I've been thrown into the den of a monster.
I once thought one of my ruthless boys could be the killer I’m hunting. They’re all dark, deadly and more than capable of brutality.
But now I’m held by the King I’ve been stalking in the shadows and when I unmask him, he’ll realise he made a huge mistake in taking my brother from this world.
My Kings are coming for me, I know that in my soul. They’re on their way to rip me from my enemy’s arms and tear him apart for me.
My heart beats to the sound of their names.
But I won’t wait around to be rescued. Everything has led me to this moment and I’m ready to destroy the Fae who stole my brother from me.
Secrets will be uncovered. Destiny will be decided. Death will deliver us all in the end.
No one will escape the conclusion of this story without blood on their hands. I guess it’s a good thing I’m a Vampire then, because I just so happen to have a taste for blood.

I thought I hadh review in my head but oh boy, it won't do justice to the awesomeness and perfectness of this book. I have clear sentence in my head, but they aren't in the right order, by what should I begin, what should I say next? And furthermore, how can I can everything I have in one single review without forgetting pieces.
Let me tell you a few things about this book : This book was everything. I don't cry often for books but all I can say here is it's seems to become a standard with Caroline and Susanne books. I laugh so much my cheeks were hurting but I also cried enough to fill a jar or readers tears and if this tears are what gave us so many great books by our celestial authors we will have them coming for along time and I certainly provide them with more even if they tear my heart out of my chest, step on it, put it in a mixer with shard of glass and gravels and then give it back to me with a bottle of glue. You may say crying in a book is bad news when in fact it's a good thing. It's the sign that you care about the characters, the universe created in this books, you care so much that all your emotions are showing (the good emotions and the bad), it's the sign of a really great book, a book I will harass all my friends to read because I know they will love it.
This was once again a roller-coaster of emotions, it's not a smooth ride, you will need to buckle tight.
The guys in this were, oh my, I don't have words, the dynamic was just... everything I wanted.
Were all the questions answered.
Did we finally know who king is? A man? A woman? Or maybe a cat? Who knows? Well I do but you will need to read if you wanna know.
And last as someone who read the other series in Solaria, I loved how everything was linked together. Seeing them talk about situations that would unfurl in Zodiac Academy and Darkmore penitentiary and knowing how it happened, the outcome kinda felt like having the Sight.
I understand how Gabriel feel for some visions when he is like do this, do that, if you do that this will happen, it's how I felt with this convos.
Sorry the previous point wasn't the last, but I said before my thoughts weren't in order, I might think of things to add about this books as I write my review, what I wanted to say is mere hours after finishing reading I already want to re-read, I want to re-read ruthles boys, Zodiac and darkmore, I need my fix as I am sad this was the last one, i need my fix of this world and characters.

Elise and her Kings really brought their A-game. Leon's funny personality always brings the light to sticky situations and makes me cackle at every page. Ryder really started to come out of his shell and shed some layers like an onion, which I bloody loved! Dante seemed to be so much more carefree when he solidified his place in the group and well Gabriel. My heart literally broke multiple times for the hurdles he had to jump but his journey was so worth it. Then there's Elise and she is just a Queen for being able to handle four completely different personalities and mood swings while trying to find Gareth. I take my hat off to her.
Those epilogues tied up this series so beautifully. My heart is so full at the minute but also sad because it's finished and I don't think I'm ready to give Elise and the King's up. Thankfully I'll still see them around in the other series and from the way the story was left I am so excited to see what chaos they cause later on down the line.

She was so extremely selfish !!
While reading book 5, I wondered more than one “ does she really love them?” It often seemed that she loves them when it suits her, often use them for her own happiness while ignoring their wishes .
The ways she kept pushing them to make out with each other when she clearly knew they are not into it, was disgusting. When Leo was ready to do it just to make her happy, she should’ve stopped him because she knew he doesn’t really wanna do it. But did she? Nope she didn’t because she didn’t really cared, all she cared was to get what she wants.
When she found her dad, again she showed how selfish she is and thinks only about herself. He was captured for so many years and didn’t even knew he had daughter . It was absolutely normal for him to ask so many questions and want to make up for lost time. And what she did? Ignored him because a SHE felt overwhelmed by all his questions and him trying to get to know her. Like seriously?
I know at the end she get over herself and gave him chance, but it was selfish from the very beginning not to try understand him more.
Now for the very end, I enjoyed this series but I’am also happy it’s ended. I love sisters books but they tend to drag book more than it’s needed , it always starts good but with every book going forward , plot is dragged more and more, books being filled in with more and more smut which I think is only to help drag the plot. Don’t get me wrong I love their books , but I wish they would care more about quality than quantity

This book was a never ending cycle of questions; Will the relationship work with all of the BDE, will Gabriel’s eyes get that magical silver ring, will the Oscura Dragon and the Lunar King ever have peace? Are they destined to get the Elysian Mate bond too? Well I could answer these or I could tell you that this book is a beast. It is the thickest book I’ve read and it took me days to finish! But after everything, it was fantastic. I couldn’t put it down.
As much as I love a thick book and everything this writing duo put out, I will say that this book probably pushed me to my limit. Everything that’s included makes sense for the story, I just personally felt like it was taking me hours to read 3% of a book. And whilst the writing was brilliant I would have been satisfied with a lower page count.

Seriously what was even the point in those extra chapters
Should have released them separately
Sevrage chapters really annoyed me with this one especially the Gabriel chapter in the bar where I nearly quit the series
Far too much mush and way too long
But we did have all of our characters it was a bit predictable but I’m glad of the choices they made plot wise
Leon was hilarious and really saved this book for me
Just a shame because I’ve loved the rest of the series and still excited to see more it just needed cutting down more

Sometimes when I read a series I am scared about the way the last book is written but this one was just perfect. I went through a full range of emotions while reading. You get happy moments, great steamy times, lots of laughs, heart-stopping scenes, twists and a few tears. In the end, I didn’t get everything I wanted but I got what the story needed.
The characters have grown so much since the first book, especially Elise, Ryder and Gabriel. Can you believe there was a point I did not like Gabriel and I was absolutely in love with him in this book? Also, Gabriel’s Sight was one of my favourite things and it gets a lot of importance in the plot. Leon continues stealing my heart, I love his fun and caring personality. Dante and his faetalian are also unforgettable!
This is one of my favourite series I have ever read together with Zodiac Academy and Darkmore Penitentiary which are set in the same world. I highly recommend those if you haven’t read them. I am glad to know that I might see some characters appearing in these other series, so this is not a goodbye, it is a see you later!
