The first and most important part of this review is that I 'squid' the sexy Church, so he is mine. Ladies! (It's the 'I licked-it' rule on steroids)

Yes, they are, but by the 15% mark into this monster of a book, I recommend you brace yourself, you poor unfortunate souls, for a plot twist, of all plot twists, that will have you knocked off your feet. But the twist did not stop there. Oh no, that would be too easy for these two ladies.
About halfway through, you'll encounter a lot of, what the hell are they all thinking? NOOOOOO! That's impossible. How could they? Oh, they did it! Will she do it? Of course, she will. Didn't he? Of course, he did.
But with our fierce, headstrong and kicking all men to their knees; the tomboy of the leading lady Alady, who never stopped fighting, even when she found herself in very unpredictable, compromising positions. Poor thing finds herself in a lot of trouble. All the time. I loved it.
At some point in the book, you will wonder who the real villain is, and why do you feel so confused? I was so confused, it was thrilling.
See in this book Frank is so dark and mysterious, yet full of contradictions, a battered soul, looking for something or someone to love him. Having a hard time seeing past grief, and his need for revenge. And the hate for the Russians.
Church, he is our fun-loving, sexy as sin, a wolf in sheep's clothing; he can put on a mask like no other. Giving them a false sense of security, because he definitely can play a long game, and I guarantee you will understand that conundrum at some point in the book.
Danny, Danny, Danny...You are many things, aren't you, Mr Devil? So much to say about him, yet feel like he needs to be your blind spot, go in blind when blind,mes to him. Trust me. You will hate him, love him, what to smack him, most of all. By the end, you will understand him. Nobody puts his 'Bombshell' in a corner, because he'll hurt you. To him, she is everything. But the journey there is worth reading.
You two are amazing, and I am so privileged to be one of the first to read this book. This one will be timeless for me, so I will get the paperback as soon as possible.
