Buen producto, no le doy más puntuación porque viene con enchufe de UK y NO trae adaptador a UE, ni lo avisa en la página del producto. He tenido que comprarlo aparte. Estas cosas, señores de Amazon, como mínimo se avisan en la descripción del producto.

Descaling lets this iron down!

I bought this iron, following rave reviews in July 2019.
I normally buy Tefal.
Until recently it’s been generally ok, but I’ve given it 3 stars as expect it to last much longer than 18 months.
I’ve followed the descaling instructions - and the self clean. The last couple of descale’s haven’t been great, It’s gone through a few self cleans too to try and keep on top of the limescale build up.
Sadly it’s not lasted anywhere near the Tefal’s I’ve had.
I went to descale again a couple of weeks ago, because the steam kicked out so much limescale and discoloured water I couldn’t use it to iron with.
It now won’t clear, and I’m stuck with a terrible limescale block, brown discoloured water has trickled out, the water level doesn’t go down, the steam aspect isn’t working in any shape or form and the iron is now longer heating up to half the temperature, even when on Max!
I have photographed so you can see I have looked after the iron.
I wouldn’t recommend, or buy this iron again.
The gimmicky button cut out aspect is pretty worthless too.

Not the greatest

This iron heats well, has a decent enough cable has an automatic cut off, which I was keen to have. However the extra steam button is in a funny place, and the iron just doesn't iron very well - an important point! It just doesn't 'glide' well. It 'rucks' the material as you go back over items. It does this more frequently and in a way I've not come across. Given a choice, I'd change this for my old one, if I could get it to work!!
It also doesn't have a 'clip' to help wind the cord around the iron and the design doesn't allow for that anyway, I don't think. The cord just ends up in a heap.
In short, not well designed at all.

works but stinks

This iron seems to work well. My main gripe is that it stinks!!! It just smells horrible, as though it's been stored in a damp mouldy cellar for several years (a lot of computer wrist-supports have the same smell). Hopefully it'll wear off eventually.

(Update - now used several times, and still gives off a disgusting stench like damp cellars when in use. There was water in the iron when it arrived, and the assurance is that this is normal, and just remains from testing. But the manufacturer apparently doesn't ensure that the water used for testing is dried out completely before storage. So does the stink result from mould growing in the water compartment? If so, what happens to the spores and crud from the mould when the iron is used? Yecccccch! Don't think that this iron and I are going to be together for much longer.

This is a review on how the item arrived and not based on useage, at this time.
On removing the iron from its packaging, we discovered everything was wet. We thought it might be condensation, but on closer inspection now believe that the iron isn’t a new item, but a return. There are marks on the plastic and it doesn’t look like a new item (as believed on purchasing), at all. I’m not sure where that leaves us, from a consumer perspective? Have I bought a ‘second’ on the belief that I had bought a brand new item?

High end item, but temp control not very good

We purchased this at a big discount (about £30 reduction) off Amazon as, on paper, it looked very substantial and a more 'professional' iron than cheaper ones.
Pros - cord length is excellent, weight is very good (I prefer irons to be heavy), irons at high temps very well, made of high quality materials and has a very professional look.
Cons - Even at low temperatures, more delicate items (eg thinner cotton pyjamas, synthetic t-shirts) stick and the iron doesn't slide over very easily. The steam aspect seems to stop at lower temperatures as well. The water filling hole has a hinged lid. This is very stiff and difficult to open and is also hinged on the wrong side to be opened/filled easily (unless you are left handed!)

The first thing I noticed was how heavy the iron felt,
secondly the handle to hold it was quite large for my hands,
thirdly the dial doesn’t stay where you set it as when you’re holding the iron to use the dial slips easily against your hand so constantly have to readjust.
The plus side is there’s a good size tank to hold water for steaming and it irons very well.
This iron was bought unseen and based on the quality of the maker from previous irons, so to some extent my fault... I wouldn’t have bought this particular model if I’d been in a store to actually pick it up myself.

Super powerful but also super broken after only one year of use

At the beginning I was very impressed by the power of this iron! It heats up very quickly and it DOES get hot! So hot that you really have to be careful with different materials and adjust the temperature accordingly - otherwise it will stick and ruin your clothes, but this is easy to prevent if you pay attention.
The steam is also very powerful but uses up the water very quickly. Also here - not a massive issue and easy to refill.

My issue: shortly after one year of use ran up also the iron gave up. It wasn’t possible to switch it on any more for reasons unknown. I tried to contact the Amazon customer service and was forwarded to the Russell Hobbs troubleshooting / customer service department. After being in line for more than 20 minutes and being forwarded to several people also the line gave in... so in the end I didn’t get a solution and bought a different brand. It is a shame as I would have liked to use the iron for a bit longer..

Bought this in the hope it was better than the one I had. Just had to send it back after three days. The timing on the safety cut out was off by almost double. Once the Iron turns its self on to sleep mode in the upright position on two occasions it just didn’t steam. A total pain in the butt to be honest. Sadly caused me more inconvenience than helped. I’m sure there’s good units out there, bet beware, these are cheap mass produced units and it shows. The foot plate is super thin. The good is the weight, it’s heavy enough to take some of the need to press out of the ironing. You takes ya chances

Disappointing

A little but disappointed with this. The temperature dial has very little in the way of indicator points on it. If you have large hands, you will find that your knuckles move the temp dial whilst ironing. Very annoying. The steam function is not good. Most annoying is that there is no way to store the cord when not ironing. So you have to wind it round the bottom and then hold it to stop it slipping off the bottom when putting it away. Had I looked at the product a bit more thoroughly before I bought it, i probably would have noticed this obvious design flaw.
