Bonne histoire mais un peu prévisible

J’ai aimé l’histoire, mais j’ai trouvé le début un peu lent a démarrer avant qu’on comprenne ce qui est en place entre Piper, son meilleur ami Preston, et son frère Calvin.
L’histoire est mignonne, chaude, tendre et j’ai aimé le personnage de Calvin, très, très patient, aussi bien par rapport à Piper, mais aussi par rapport au comportement de son frère.

The story starts when Piper tells her best friend, Preston, that she loves him, he does not reciprocate and Piper ends up being comforted by Preston's brother, Calvin. It creates crazy situations between the three. The story is funny, sweet, hot, fast-paced and just a great read. I cannot wait for the rest of this new series.

I was pulled into the story right from the beginning, stayed there until I had read the last word written. All the while my little mini movie is playing in my head.
This story is packed with surprises, some large, some small, some you will see coming and others you won't, but they all aide in making the book the awesome read that it is.
The emotions that all the characters go through can be felt, from the start of the book to the end of the book, I actually went through the emotions with the characters, and wouldn't want it any other way.
I did get a little frustrated a couple of times with the main male characters, and really wanted to hit him, but he redeemed himself and I still love him.
I highly recommend this book, it is one of those books that will stay with you for a long long time.
This is the first book of Alexis Winter's I have read. I am so pleased I decided to read it as it is brilliant.

I really enjoyed this book after reading the snippet I thought I may not like the 2 men / brothers loving her but it worked out better than I thought.
Nice love story with just a little drama and Calvin & Piper make a great couple and I like the fact Preston has a book out soon.
I was peeing myself laughing at the MAGLITE bits and in the kitchen afterwards with the sausage and their Moms... absolutely creased 🤣
This is a good enjoyable book I would recommend.

A lovely story of best friends Piper and Preston. Together since they met at five, always there for each other. Piper is convinced she loves him, and goes on a reality show to share her secret with him. It all goes wrong, so Preston’s older brother Calvin is there to help Piper over her heart break. A sweet happy book, just what l needed.

Wow! This book is incredible, the storyline had me hooked from the beginning, could not put it down. Loved that through it all Piper, Preston & Calvin were able to maintain their relationship with one another. Beautiful happy ending & epilogue! Definitely one to recommend

A book that I thoroughly enjoyed. Has all the qualities I love in a book.great characters, flowing story with a good amount of laugh out loud moments, and heat. So much heat. Look forward to reading the next one.
