Last opus of the Starcrossed Lovers Trilogy, Restless concludes Lucian and Elaine's story in a sexy whirlwind.

This modern Romeo and Juliet takes us in a revenge path where new friendships are born and family ties aren't worth much but certainly cost a lot.

As Lucian and Elaine grow up in their love, I regret not caring for them and their new life. I enjoyed seeing them stand up for themselves but their arrogance and frivolity lacked of appeal and eventually my reading bubble burst. I had hopes that the storyline would pick up in intensity, unfortunately it disnt happen.

The huge highlight of this installment was a BDSM scene where I could recognized Mrs West's style. She worked her magic, pushed my limits and had me biting my lip.

Please note that I'm aware I am in the minority here, you shouldntotally give a try to this series, I would love to hear your thoughts! Happy reading!

I am working my way through the Constantine-Morelli world and Jade’s trilogy is the 3rd set of books I’m reading. Obviously all of these books have an “unbelievable” air to them. I get that, but this series was so unbelievable I don’t know how anyone could think this was a great story. The first book started off well, but the insta-love and Elaine going from a strong character in the previous two books to an idiot in the last one made no sense.

It was like the author took both MCs and turned them into different people. There was no explanation as to why both families hate each other, the MCs never even speak about why that is. The MCs parents have a lot to answer for and instead of trying to give a bit more backstory it is all ignored and the MCs live happily ever after.

Also, how could Elaine go through all of that when she was younger and not one sibling ever asked what the hell happened after she came back from Reverend Lynch’s school?? In Lessons in Sin by Pam Godwin, Tinsley says that when Elaine came back from the religious school that she wasn’t the same person and she knew something bad had happened. Yet in this book there’s no mention of her siblings being concerned or questioning - they all seem to blindly believe their mother who they all know is a dangerous interfering bitch.

The whole story was a sham and it let down the Constantine-Morelli world that the book is written in.

I liked Tiernan and Bianca’s story a lot and look forward to the last book in that series.

The third and final book in the Starcrossed Lovers trilogy, see our antihero and lover flee towards a new life. I found this book was less intense than the first two and the danger that Lucian and Elaine faced seemed to resolve themselves easily without the hardship I was expecting. Lucian definitely smoothed his sharp edges but he still remained dominant and power oozed from him. His love and the chemistry he has with Elaine heightens and I loved how characters from Ms West’s previous books were seamlessly merged into Lucian and Elaine’s new chapter in life.

Will they get the happy ever after? I’m not one for spoilers and can just say that all the dots are ticked, and no questions remain unanswered. Enter this trilogy with an open mind, expect the unexpected and be ready to be floored by the passion that radiates from these characters.

I floved the previous 2 books in this trilogy and was eagerly looking forward to the finale. Unfortunately it didn’t quite live up to my probably over the top high expectations. It was still well written in the authors unique style that I love but I felt Lucien Morelli lost his edge as a sadistic sexy anti hero and Elaine lost her gorgeous sass as they became more lovey dovey. I also felt she had left one gilded cage for another and was more interested in high option material possessions and frivolity. However it was fabulous to see Masque and the crew once again, that was a highlight for me. I still enjoyed reading it and would recommend the series as Jade West remains one of my all time one click authors

While reading these books I keep thinking how is she going to make it a happy ending. I really want it everything to work out for them and I’m so glad that it does. I won’t spoil it but well thought out book.

Couldn't really see the point of this book it could of been a quarter of the book and put in book two.
Story was dragged out then last chapter rushed .
One minute they are living in London and how great it is then his father says sorry come home and off they go back to America all in the space of one page.
Also there is only so many my princess that I could take.
Feel like I have wasted my money, what started out as an ok read in book one slowly turned into a bore.
