I can feel them crawling through me, slithering under my skin and taking me hostage.

I am frustrated, angry and totally addicted!
I love and I hate!
what is this end ?? I am very angry ...
I don't know what pisses me off the most, the honeyed romance that makes me roll my eyes between Darcy and Orion or the impossible and so frustrating romance between Tory and Darius ...
I love them so much and I'm so angry ...
But the authors are great, they managed to make sure that towards the end we are divided between understanding and frustration and anger !!!
ARGH !!! I am very happy to have the sequel immediately ...
I really recommend it's great
I'm angry, and sad, and I'm crying and all these feelings!
I don't know if it's just with me but I thought Tory was kind of annoying from the beginning until she made up with Darcy (it was probably because of the shadows), but yeah, I don't know, it was weird.
Last book I felt sad about Seth but he's just an *******! I hate him today. Karma's a ***** (I hope).
Max and Geraldine had me laughing out loud every time. She's just hilarious and couldn't care less about him, and he keeps trying like he has a chance (maybe he does? Who knows?).
Darcy and Orion are still my faves but that ending had me bawling, like WTH? He better not be dead. My heart couldn't stand what happened.
And Tory and Darius! Again, WTH? I knew they were Elysian Mates and I was so ready for that but then Tory rejected him and I totally understand why, but at the same time I was so hoping she would kiss him and when she didn't I just stopped breathing. Like can they have a re-do or something please?
Ugh, definitely cannot wait to read ZA5.
I don't fell this much emotions for every book.
From joy, laughter, heartache, frustration, anger and a massive cliffhanger.
I could not put it down
Tory and Darius had finally intimate moment but they are intertwined with hatred.
During the first part of the book all I was was happy, laughing at the situations and the characters joke and interactions, but as the story goes on I quickly felt anxiety with some other situations, frustration for certain character, " Come one dont do this, say this". Then sadness to what happens.
This was such a rainbow of emotion.
I couldn't put it down even with the ending, I had to know what happen and now I hav a big heartache, I can't wait for book 5.

This review contains spoilers.
This book left me emotionally exhausted, it is a rollercoster of emotions with laugh out loud and heart warming to the ending which is heart wrenching and devastating.
Like all books in the series, this book picks up where the last book ended.
So much happens in this book! the character developments cause you to question and revalue your opinions from the last books.
I was pleased to find out Diego wasnt evil and did not expect the reveal about his hat and his family, am looking forward to finding out what his order is.
Geraldine and max are hilareous, Darius and Tory give into the sexual tension and have some very hot sex moments but my favourite are Darcy and Orion. I love the development of their relationship and the bond that develops between Tory and Orion. One of the sweetest moments in the book is when Tory and Orion are bonding and you see how happy it makes Darcy.
Regarding the heirs this book will make you route for Darius, feel indifferent to Caleb and Max and hate Seth with a fire of a thousand suns. Seth is now irredeemable to me and I hope he gets his karma later for this.
This is also the first book which shows a test of the bond between Darcy and Tory and you will find yourself yelling at them to just talk! They also find out more about their parents when they are at the palace and it is in this book for the the first time you start to see them come into their own, to stop denying the throne and who they are.
Alongside all this is Gabriel, giving you teaser glimpses into his identity and into how it will play out in the dark fae series. You see a different, happier side to him and it makes you eager to find out what happens in his story with Orion and Elise.
Finally the ending. There is a divine moment here with Tory and Darius which shocked me completely. It seemed much too soon for them and it leaves you heartbroken though it is understandable. You understand why Tory made the decision she did but at the same time its such a final thing.
The very ending had me reeling, Orion bleeding out and dying in Darcys arms after saving clara who then drained him of blood. The authors certainly didnt pull any punches with the double whammy ending. It will leave you feeling emotionally drained and took me awhile to fully process everything that happened which is why I love this book. The way the authors suck you in is fantastic and I am even more excited for the next book to see how it all plays out.

Zodiac Academy by and
I’m not even going to summarise this one because 𝙬𝙝𝙖𝙩 𝙩𝙝𝙚 hell?! I can’t…I just…I mean…what the actual living hell???
I had a feeling Tory would answer the ending the way she did. She’s the most self-destructive and stubborn character I’ve read in a while. She’s wonderful, and loyal, and funny, and sassy, but just keeps making the wrong decisions all whilst knowing that’s what she’s doing.
But the biggest WTF moment was the whole Orion thing! It just came out of nowhere and I am not ok!!!
Please tell me there’s a time travelling spell where the last few chapters can be erased in the next book?
I’m meant to be stopping the series to read an ARC now but after that ending there’s just no way I can stop!
The best bit about this book that didn’t have me crashing into oblivion at the end? Geraldine. I keep forgetting to say it but she is honestly the most refreshing and delightful character. She hasn’t deviated from her character at all since the first book, but my perception of her has. She was annoying and cringeworthy at first but now I look forward to her interactions. Love her random phrases as well!
But back to my pit of despair…I’ll say it once more for those in the back…WHAT THE HELL?!!
🤤🤤🤤

Honestly, I wanted to only give it one…but that has nothing to do with the story itself, but to do with the actual printing done by Amazon. The quality of the printing is shocking as well as the formatting. I was barely a few pages in when the gloss on the paperback cover started to peel and the pages started to come from the spine. I understand that this is nothing to do with the author, hence the four stars, but Amazon, I’m highly disappointed. It actually feels like I’ve been robbed in a sense. I understand a book this size has high printing costs and of course the authors need to mark it up to make a living, but when you’re paying close on £20 for a paperback book you really expect better quality than this. Amazon you really need to do better.

So yea all the feels again
Now the girls are awakened they have to get a grip on their powers and the shadows
So much tension
More plotting and schemes it’s all very stressful

The ending was so good, even though I hated how it ended up with Darius and Tory, I was so pleased that she stayed true to herself and didn’t forget how he’d treated her. Even though it broke my heart a bit! I did struggle with how stubborn Tory is but I don’t think it would’ve been right for her to just take a leap of faith and forget everything. She’s just not wired that way!
The Clara storyline is worrying so I can’t wait to dive into the next book to find out what happens.
