I absolutely loved this story!

It’s just as emotional the second time around the relationship between Dakota and Shawn is well written and well thought out. Both struggling with something from their past they come together as one and make an amazing team!!

This story has everything you expect from a Siobhan Davis book, it’s emotional It has the twist we have come to love within her work and it gives you that much needed hea have you tissues at the ready because you’ll need them

This is my second time reading Incognito and I loved it just as much as then. Kota's grief and pain tugged at my heartstrings something wicked and my heart broke for her. Watching her finding herself after everything she's gone through and Shawn rediscovering himself, both separately and intertwined is beautiful to read. Shawn is the perfect book boyfriend, at will have you with hearts in your eyes and leave you constantly swooning. Their romance is truly beautiful.
I loved the Cameos and side characters from other books... It makes me want to reread their story again!
This is a must read!

OMG I LOVED this book and couldn't put it down, I read it in less than 24 hours. I've found my new book boyfriend. I absolutely love Shawn/Levi, he's shown as this awful drug and alcohol loving rockstar when actually he's the biggest softy going who just needs the love of a good woman. Dakota comes into his life just at the right time but he also comes into hers as well. They both had a sad childhood but soon their life turns out so much better. I really want a book 2 so we can see what happens. Definitely a must read

Incognito is one of those books that consumes you and has you reading late into the night. Siobhan Davis never fails to deliver the unputdownable stories her readers have come to expect. Due to the way Siobhan Davis writes, you soon become lost in the story and feel like you're there with the characters going through what they're going through. You can't help but fall in love with Dakota and Shawn who will take a small piece of your heart with them when you get to the end of their story. Even now, over a week later, I'm still thinking about this amazing couple who help each other to heal and find themselves again.

“That hidden inside this shell of a person somewhere lies the real Dakota Gray.” - Dakota

For me, I feel the storyline of Incognito wasn't reminiscent to any of Siobhan Davis’ previous books. I find each standalone/series to always be unique, but just as addictive. As for Shawn, what better way to go incognito then surround yourself with people who would never expect to run into a famous singer around campus. Daisy may be his biggest fan, but she would never in a million years expect to meet Shawn, so it doesn't even enter her mind it could possibly be her celebrity crush when he seems familiar. The plot for this story is so simple, but also so creative and believable. It just shows how talented Siobhan Davis is.

We also get to say hello to well loved friends from Inseparable as Angelina and Devin pop up several times. I loved getting to see what they're up to now, and I'm so glad that Siobhan Davis allows Devin to show that possessive side of his when it comes Angelina. After reading Incognito, I immediately jumped into Inseparable so I could revisit the emotional roller-coaster ride Devin and Angelina take towards becoming the special couple they are now.

Dakota says the following about a song written by Shawn; “That was beautiful, and it conveyed so much emotion. Like it was sad and haunting and then heartwarming and uplifting at the same time. And definitely romantic.”. I feel this also says beautifully the journey this 5 star read takes you on. As with any of Siobhan Davis’ books, I can't recommend this one enough. And if this is your first book by this very talented author, then I can guarantee you'll become addicted and want to read every book she's written!

This book has been in my TBR pile now for so long, and I didn't really fancy reading this book. I have the 'finding Kyler' series and didn't really enjoy them, but then I bought 'only ever you' book and I fell in love, that must have been when I ordered this book.

Honestly, I didn't plan on reading this book, I accidentally clicked on it. HOWEVER, I'm so glad I did. My day of painting the walls and organising my house has been moved to tomorrow , once I started I couldn't stop. I didn't want to pause this book at any moment, not even when the sun was burning my shoulders and the sun cream and relief was inside ... I now have a burnt shoulder.

Seriously if your in the mood for a good swoon at a book, this is it. And if your not in the mood for a good swoon, try this book, you'll want to still swoon. It has mystery, romance, and a tiny bit of action. You'll feel frustrated, shocked, and ready for a good fight but you'll tear up in some place and just want to give your own heart a squeeze.

Honestly, the only improvement would be it their was a side chapter where Shawn/Levi punched Cole. But I can imagine that part by myself.

This book has given me 4 hours of pure joy and emotions. Seriously recommend. I've already paid my cousin to buy it.

Multi layered storyline

This is a romance with a really strong backstory. On the one hand, theres a rock star whose life is being threatened so much, he is forced into hiding. Living an alternate life until the person making the threats is caught. On the other, a girl who is putting her own dreams on hold and trying to fulfil those of her dead sister.

These two are just fated to meet, drawn to each other on many levels: passion, artistry, camaraderie. They both hold their secrets close, revealing them a piece at a time.

The romance between Shawn and Dakota is hot, but the thriller element of the story is engaging and the whole thing is delivered in a well rounded book. Highly recommended.

I love this book so much. I was hooked from the very first page. Shawn is so swoon-worthy he is everything you need in a guy. I also loved seeing cameos of a certain family that i love, it makes me want to dive straight back into that book. This fantastic read took me on a emotional rollercoaster , but wow it was amazing. Highly recommend this book. Five huge stars.
