J'ai adoré cette série. Ce premier tome est très bien écrit, plutôt torride (avec plus de BDSM que dans les autres livres de cette auteure). Les personnages sont excellents, surtout quand on découvre quel est le métier du héros.
J'ai été contente de retrouver les personnages des séries précédentes des "Beneath" et de la "Mount trilogy"

I didn’t realize this series was closely linked to the Mount Trilogy, yet it is. I prefer a more badass female lead character, but Temperance is interesting. Told from her POV, except for the last chapter. So lots of missing information, which is why I only gave it 4 stars.

That feeling you get when you’ve only read a few lines and you know putting the book down isn’t going to be an option. That doing an all-nighter is on cards and you couldn’t give a damn as you’re simply wallowing in it and if you’re not jumping up and down, it’s simply because you don’t want to embarrass yourself! March’s writing has this effect on me. I have to admit that I haven’t read all her books; nonetheless, this one felt different from the ones I’ve read so far. Why, you may ask! Well ladies, make sure you’re sitting comfortably ‘cause I’m about to explain why!

The adjective ‘hot’ comes up short. Swelteringly impassioned and ardently intense are definitely more fitting! Now then, if any of you are familiar with my reviews, you’ll know my main interest lies in the plot, the setting and the character development. I’m well aware that amorous scenarios give an added spice to any read...a bite if you like. However, other details require our distraction. Here’s the huge plus which swung me. Not only is the storyline above the rest, what bowled me over was how the author’s entwined so much intrigue into the first of what I can only imagine to be a nail-biting series with so much steaminess. Seriously, it is steamy! Obviously I wouldn’t dream of telling you how I felt after turning the last page. The ending ladies, is for you to discover.

The tension which starts to build up in the first two chapters simply gets better and better as you read on. And the cameo appearances from The Anti-Heroes Collection had me jumping for joy, figuratively speaking of course. But who stole the show, who I’d already met was Temperance. I’d like to point out that the author has written the book in such a way that it is not necessary to have read the previous series. Temperance...oh my, what a marvellous character. Responsible, sharp and always on the ball, she’s been given the opportunity to run ‘the business’ while her boss is having time out with her better half. Showing her worth, making friends, feeling comfortable with herself and confronting her past, was what she wanted to achieve. Hmm...never in a million years could she have imagined what was to come though.

The man! Dark and so damn beguiling regardless of his...how can I put it without letting on, veil of mystery, intrigued her. Or better said, whet her sexual appetite. Perhaps too much for her own good, but who knows how she really feels comes from the most unexpected source and I do hope you love this character as much as I did! However, this inopportune taste of danger rung sweet. I asked myself where such an attraction would lead to. I also asked myself how she'd conjured up such fearlessness to do what she did. Did Temperance bite off more than she could chew? And if so, to what extent would she pay the consequences? Every step he or she took, every move they made, every allegedly calculated thought could unknowingly throw both of them out of kilter. It’s an addictive erotic relationship neither can stay away from. It’s dark, thrilling and fast paced and I blinkin’ revelled in it!

I’m dying for the author to put me out of my misery and answer my questions. I can’t say much more ladies...and gents ‘cause why not, you guys would probably love it—without spoiling it for you. Now that would be a crying shame, wouldn’t it?

So, how on earth can I sum up this read when there are two books to complete The Anti-Heroes Collection? What I can say is March’s latest release goes above and beyond. Her creative writing enraptured me; titillated and teased, tested my patience and pushed me further than I thought possible. And get this, I still want more! I have no doubt whatsoever that Iron Prince: Book Two, is going to blow my socks off! Bravo March!

How dare you stop now. Talk about being clock blocked, Amazon doesn't like the other word. It was just getting good, and the love scenes *chef's kiss* burn so good. Perfect except it's no series just a stand alone book with no editor. The artist, landlady, and auction didn't need to exist, as entertaining as the landlady was. The cop, gallery owner and the girls are tie ins to other series and also could have hit the chopping block. There was an entire exchange that happened with the assistant that could have been cut. Then I would have been able to have my completed book.
I love the book and no doubt that's some excellent writing, howbeit, it's not a finished plot.

Meghan March has once again led us to the streets of New Orleans with this new series. Temperance Ransom was first introduced to readers in the Mount trilogy books. If you have not read them yet, don't worry, Savage Prince completely stands alone and the crossover characters are well fleshed out so you won't feel lost at any point. What will happen, I hope, is that you'll automatically go one-click the Mount trilogy books so you can meet and experience Mount and Keira firsthand.

Temperance is a great heroine!! She's worked hard her whole life to make something of herself, and now she's the COO of Seven Sinners Distillery, the company owned by her boss, Keira who happens to be married to Lachlan Mount, someone you don't want to ever get on the wrong side of. Her brother, Rafe Ransom, does a lot of "work" for Mount, and is the only family she has left. She's finally to a point where she feels like she's left her past in the bayou where she was born. She spends all her time working at Seven Sinners, trying to help Keira make it the most successful business it can be, which leaves no time at all for a social life, let alone a love life.

One little business card changes everything for her. Meghan leads us on a deliciously sexy, kinky, journey of self-discovery for Temperance. She left behind everything from her youth, including her true passion, and through a twist of fate, she has an opportunity to pursue that passion again. Which also reconnects her with someone from her past. It was so integral to the story to see where she came from, what she dealt with as a child, and why she has worked so hard to get to where she is today.

I have to admit I am so intrigued by this "stranger" that Temperance meets and spends sexy time with. Who is he? What part is he going to play in her future? Is there any chance at all of having a relationship with him? And the cliffhanger that Meghan leaves us with?? What the what?? How am I supposed to wait now for the next book!!

Besides the crossover from the Mount trilogy with Kiera, Temperance is introduced to an amazing group of ladies that live in Meghan's Beneath series. If you haven't read those books yet either, I highly suggest you get to reading them as well! You should probably go ahead and just download all of them too so you'll be familiar with Valentina, Yve, Vanessa and Ariel. And I would be remiss if I didn't mention one of my favorite characters, Harriett, who is Temperance's landlady, and was a couple of the other ladies landlady as well in past years.

This first book set up SO many questions for me! I am dying to move on to the next book to see what happens next! I couldn't read this fast enough. I was glued to the pages, following Temperance on a journey of discovery, as well as the suspense element that started building from the beginning of the story. My heart was in my throat by the very end, and that cliffhanger certainly didn't help!! Oh goodness, the wait for book 2, Iron Princess, is going to kill me!!

The plot and characters were incredible, and her plot twists had me reeling and wanting more.

Although the series appears to be a spinoff of Meghan March's Mount Trilogy, it may be read independently. This novel concludes with a bit of a cliffhanger, but I know that Meghan March has more planned.

Overall You will not regret it.

What a ride. This story was intense, in so many ways. So. Many. Secrets. So few answers. I absolutely loved it. I was intrigued by the vague blurb, and I’m not sure I have figured anything else out after having read the book. I do know I need the next book and am completely OBSESSED with figuring out all the things and all the players who are tied to Temperance’s life.

Savage Prince is the first book in Meghan March’s Savage trilogy. This trilogy is part of her Anti-Heroes collection of which the Mount Trilogy is part, reading those books will give you a sense of the world and just how dangerous a position Temperance may be in. It is also set in the same world as the Beneath series. Some of those characters have cameos in this book, but not a huge role. Savage Prince is written in first-person, narrated by Temperance until the end.

Savage Prince was an explosive beginning to this new series. I was addicted to Temperance and her mystery man from the onset of the novel. Their chemistry was immediate and apparent from the moment they shared page time. It was as if I felt the same pull toward him as she did when it had been a page too long since he’d appeared there was a longing in me to have them come together and combust, again.

All the other moving pieces in Temperance’s life made her story so much more intriguing. In the Mount trilogy, she was so focused on her job; I wanted to know what made her tick since it seemed like there was a lot she was keeping to herself. Savage Prince delivered in a massive way on that front. Temperance is the very definition of still waters running deep, and I have a feeling we’ve barely begun to wade past the banks of her turbulent river.

I’ve barely finished this book, and I am chomping at the bit to get the next one. Savage Prince is a drug, and I NEED my next hit. I keep looking back for clues I’ve missed to answer all the questions I have, but I’m certain all of the tiny crumbs that were left were artfully placed to make sure whoever is reading the book has enough information to be intrigued without having enough to start putting the puzzle together yet.

Meghan March is a guilty pleasure author for me. The books I’ve read by her are dark and decadent and oh so sexy. I find myself getting lost in the world and she adds in the cameos from her other characters in such a way that I know I need to read their stories too.

After reading the Mount Trilogy I went straight to reading Magnolia’s Story now I realise I should have read this series after the Mount ones but hey ho they all have Lachlan Mount popping up and that’s a very good thing you can never have too much Lachlan ❤️❤️. To quote Keira Temperance has the ideal name to work at the whiskey distillery she’s strong sassy works well in a crisis and I’m guessing hasn’t had a stellar upbringing. Her brother Rafe was mentioned in the Mount books but we get to know more about him now . As COO Temperance is heavily involved in sales now though she seems to have got herself into a little bit of a sticky situation . After going to a club where she thought she was going to discuss the supplying whiskey to them Temperance soon realises that this club is unlike anything she’s been into before . After discovering that it is an exclusive sex club she’s totally swept away with what she is witnessing so much so that she gets hot and heavy with a very handsome sexy mysterious man . After doing the deed she panics and runs out of the club vowing never to return a vow which Temperance is finding hard to do . As with all Ms March’s books they’re fast paced ,gritty , violent but with oodles of hot sex and intrigue this one is shaping up to be another excellent read . Book 1 ends with a cliff hanger can’t wait to read Book2 😉❤️❤️
