Each of the recipes is accompanied by Joe’s beautiful photography , which , encourages you to make these wonderfully tasty recipes.
The book arrived with me yesterday on its publication day , today I made some fantastic Potato Boulanger, the recipe can be found in the chapter of the book called ‘ Potatoes Carrots & Beetroot ‘ . Do make it , it’s delicious..
The book is laid chapters for the various commonly used vegetables ,for example , onions and Leeks , Squash and Pumpkin , etc .
Ingredients in the book are easy to get hold in most supermarkets .
The method describes how to go about making and assembling each dish is a strait forward unfussy way.
I intend to cook my way through the book as vegetables come into season .I know I won’t be disappointed.
Please don’t be put off buying this book as it’s a vegetarian cookbook , the recipes would stand happily on any dinner table and could happy be served alongside other non-vegetarians dishes .

I'd tried a recipe from this book which was in a review, so was keen to order the book.
Thankfully it's as good as I'd hoped!
This is a nicely laid out hardbacked book with plenty of colour photography.
Recipes are grouped by main ingredients.
I won't repeat all the listing blurb, it's accurate and says it better than I can!
Out of the recipes we have tried so far the mushroom stroganoff is my favourite.
It's quite different to ones I've made or ordered in the past, and better for it.
Very easy to make, and much lighter, not the usual quite rich redder versions.
Definitely recommend. We both love it.
Partner omits the creme fraiche for his, and says it's still delicious.
This is my current favourite recipe book and I'm happy to recommend.

This book is perfect for such a dilemma. Easy, straightforward recipes for vegetables cooked in interesting ways I would never think of myself. One of my favourite features of the book is that it's ordered by vegetable instead of courses. How often do we have a certain vegetable in our fridge and don't know what to do with it! This book is perfect for such a dilemma. Easy, straightforward recipes for vegetables cooked in interesting ways I would never think of myself. I already made his cabbage gratin for Easter and it was the star of the show.
I should mention, we are not a vegetarian family but enjoy these dishes so much!



I have already done two, easy and tasted splendid.
Heartily recommended!
