Waiting on God in silence, stillness and expectation will position you to sense, hear and see His presence, power and direction in your life like never before. Take 30 days and add waiting to your prayer time and you’ll be convinced, it’s worth it to wait on God.
In this book, Waiting on God, we learn that the answers to all these questions are found in His presence. There is a scripture that says if we draw nigh to Him, He will draw nigh to us. Isn't it time we set aside our agenda to spend time in His presence?

À propos de l'auteur

I am an "ordinary" guy who discovered how real God is. Once I realized that all of the things that the Bible talks about are still available for believers today, my relationship with God took on a vibrancy that I never had known before.
Miracles and angelic visitations became the new standard for my Christian experience and I began to journal everything that God was (and is) doing. My books are born out of my new living relationship with God. I am impassioned to share with everyone who ever heard the old Bible stories and wished that God still did those things, that He still does and He will do them with and through YOU!
Life with God is meant to be an adventure! Sitting in church once a week and trying to be a good person is a poor trade off for what being a child of God is really all about! I pray you will be curious enough to find out!
Blessings!
Michael

Michael van Vlyman presents a solidly Biblical argument and plea for His people to seek His face in a new way.

I will encourage anyone reading this book to not just read it but practice what you read.

I don't know how truthful the book is, not knowing the author, or how much hyperbole there is in it. But if half of the things he says is true then I am concerned. His experiences are exactly the same it seems as those who do Astro projection (travelling in the spiritual realm, like flying etc), and he says things like "I cannot say how many times I opened my eyes to find an angel staring into my eyes." And he says that the spiritual realm was breaking into his house and that his wife saw an angel walking across the room, and his children were seeing angels. As a pastor I have helped many people with manifestations in their houses and they weren't angels, even though they appeared like people etc. So, how does He know they were angels? No one in the Bible or outside of the Bible in history had the continuous spiritual experience of travelling spiritually, seeing angels, God speaking to him as the author claims. That doesn't mean that he is not telling the truth, it does mean that I would be very cautious.
I am not anti-experiencing God in any way, but my experiences of helping many people make me cautious here. The spiritual realm is very real, and there aren't just angels in it. He is at pains to separate what he does from anything eastern, and I think some christian's complete rejection of waiting on God is wrong. But, im not at all sure that this man and his family is having godly, Christian, experiences. The scriptures he uses do not validate these experiences and I am concerned for him, his family, and anyone else who follows him. I suspect he is sincere, but sincerity and experiences are not the same as discernment. This man is not infallible just because he has experiences; many people have experiences of all kinds. I would say proceed with caution, but what I would say instead is turn to the likes of Tozer and Andrew Murray instead. Sorry to be negative.

Thank you Mr Vanvlymen your ceiling may well be my floor! praise God!
