First book - In a nutshell, terribly boring and juvenile. The brothers are all disfunctional and seem to have no love or loyalty between them even though they’re close to each other in age/are twins/triplets - so there is no real emotion there and the boys are really just caricature-esq rich spoilt frat boys. Zero depth and there are dialogues like this - “ His body odor wafts through the air, stirring my loins.”... need I say more??! I have no issues with the ‘kissing cousins’ storyline but I do have an issue paying for a badly written story. The cliffhanger is a bit of a doozy though. My suggestion - avoid.

Second book - more of boring drivel. Masterclass in how not to write a book or series. Literally nothing note worthy happens here and yet there is so much filled into this book to just draw it out into a 3 book series. Also, while I have no issue with the kissing cousins trope, this book literally shows how there is not one person in the entire character universe of this book who has any sort of morals. The parents have always been cheaters (the father in particular takes it to a new level), the hero keeps flip flopping between the heroine and this she devil Addison with no good reason given, the heroine strings the hero’s best friend along even though the hero is supposed to be the love of her life, the brothers are all into shop lifting or sneaking around or cussing out their family or cheating on their so called love interests, the friends are all either weak or prickly - literally not one character who is even somewhat likeable! Ridiculous

Following books in the series - I doubt I’ll buy or read them in a hurry/at all given the standard of the first 2 book. Nothing really appealing about the writing or the plot for me to be interested in reading the remaining in the series.

The Kyler Collection is a trilogy of the first three books in the Kennedy Boys series by Siobhan Davis; Finding Kyler (book 1), Losing Kyler (book 2) and Keeping Kyler (book 3).

“They are far from perfect, but they're my far from perfect” - Faye (describing her relationship with the Kennedy family)

I usually prefer standalone books or series which can be read in any order but Finding Kyler caught my interest straight away from just reading the book description and I'm so glad that I downloaded it as I couldn't put it down. The taboo aspect didn't put me off and the ending left me saying “wow, wow, wow” as I didn't see it coming. I read Losing Kyler that same night because there was no way I'd sleep without knowing what happened to Kyler and Faye next.

Losing Kyler was just as great as the first book and I was really hoping that the couple would finally get a break after having already dealt with so much. Again, I was left needing to know more and couldn't wait for Keeping Kyler, which I pre-ordered, because I wanted this amazing couple to get their much deserved HEA. I also got to learn more about the other Kennedy Boys, including Brad who was Kyler’s best friend and part of the family.

As with the first two books, I was unable to put Keeping Kyler down and was up until the early hours reading because it was just as fantastic. Kyler and Faye still had one final challenge to fight together and this book took me on a real emotional roller-coaster ride, which remained with me for days after as Siobhan Davis gave the reader surprise after surprise.

I totally, completely, definitely, 100% recommend this trilogy to anyone who has not yet read these first three books of the series.

There are further books available in this series; The Irish Getaway (book 3.5), Loving Kalvin (book 4) and Saving Brad (book 5). All of which I've also awarded 5 stars. There are books planned for the other Kennedy Boys and I can't wait!

One of my most favourite 😍 series wrote by a very talented author ✍️ The Kennedy family are hot 🥵 gorgeous, and so fine ….as you read it plays through like a movies 🎥 in your head . The characters are awesome 👏🏼

71% and I'm done! The first book was ok, the second one stretched and now the third book, oh boy! To cheesy, to corny... and the character Kyler is weak and such a sissy. I can not make myself finish this book.

I won't write a fair review of this book, just tell you why I didn't like it and why I didn't finish it.

I couldn't finish this book. I really couldn't. It grossed me out too much, the kissing cousins thing...
For me, a sexual relationship with a cousin is just too gross and I kept thinking "this can't be right, surely one of them is adopted". But nope... I got aproximly to 65% of the book, then I was done. The ick factor too great. And it really felt so wrong reading about these cousins getting it on and calling people who disapproved narrow minded.

If forbidden relationships with a family member is your thing. Then you'll like this book. It could be a cultural thing... I'm swedish and here is super rare to date your cousin. I haven't ever heard of anyone in my circle who's done it.

I guess I'm too narrow minded for the kissing cousins genre.

I read these separately and am posting my reviews here:
Book 1: I didn't start this series at the beginning and now I am going back to catch up. And this book has so much going on with Faye that you will so much sadness for her broken heart. She has lost her parents and is moving from Ireland to live with her only living relative. Her mother's brother is James Kennedy, husband to Alex Kennedy, queen of fashion. And she meets all seven of her cousins that she never knew she had.
Kyler is a brooding alpha male that doesn't acknowledge Faye, doesn't even speak to her. But the more he tries to stay away from her, the more the invisible string pulls them together. He does all he can to protect his brothers and he is beginning to feel that protection for Faye.
How will Faye and Kyler deal with these feelings they have for each other? Will the mean girls at school continue to bully Faye? What will happen with the secret that James reveals in the end?
I have to say that I was not expecting that bombshell that was dropped at the end and I can not wait to read the next one to see what happens. I love author Siobhan Davis and her writing style, she has a way of telling a high school bully story that makes you want to help the one being bullied by climbing in your kindle and slapping the bully upside the head.
*Please note this book contains a forbidden love theme featuring first cousins and a cliff hanger. It is not a standalone read.
Book 2: When I finished Finding Kyler I had to start this one because I needed to know what happened next. But I wasn't expecting that.
Faye and Kyler are still trying to figure out what is real and what is a lie. It seems that most of what she knows is a lie. The only thing she can trust is the feelings she has for Kyler. And that might be wrong too.
This is one hell of a story, it seems that with Alex and James most of it is built on lies or half-truths. I think that Faye coming along has been a good thing for the Kennedy boys but a bad thing for Alex and James because Faye seems to be the only one to see through the lies.
Will Faye and Kyler ever get the happily ever after? Will all the secrets be revealed? Will Faye go after Kyler or accept his wishes and not look for him?
I should have expected the twist and turns in this series from author Siobhan Davis. She is a great storyteller and has a way of keeping you on the edge of your seat until the end or until the cliff hanger, whichever comes first. I need to get Keeping Kyler, book 3 soon. I need to know how it ends for Faye and Kyler.
Book 3: Keeping Kyler picks up where the last one ended with Kyler off on his own to find the shocking truth. People in his family have been keeping secrets and others have gotten hurt. Faye wants to go after him to help him but only his brothers know where he is.
Faye knows the heartache of losing family and finding out about secrets. She wants to be there for Kyler when he confronts his truths. As she learns more about her real father and his family, she has to try to accept them as her new family.
You will not be ready for all the craziness that Kyler, Faye and the rest of the Kennedy clan will go through to get to the end of this book. There are people out to destroy Kyler and Faye to get to Alex because of what she has. It all goes back to insane people thinking they deserve someone else's life.
I really like the suspenseful aspect of this book, it had a sort of who done it factor that had me wondering who and why that kept me reading just to see what was going to happen. And if there was going to be a HEA for Kyler and Faye.
I recommend this series and I hope you enjoy it too. I can't wait to read more from the Kennedy brothers.
