Great characters

This book is definitely worth the read as I couldn't put it down!
The characters in the book and all the bonus books are fantastic and there are some moments that you just want to hug them all.

There's just the issue of spelling and grammar in all of the books I have read on kindle and paperback by all the authors.
They should be proof read to check and correct mistakes.

Whilst I found the title a bit of a misnomer in some ways each story was intriguing.

I found sometimes it went slow but then picked up again and it held my interest. All characters intertwined and had a connection yet were quite separate at the same time, I really liked that aspect.

I would recommend anyone who enjoys lighthearted romance to take the time to settle in with the stories written by Sarah J. Brooks. You will, I'm sure, enjoy them as I did.

The characters were dull and wishy washy, the storyline almost painfully contrived. Mike and Julia's relationship was slow and boring. The medical terminology (if you can call it that) was more akin to a middle schooler than an adult and the editing and poor use of grammar made my head swim. Wouldnt recommend this book.

A beautifully frustrating story. Sarah did a great job writing both Julia and Mike’s characters, and their need to not push each other did a great job of pushing them even further into frustration. I really loved the ending.

A Good Basic Outline, But Needs Work

I can't quite decide if I liked this book or not. It had the outline to be a good story. But I think there were too many negatives to pull it off, and the shame of it is that most of the negatives could have been eliminated by a good editor and a good proofreader. Of the two main characters, Julia and Mike, Julia was by far the most annoying of the pair. Julia is presented as a mature 25 year old, successful career woman, who has planned out her life carefully, and is determined to become a single mother. Unfortunately, if you read the book, that doesn't really play out. A less mature or organized individual in their private life might not exist in New York City. Mike, on the other hand is a very responsible OB-GYN, who happens upon Julia and is very attracted to her and pursues a relationship with her. That one action sets everything else into action, but from that point the story becomes full of Julia being insecure in every way possible and taking it out on Mike. I think he freaked on her once in the book, I lost count on how many times she chose to make mountains out of mole hills, or just decide to hear what she thought he meant. Neither of them seemed to know how to ask for clarification over anything. Mike seems to just go with the flow and not want to cause any problems in his personal life.

Strangely, the secondary characters were really interesting. Though I had to wonder how Julia could go through an entire pregnancy without informing her family; the only relative mentioned during most of the story is her brother, Rob. At the very end she mentions her mother, it's very odd. Mike must have no family, but has lots of friends.

Lastly, the grammar and misspelled words/wrong words were enough to distract from the flow of the story. I'll say it again; Spell-Check is not your friend, words will be spelled correctly, but they may not be the words you want. If I have to stop reading to figure out what a words is, to make a sentence make sense, then it wrecks the story. The same goes for poor grammar, if a character has poor grammar as part of that characters' development, that's one thing. In this case, both leads are educated, well spoken individuals, so their grammar should match, errors their are sloppy, as are other instances though out the book.

So to wrap up, a story that has possibilities, but is brought down by main female lead, poor grammar and too many typos. A full overhaul could really lift this story up.

OMG!! The Baby Package by Sarah J. Brooks is awesome. It is so good that I had to buy it to read again. This is the story of Julia and Mike. Julia is only 25 but wants a baby but no relationship so she decides to go to a fertility doctor. Mike is friends with Julia's older brother, he does not know who she is at first, and is also a fertility doctor who works in the same practice as Julia's doctor. Mike and Julia meet at a bar and then again at the doctor's office. Will Julia get past her embarassment and continue with her plans? Will Julia and Mike get together again? You will need to read the book to find the answer to these questions and to find out if Julia and Mike get their HEA. This is a must read and definitely recommend this book.

The storyline was the only thing that kept me reading. Only twice before have I plowed through so many grammatical errors, misspellings, and wrong word choices in all my bookworm years. In several instances, only the context of a paragraph enabled me to decipher some poor excuse for a sentence. I strongly encourage you to either take some basic English Grammar courses or hire a damn good editor and proofreader who knows the English language to examine your copy BEFORE you publish.

I absolutely loved this book! It would be great if the author would continue with Mike and Julia's story. They are deeply in love and love their babies. The next book on Mike and Julia would be more children AND more of their love story to continue. Julia has a very stubborn personality and does not like to make decisions, which is frustrating as a reader. Loved Mike's character and would not change anything. I have been wanting for a book like this one regarding what happens AFTER the character is pregnant. Compared to other books the story ends after the proposal and/or pregnancy, which has been frustrating me as a reader! In the epilogue there were a few misspellings which I did not notice throughout the book. Would recommend this book

This was such a good read! A page turner for em for sure! There were times I wanted to just shake some sense into Julia and Mike! This story does a great job of showing that communication is the biggest issue between men and women!!!!
Sarah writes some seriously steamy scenes and moments that will grab your heart. I became invested in these two characters and were cheering them on and again, slapping them silly, the whole time I was reading this book. Have no fear, Sarah comes through and Mike and Julia get their HEA, but just by the skin of their teeth!
Grab this for a not-so-common baby read (cause honestly I usually hate insta babies), this book will provide you with so much more like it did for me!!
