Fifth Hidden Truths book!

This story really hit me in the feels. It was so heartbreaking and yet so beautiful at the same time. Riley and Ben may be one of my favourite couples of Brittney's so far, though, it's really hard to pick because you fall in love with all her couples. I really loved this friends to lovers story and how they always loved each other even when they were not supposed to. Riley and Ben need to work on forgiveness and their shared heartbreak before they can move on with their lives. It really shows a couple that was meant to be, even if it didn't happen until years later. There is always that possibility that if they had been together from the beginning they may not have worked. That everything had to happen as it did, no matter how heartbreaking for them to find each other again. I'm sad to have the Hidden Truths series come to an end but, I look forward to seeing these characters make appearances elsewhere and for Brittney's new stories! There's always rereading too. Another amazing story by Brittney!

Save Yourself the Time and Don't Bother

This book had potential...so much potential, then the characters got in the way. I'm sorry but after FOURTEEN years of total silence, one does not just spread their legs within days of seeing someone you used to know and harbor feelings for. He's a literal stranger to her, minus the gossip about him from her mom that was forced on her.

The main character Ben abandons his best friend for 14 years, absolutely no contact; no emails, no letters, nothing, and then comes trotting back in and just takes over her entire life. His excuse for abandoning her 14 years before is so incredibly stupid and lame but she just shrugs and says 'we both made mistakes.' Bulls***. The main female character is so incredibly weak, she pissed me off. She violates her patient's privacy multiple times, doesn't appear to know much about mental health even though she was labeled best in her class, and just bends to this stranger's every whim. And he is just that, a stranger that she used to know. And, I'm so sick of stories where the man just bangs everyone to 'get over' the person he claims to really love. He was constantly running into women that he'd had sex with previously. That's so freaking gross. He was skeezy.

The writing is hackneyed. It almost feels like 2 different writers, one for each half of the book. The suspense is supposed to come from who the killer is but it's painfully obvious halfway through and you're just waiting for these supposed security experts to figure out the basics. Count yourself lucky and take a pass on this one. I wish I could get my money back.

Ben, Nate, and Riley, born on the same day, and best friends until Nate dies in a tragic accident! Ben leaves town and Riley is left without her 2 best friends. She does everything she can to contact Ben, but he ignores her for 14 years. Then he has to come home because Nate’s father is murdered.

The who-done-it part of the storyline is clever enough to prevent you from guessing the antagonist till the second half of the story. But, the romance leaves a lot to be desired. It shows why teenagers SEEM so stupid in decision making. I’m confused by all the 5 star reviews. Just an okay read.

Brittney Sahin does it again with another read with suspense, mystery and of course a hot ex military man and the one woman who owns his heart. This time it’s the final man Ben, whose story we have been waiting for, and what a story.
It all started years ago with his best friends Nate and Riley. The three were inseparable since birth until a tragic incident separates Ben and Riley, Ben runs away leaving Riley to deal with her emotions on her own. Years later he returns to his hometown when he believes Riley could be in danger and it opens up past hurts, guilt, anger and hate/love for both of them.
Another AMAZING AMAZING read that had me glued to the pages trying to figure out the mystery of whodunnit, with twists I didn’t see coming and blowing me away at the end. Not only that but the emotions flying of the pages between Ben & Riley, made me feel like I was right in the room with all the tension and the hate/love relationship. As well as the steam coming off of these two would fog up windows and the sparks would cause a fire.
A read with steamy sensual scenes, a read with amazing dialogue and banter, a read with suspense and mystery, a read that flowed flawlessly, a read with two characters I couldn’t help but fall in love with, a read with past characters making a final appearance, a read with an ending and an extended epilogue that brought tears to me eyes. A read I was sad to see end and I CAN’T WAIT for more from this author !!

This was the final segment in the Hidden Truths Series, The Final Goodbye is Ben and Riley’s story. Ben and Riley grew up together and separated after a tragedy when they were 18. Now 14 years later, they are reunited after a serial killer surfaces in their home town. What follows is a rollercoaster ride through long suppressed deep emotions, suspense, and danger you won’t want to miss!!!

Riley and Ben are on the trail of a serial killer in their town, racing against time before the killer will murder again. Having to overcome misdirection of the case and of course the suppressed feelings from their past, they race to save those they love from certain death. As the clues come together Ben and Riley get closer and then have to face their past and work to reconcile the trauma they experienced as kids. The tension (sexual and criminal) blend together to provide that wild ride I mentioned.

I was hooked in the prologue and couldn’t put this book down until I finished. Then I was sad to know it was not only finished, but the end of an enjoyable series. On a good note, there are other Brittney Sahin series to read!! I enjoyed bringing the characters from the past books in for a guest appearance and loved catching up with their lives. This is the first series I’ve read of Brittney’s and I’ve already downloaded the next to read more!!!!

This is by far my favorite male character. I like Ben a lot! Love his personality. Love more characters like him without them staying away for years. Love their protectiveness. Still the author needs to cool it with so many green eyed people. Only 2% of the world's population has green eyes. Google it! Like more male characters with a sense of humor, tall (6' to 6'2. ( no taller than 6'4) and ripped! Don't like men with rude and insulting attitudes. I don't like men that feel that they need to put a woman down or put her in her place .Love a man who will not tolerate anyone being rude to a woman (their woman) . Hate, hate, hate having a woman who is klutzy around a man who may make her nervous and hate a woman who nervously talks too much. She comes off as being an airhead. Nothing to admire there ! She may be nervous but has the ability to hide it, she shouldn't make a fool out of herself ever!

Wow!!! Some many twists and turn between love connection and a serial killer on the loose in a small country town. The undeniable sexy love connection between Ben and Riley is off the charts!!! There is so much drama between the two. There's a story why the haven't seen each other in 14 years. Such an intriguing sensual, sexy, Steamy love story! Ben has to also keep watch over Riley with a serial miller on the loose. He has calls on Adrian and Ava, and his military brothers to help out. On a again his military brothers and wives fiancees all together saves the day.

Such a fitting and engaging story to end on a very high note!!!! I COULDN'T put my Kindle down!!!! I gonna miss the gang!!!!

This was a great ending to the Hidden Truth series
The story of Ben and Riley was just as exciting as the other stories
Full of action, visit from Aiden and Ava suspense, romance, second chance at love,
The touch of connection of the other characters from the previous stories kept us connected and knowing that they still had each others back gave the reader a sense of all will be alright
It was touch and go for awhile and a real page turner, to be expected by a book by Brittany
Sorry to see my heroes go, but hopefully they will pop-up in future books
Get your copy and be prepared to spend some time turning the pages nonstop

I have now finished the Hidden Truths series and can honestly say the characters and plots improved with each book. It’s as if Brittney Sahin’s writing is evolving with each book she writes. Ben and Ri’s story kept my interest throughout. i had my ideas about who was behind things once the story started developing, and I did figure it out before it came true in print, but it wasn’t like I could pinpoint it right on. The chase for information had me going right along with the characters.

Childhood friends that were starting to realise that their feelings were more than platonic split apart by tragedy then brought back together by tragedy. While trying to find out who is killing seemingly random people in their home town, the only connection between these people being that they know Riley, they discover that their connection was never severed, it was just put on hold. And what they felt for each other as teenagers, has grown and matured. This is the last book by this author in this series, and while I was saddened by this news, I was also pleased at the hint of her new series in this book. While this series may be over, I don't think we'll see the last of these characters. Which is great. This author really has a way to bring her characters to life, and when you reach the end of her books, you'll feel so emotionally vested in her stories and the characters. What a great ending to a series. Looking forward to reading what this author has next in line for her readers.
