And Cora does it again : another amazing book! In this series we discover the world of the Camorra (Las Vegas mob). They are ruthless and rule with no mercy. I really loved the story (arranged marriage are my fave 😍). I loved getting a glimpse in the Camorra. Kiara is a very strong woman and she’s nice. The end just left me wanting more !

I think I love the Falcone family so god damn much, Nino and Remo craziness is consuming my soul, their past was traumatic and gave birth to two f up MadMen I like it to much.

In another hand there is Kiara Vitiello an elegant dark sweet angel, she drain you and captive you because of her past. My heart throbbed and swelled, I love character evolution, Both Nino and Kiara change love always win even in Mafia story.

I thought I was a Vitiello woman but I made a big mistake, I’m a Falcone in my heart and soul. I’m a Falcone sorry not sorry Vitiello I love my man with 100% of craziness

I enjoyed this story. I liked both main characters, Kiara Vitiello and Nino Falcone. Both had baggage from their pasts but had managed to see through the darkness and find something in each other. A good gritty story. I really didn’t want to like the Camorra as I loved Luca and Dante in the bound by blood series but they are growing on me. Nino Falcone is loyal, to the Camorra but especially to his brothers. Kiara, her own parents taken from her at a young age, her father the traitor to the Famiglia and then having to live in the background with another family.
Her only way out was to be married off.

This book jumps straight into Nino and his brother's discussing peace between the Camorra and the New York Famiglia.

Nino, who's a genius, monster, and doesn't show or feel emotions. His brother Remo, Capo of the Camorra has put him up for an arranged marriage with one of New York Famiglia's eligible women, to offer peace and safe passage through their territory and also to bring down the Outfit.

Kiara, a traitors daughter and Luca, the Capo of the New York Famiglia cousin. Which Luca killed her Father, who was the traitor. Luca then places Kiara in the care of one of their Aunt and Uncle.
But the whispers and disgusted side looks that Kiara gets in their society stings. As she's learned from a young age to hide her emotions and not speak out of term. Her father hit her and she was abused by one of her other Uncles. She only confided in her cousin and swore her to secrecy. And didn't dare bring it to Luca's attention for fear that he wouldn't believe her.

Nino and Remo, his Capo and brother find out about Kiara's secret on their wedding night, and let's say they did not like it and did what they had to. Because Kiara's now a Falcone now.

Kiara still feels broken, dirty and feels like Nino should give her back, due to her not being what was promised. Nino doesn't care for the Famiglias traditions ect. In his own way he wants to help Kiara overcome what she's been through.

The emotions are high in this book. I really felt for Kiara, and Nino really does try his best. I did shed a good few tears.
Can they both get past their demons that haunt them?
Will they heal each other?
I can wait to see what's going to come next.
Will the Camorra pull off their plan to strike out at the Outfit?

I wasn't sure how I'd feel about this book as I didn't particularly like the Camorra or the Falcones in the first book in this series but this exceeded my expectations.

A lot of the drama did happen at the beginning of the book but I wasn't upset that the rest of the book just let us get to know the Falcone brothers better.

Nino is amazing, despite being unfeeling, I really enjoyed his reasoning and attitude to most things. Just a was a little broken and I'm glad that she was able to understand and reclaim her power as a person with Nino's help while also helping him with the demons he didn't realise he had. All in all, loved this story!!

loved this book so much. The plot was fantastic, the characters and their development was beautiful and the story was enthralling. Nino and Kiara’s relationship was everything! I love how they flourished together, how Kiara grew in confidence and battled her demons and Nino was patient and a rock in helping her get there while he himself dealt with the emotions Kiara stirred in him. It’s a testament to the authors writing to be able to portray such a character who lacks emotions in a way that he is actually adored by the reader and was captivating. All round great read and one of my favorite mafia books to date.

Nino falcone a man who feel no emotions who is cold and calculating to the eye.
Kiara vitello a women who hides her broken and scared self in a secret.
Nino is to marry kiara to bond the famiglia and the camorro in a truce, it's just a simple transactions in his eyes.
Kiara knows she needs to marry Nino to wright the wrongs her farther did that follows her around, but her secret may come out in the process.
She was right the secret come out on her wedding night but it doesn't go as she thought it would.
but on that night a bond unknown to Nino and kiara starts to form a bond so strong the unthinkable happens feeling appear.

This is an incredible book I loved the patients Nino holds. The trust kiara forms their story is emotional and beautiful.
