I didn’t realize this series was closely linked to the Mount Trilogy, yet it is. I prefer a more badass female lead character, but Temperance is interesting. Told from her POV, except for the last chapter. So lots of missing information, which is why I only gave it 4 stars.

How dare you stop now. Talk about being clock blocked, Amazon doesn't like the other word. It was just getting good, and the love scenes *chef's kiss* burn so good. Perfect except it's no series just a stand alone book with no editor. The artist, landlady, and auction didn't need to exist, as entertaining as the landlady was. The cop, gallery owner and the girls are tie ins to other series and also could have hit the chopping block. There was an entire exchange that happened with the assistant that could have been cut. Then I would have been able to have my completed book.
I love the book and no doubt that's some excellent writing, howbeit, it's not a finished plot.

What a ride. This story was intense, in so many ways. So. Many. Secrets. So few answers. I absolutely loved it. I was intrigued by the vague blurb, and I’m not sure I have figured anything else out after having read the book. I do know I need the next book and am completely OBSESSED with figuring out all the things and all the players who are tied to Temperance’s life.

Savage Prince is the first book in Meghan March’s Savage trilogy. This trilogy is part of her Anti-Heroes collection of which the Mount Trilogy is part, reading those books will give you a sense of the world and just how dangerous a position Temperance may be in. It is also set in the same world as the Beneath series. Some of those characters have cameos in this book, but not a huge role. Savage Prince is written in first-person, narrated by Temperance until the end.

Savage Prince was an explosive beginning to this new series. I was addicted to Temperance and her mystery man from the onset of the novel. Their chemistry was immediate and apparent from the moment they shared page time. It was as if I felt the same pull toward him as she did when it had been a page too long since he’d appeared there was a longing in me to have them come together and combust, again.

All the other moving pieces in Temperance’s life made her story so much more intriguing. In the Mount trilogy, she was so focused on her job; I wanted to know what made her tick since it seemed like there was a lot she was keeping to herself. Savage Prince delivered in a massive way on that front. Temperance is the very definition of still waters running deep, and I have a feeling we’ve barely begun to wade past the banks of her turbulent river.

I’ve barely finished this book, and I am chomping at the bit to get the next one. Savage Prince is a drug, and I NEED my next hit. I keep looking back for clues I’ve missed to answer all the questions I have, but I’m certain all of the tiny crumbs that were left were artfully placed to make sure whoever is reading the book has enough information to be intrigued without having enough to start putting the puzzle together yet.

Meghan March is a guilty pleasure author for me. The books I’ve read by her are dark and decadent and oh so sexy. I find myself getting lost in the world and she adds in the cameos from her other characters in such a way that I know I need to read their stories too.

We met Temperance, Keira’s PA, now COO during The Mount Trilogy. I knew from her part in that series that she had an interesting past and that I most definitely wanted to learn about it. Temperance has fought for her place in a world that was miles away from the one she was born into.

Savage Prince begins with Temperance arriving at a sprawling mansion for what she thinks is a meeting about Seven Sinners Whiskey but turns into an awakening. Temperance meets a stunningly attractive man, who treats her as if he knows her every inner thought and desire and spends an evening with him before running out on him.

After this first event you start to learn more about who Temperance really is, where she came from and why she became who she did. Working with Keira and knowing about Mount is far closer to a world she’s used too then she would lead people to believe.

Savage Prince is an introduction book, the plot and characters are written in a way to introduce you to more of this dark underworld that takes place in NOLA and leaves you begging for answers to all the loose ends that each chapter creates. Its 2 steps forward, 1 step back with every twist and turn.

While I enjoyed the start to temperance’s trilogy, I wasn’t as in love with her story as Keira and Mount’s. I loved the little glimpses we got of Keira and Mount and found myself looking more forward to hearing what they were doing than what Temperance was up too. In saying that I’m looking forward to Iron Princess where we will learn more about Temperance and the trouble she seems to have found herself in!

I listened to the Audio version of Savage Prince and can’t tell you how many times I was hiding in meeting rooms at work to listen or sitting in my car in the driveway just to find out what happened next. And in typical Meghan March style, I have no answers and can never seem to guess her next step!

I really enjoyed the narrators who were new to me and thought that Grace Grant conveyed Temperance’s personality really well. Grace Grant kept me on the edge of my seat and listening to her made me enjoy Savage Prince all the more!

The plot and characters were incredible, and her plot twists had me reeling and wanting more.

Although the series appears to be a spinoff of Meghan March's Mount Trilogy, it may be read independently. This novel concludes with a bit of a cliffhanger, but I know that Meghan March has more planned.

Overall You will not regret it.

My anger flares and I turn in his arms, meeting his intense stare. “You know what I’m really good at? Proving people wrong.”

Okay, so how do I tell you about a book I can’t really tell you about? I honestly finished this book a couple weeks ago, but I couldn’t find the words to write a review. It’s definitely all the things Meghan has promised – dark, gritty, and even a bit dirtier than the Mount trilogy (If you haven’t read, no worries, but you SHOULD.).

Temperance is an amazing woman. There’s so much about here that just isn’t visible when you simply come into contact with her a few times. Not to mention that to make it from her past, she is one of the strongest women. There’s a lot I envy about Temperance, but also a lot that I’m not sure I could handle — such as meeting up with a stranger who seems about as dangerous as he is attractive and skilled with his … hands. She’s even warned about him, “That man you’re addicted to is smooth, but twice as dangerous.” But how do you keep away from something, or someone, you’ve become almost addicted to.

Now this man … He’s … well we’re given really nothing. We know where he meets Temperance, we know about the danger that radiates from him, and we know that at every turn Temperance is getting warnings about him. Other than that, there’s really nothing. Not. One. Thing. Throughout the whole book! Seriously, I learned so much about Temperance, the business, some of her secrets, but NOTHING ABOUT THIS MAN.

The ending was completely from left field, and now it’s got me wondering if this trilogy can get even better than Mount’s, which I thoroughly, thoroughly enjoyed all the twists, turns, and intrigue. I’m so excited for Iron Princess!

I absolutely loved the Mount Trilogy, so of course when I read this was in the same world, I couldnt wait! Sadly I did wait because I need to have the complete story, I'm not a cliffhanger fan at all if I have to wait for the next book. Now that I have read it! Wow! Such an awesome and intense start!

I adored Temperance, she is sweet and sassy and has a bit of a kinky side to her. She is a hard work and loves her job her boss, but she's missing a little something. When she goes out to meet a possible client and runs into a stranger who introduces her to a world she didnt know she was missing, the sparks go flying.

What was great about this was the mystery of who the stranger was, I like reading Temps POV, she became enthralled with this sexy man and didnt even know his name. Even better is she gets the help form another favorite series from Meghan March, the characters are brought in to help Temp navigate the artistic life she left behind and discover her who mystery man is, I missed this group of crazy girls from the Beneath series.

In the end, it is a cliffhanger, but all the books are out so I'm already digging in. I like the ending though, I'm super curious now because this guy has a dark and sexy side and a dark and dangerous side, seeing very similar to Mount. Cant wait!!

Since I’m now on a streak I couldn’t just not read about Temperance!!
She’s a fave, loved her hard-working persona in the Mount Trilogy and now I love her even more since I know she comes from a completely different background than her boss.

I was kind of let down because we never got to know the guy that’ll become her (hopefully) SO in her books but I still held hope until I read the last chapter haha.

Nice spinoff. And now I’ve gotten to know more girls that apparently all have their own books I could’ve read before this.

Either way now I’ve got to finish Temperance’s story.

The Mount trilogy was amazing, so I couldn't wait to start the Savage trilogy (yes, I waited until all 3 books were released).

Although Temperance was in the Mount trilogy, the Temperance in this series is a totally different woman! When she has a chance encounter with a stranger, you see a different side to Kiera's COO at Seven Sinners.

Saxon lives in the shadows, but he's got it going on. And when he meets Temperance, he's intrigued by her. She's not what he needs, but he can't seem to stay away.

Without spoilers, their stories unfold, and I loved Meghan March's telling of this intro to the Savage trilogy. You get to catch up with those in the Mount trilogy, and meet some new characters I hope continue into the next two books. This story isn't a sweet, sappy fairy tale. It's dark, dirty, and gritty, and I'm hooked. On to book 2!

Really 3 1/2 stars because the H/h relationship takes so long to develop and you don't even find out much about the H until literally the end of the book. We first met Temperance in the Seven Sinners Whisky stories but we learn a lot about her in this book. It could've been condensed some. I liked meeting her new girlfriends who I think are characters from other books by the author. It perked up the book. This book is hard to review because so much of it was foreshadowing for the subsequent novel. I will have to read the next. There are some reviewers who complain about cash grabbing with serials. If I'm entertained and the plot hums along without unbelievable twists I'm okay with it. If it is purposefully rambling to spin out a plot that could be covered in one novel I'm not. I think those speak for themselves. An author can only do this to me once before I consign her to WNR.
