With a gambling wastrel for a brother, Elise knows she must marry. It will be to either the wealthy man who will pay the huge debts or as a mail order bride. The choice is a hard one, but easily made. She's on the first train West to a new, uncertain life.
Shane and Roscoe aren't seeking a wife. But when they rescue a beautiful woman who is unskilled in the rugged ways of the Montana Territory, their minds are quickly changed. Elise is the one for them. The one they will share together in the Bridgewater way. Unskilled in all things a wife should know--in and out of the bedroom--the two men patiently teach her, to everyone's pleasure and satisfaction.
Trouble finds Elise and will destroy everything she and her husbands have forged together. Elise might be an accidental bride, but will Shane and Roscoe risk everything to save the woman they love?

The Bridgewater Brides series are short, MFM or MMFM (no M/M) stories with a touch of spanking and discipline. This one is not as saucy as Ms. Dawson’s usual stories, but steamy enough. I thoroughly enjoyed it. I volunteered to review an ARC of this book through Booksprout. If you like short and steamy stories, give this one a try.
Ms. Dawson does an exceptional job carrying on the Bridgewater stories. She stays true to the themes set forth in Vanessa Vale’s original series. This book was well-written. Her characters are well-developed. This includes both her primary and secondary characters. The main characters are strong, determined, focused, confident yet vulnerable. They grow as the story progresses. I enjoyed her use of strong dialog. I thought the use of a three-person point of view to tell this tale was great. One point of view is Elise’s. The others include Shane and Roscoe’s point of view. Ms. Dawson’s use of descriptive language paints vibrant scenes. For example, Elise’s kidnapping adventure ratcheted the plot tension. It further speaks to her strength of character. The scenes describing the burning of the blacksmith’s shop and the way the Bridgewater community bonds together to overcome adversity speaks volumes. Scenes like these draw readers into her story while endearing her characters to readers. Well done, Ms. Dawson
