Leah and Tyler meet in hilarious circumstances and it's really quite a sweet love at first sight story.
The characters are really likable and this is such an easy read.
There's a couple of twists to try and alter their paths but strong romances always fare better then hate.
Great read, on to book 2.

This is a standalone sweet romance, but also steamy.

I really enjoyed this story. I loved how it was all about them getting to know each other and didn't have a ton of drama or misunderstandings, it was just such a sweet story. How either of them was single was a mystery, but they were perfect for each other.

The writing included lots of humour and conversations (which I love) and I felt like I really got to know the characters well.

I will definitely be reading more from this author and series.

This book feels like home! I was in desperate need of a story that I could just chill with, assured I’d get all the alpha goodness I love as well a tiny touch of drama and all the swoony-ness I desire. I found it here.

The meeting between Tyler and Leah was hilarious, fun, cute and a bit sexy considering what Leah was not wearing. I love when a cute meet leads to a bit of embarrassment on the heroine’s part and that’s exactly what happens. But Tyler is that true alpha hero who knows what he wants when he sees it and he wants Leah. His courtship of her was too incredibly sweet, honest and real to be described. He wanted to work himself into her life and he set out to do exactly that.

”As much as I like just hanging with you, baby, you gotta know it’s killing me not to kiss you or touch you like I want to.”
Oh my God.
“I---“
“I wanted you to get to know me,” he says, cutting me off. “I wanted to be sure before I made a move.”

Obviously, I loved Tyler in all his protective, possessive alpha-ness. He checked every box I have for a perfect hero and some I didn’t know existed. Likewise, Leah was sweet, sincere, a bit leery going in that this guy was real but not to the point of it being an issue between them. She was fierce and independent but capable of compromising when needed and totally able to kick tail when required, much to Tyler’s dismay.

The chemistry between this couple sizzled and ignited to an all-consuming proportion the more time they spent together. As their relationship grew, the emotions of it grew as well and was a palpable thing that ignited across the pages. It was in all the little things that amounted to the total picture of a couple falling in love, embracing it, and dealing with what life threw at them in the process.

”You look amazing. You’re always beautiful and always have a way of stopping my breath and giving it back to me, but right now…” I shake my head. “Jesus, baby, you stop my heart from breathing.”
This is one of those books you’ll find yourself having read in one sitting and then despite the wonderful epilogue, disappointed that you’ve reached the end before you know it. There are some amazing secondary characters including Leah’s family that felt so much like my own I felt like I knew them personally.

No matter how many books by this author I read, I am always amazed at how she wins me over time and time again with amazing characters and feel good stories that make my heart sing. Catching Him was another huge win and I can’t to read more in this series!

I just finished reading one of the funniest, sweetest and just overly perfect love stories I ever had the pleasure to read, Catching Him, from the amazingly talented Aurora Rose Reynolds. When I heard that she was writing another series for Montlake Romance, I was on the edge of my seat waiting to get my hands on it. And let me tell you that it was worth the wait! Aurora nailed this book in every sense of the word and proved once again, why she is the queen of happily ever alpha romance! I wonder every time how she comes up with all these characters and plot lines and always strives to give her readers her best work. I more than enjoyed being immersed into this story about two people unexpectedly finding love in their early thirties. Both didn't play any games and knew exactly what they wanted. I hate nothing more than too much unnecessary drama. But luckily there was nothing like that here!

Leah Emerson is young, beautiful and single. She's a successful hair stylist with an own house and a naughty cat called Mouse. Looking for a man is not high on her priorities list. It's not like all women need a man to be happy, right?! Especially not such as cocky and arrogant Tyler Duncan. This delicious guy is way too charming and sexy for his own good. After a disastrous first encounter, Leah hopes to never see him again. But unfortunately for her, he’s her new neighbor next door and can't be easily avoided. Especially not after he shows up constantly at her door with his cute dog Bruce.

Tyler Duncan was always determined and never had problems going after the things he wanted. He's recently moved from Tennessee for his new job at a construction company. From the moment he meets his stunning neighbor, he decides to make her his. Unfortunately for him, someone else wants Leah too. Tyler will do everything in his power to protect the woman he’s falling in love with, while proving he’s the kind of guy worth falling for. Can their new found happiness prevail against all odds?

Oh boy how much I adored Tyler. He was the epitome of an alpha male: sexy, confident, protective and possessive. And to top that all, he was good with kids and animals. Marriage material anyone?!? I would have said yes to him in a heartbeat. The way he loved and cared about Leah made me swoon hard.

Leah was sweet, compassionate and a little impulsive. But Tyler loved that about her. She was a loyal, gentle soul with a big heart and the best auntie to her niece and nephews. I loved her so much! She deserved a guy like Tyler in her life. Their chemistry was out of this world!!!

Aurora didn't only create two perfect main characters, but also some loveable side characters like her best friend Cassie, her parents and her two brothers! Even the pets were adorable and made me laugh out loud. I strongly encourage everyone to read this amazing book! I promise you, it will be worth your time and money. I'm putting this beauty on my most favorite reads shelf and giving it 5 stars.

Hot Girl Dropping Through The Window

So…these two meet when she literally falls into his window in her tank top and panties….I couldn’t make that up if I wanted to….so funny. I feel like this could be every hot guys dream, having a hot girl fall into their house half dressed…..just sayin. Her cat is quite the escape artist and likes to flee anywhere it can get. She thought his house was still empty, which is also an hilarious part of the conversation. She tries to avoid him after their embarrassing encounter, but he will not be ignored. He just kind of inserts himself in her life, she’s not really great at taking hints, but I just want to say that none of my guy friends hold my hand….just sayin. She may be a little naïve. He is the perfect “friend” before she realizes he really wants a lot more.

This was a safe read, nobody after they start dating. She does go on a date after she meets him, but it was an ex that her mom guilted her into going with...and Tyler and his dog were there waiting for her when she got back. We get some great secondary characters, not including his mom...not a fan of that one at all. As always there is a little suspense, which I love. And I want to add that Leah is a bit of a bada$$. I also wanted to say kudos for their favorite burger being the BOOM...nice touch. These two have a ton of chemistry, we get an epilogue and an hea.

Really enjoyed Leah and Tyler’s story. I love Tyler’s calm personality and how he loves Leah. I love how The author doesn’t have the main characters fighting and breaking up during the story, instead the conflict comes from outside not from trouble in the relationship. Leah and Tyler know how to work out their issues by communicating. Leah is sweet and kind and Tyler takes care of her so lovingly. The story is a feel good one that was a joy to read! Will for sure read more from this author!!

Leah would love to find a nice man and settle down but that has happened yet her mother and grandmother want to see her happy. She meets her new neighbour Tyler when her cat decides to make a run for it and jumps through his window. She thought the house was empty so she climbs in to me met by a very handsome man. Tyler is amused by the stunning half dressed woman and there is more than a spark of interest between them. Its one of those really dreamy love stories that is a joy to read. Nothing too dramatic happens and Tyler is definitely the star.

This was filled with so much sugary goodness. It's low angst, funny with a protective alpha and a sweet heroine that you can't help but love. This is my favorite type of a light read. It's stress free but still delivers what I want in a book.

Tyler is a take charge alpha who knows what he wants and he wants Leah. Leah is a total sweetheart. She's the type of heroine that everyone just loves to be around. She has had some bad luck with past boyfriends and now she is taking her grandma's advice. No more chasing men. If they want her, they have to make a move and Tyler is the right man for the job.

We got so much couple time which I love to see in the books I read. There is also some really great side characters as well as some cute scenes with kids. I highly recommend this book, especially to readers who just want a fun, low angst read.

Recommend this book. 'Holy moly' was phrase was used on page 83, So cute coz one book reviewer uses this phrase. Best book I I've read in a long time. Leah and Tyler 's chemistry is off the charts addictive. Add in love of family. Also refreshing this author tells this love story without the excessive use of expletives. This couple is magical and hot. This author has my respect. v
