I am a big fan of Sara Cate and loved her last novella offering, Spitfire, which became Burn For You, one of my five star reads of 2021. I would love to see this priest/almost nun forbidden love story fleshed out more as she did previously but in saying that this little tidbit packed a punch. Definitely recommend it.

What in the name of God did I just DEVOUR?!?! It was slightly insane and a helluva lotta spicy and I was HERE FOR IT!! Definitely felt the F thrown in at the end was unnecessary as the MMM more than carried the story for me but I wouldn't dock any stars for that! My first Nyla read but it won't be my last. How in earth she managed to pack so much punch into a short story like this is beyond belief!!
Read it!!

Dirty Secrets by Ivy Wild and Thandie

I really enjoyed this forbidden Insta love story which was in the ex boyfriends dad trope. Honestly, I'd be all over that Daddy too cause he was hot as all get out. The sister storyline was well done too. What an absolute cow!! Who needs enemies when you've a sister like that!!! Definitely recommend this if daddy kink and great chemistry are your thing!!

Nicki hasn't been lucky in the love department. Her younger sister, Valerie, thinks for herself, spoilt, winds Nicki up to get her own way, sure she hates that her sister does this to her, but she's all the family she has, due to losing their parents young, and Valerie betraying her in the most horrible way, she still loves her.
So here she is sitting in a pub, putting it off wanting to spend Christmas with her sister. She hooks up with a guy, who also isn't all that keen on spending time with his family.
Morning after she's hit with a shocking surprise. But the gut punches keep on coming. She holds herself even though she's crumbling inside.

I felt so much for her, I cried.
Nicki and James are great! They suit each other perfectly.

Unwrap Him - Nyla K. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

It’s MM (shock) and it’s a Guardian/Ward romance, novellas like this are one of my favourite reads. They’re full of spice and definitely something to keep me warm over this colder season!

James’ life was turned upside down when he became the legal guardian of Jesse, he wasn’t a parent, he was barely even an adult. But he took his responsibilities seriously and tried to give Jesse the best life he could with everything he could. James has always been a very fatherly figure to Jesse, until one Christmas Eve changed the way he viewed everything.

Jesse is adorable and I just love him so much. He has been in love with his guardian since he knew he liked men, and has tried his hardest to keep his feelings to himself in fear of losing the one person he has as family. Let’s just say he gets his Christmas wish…

This novella is perfect for the holidays, full of Christmas traditions and obviously absolute filth that we all know and love about this author’s writing. I’m SO excited to read the full anthology after I put my Christmas decorations up this weekend.

I loved the whole anthology! I picked this up because a few of my favourite authors have work in it but I didn’t expect to leave with more favourite authors. Each story is amazing and I loved having the different authors writing style and stories all in one book! A few of the stories were prequels and I’m so excited for the next release from the author so I can read about the characters!
Definitely worth a read if you love taboo romances!

I have read this entire anthology and it is by far the best taboo anthology I have ever read. Not every story is a complete short or novella but each on packs a punch

It's not often I say this but each author has delivered a deliciously taboo story that will grab your attention from the 1st to the last words. The world building, tension and steam is just perfection
