The Rebel Livres audio Audible – Version intégrale
An all-new, sizzling stand-alone romance from New York Times best-selling Author Kendall Ryan....
Six years ago, Eden barged into my life and turned everything upside down.
We spent one scorching-hot night together, and then she disappeared into the sunset with the golden jock everyone adored. Which makes sense, right? A girl as beautiful and brilliant as Eden Wynn doesn’t end up with a rebel like me.
I expected them to live happily ever after, but that's not what happened. She's back in my life - and tempting me like no one else has. And while I'm certain I'll only tarnish her shine, I want her.
I'd heard the old notion that one night held the power to change everything. I just never believed it.
I’m public enemy number one.
Turns out, the East Coast is protective of their hockey team and very vocal about not wanting a young female owner. Well, too bad, because this team is all Grandpa Wynn left me, and I have no intention of walking away.
Enter my new head of security, Holt Rossi. My history with him is...complicated. Chemistry reignites between us while the world waits for me to stumble.
He’s supposed to protect me - but who will protect my heart from him?
Warning: This romance contains one growly, broken hero; a bunch of rowdy hockey players; and a smart, hardworking heroine whose life hasn’t been all sunshine and rainbows. This is a no-cheating, scorching-hot love story with a guaranteed HEA.

The Rebel follows the story of Eden and Holt. They first met in college and meet again as adults when Holt is hired as security for Eden in her new role as owner of NHL team the Titan’s.
This is a sports romance with a bodyguard trope too. There’s chemistry between the characters which had lingered since they knew each other in college. The beginning of the story tells of how the two met however thats the only flashback section of the book.
Unfortunately this one was missing a spark for me. There were a few times where I felt the continuity wasn’t quite right or where swathes of important storyline had been passed over, especially towards the end. I would have loved to see more of the development between the characters and wonder if it had been all from one characters POV we might have seen that.
Six years previously she had unexpectedly hook-up with Holt in his room. There was some chemistry. At the college party she had actually aimed to win hockey player Alex Braun over. She had saved herself for him. But he had been grabbed by someone else. And the next morning Eden left Holt asleep. She left, leaving a note of regret. She did not say goodbye. Was he only second best? Would she ever see him again?
Months later, Eden did get a relationship with Alex and they were exclusive for six years. And he was signed to play in her hockey team prior to her grandfather's death. But now she is single after an acrimonious and a very media separation. And she has to cope with opposition about her ownership from fans and some players. And her lack of management experience.
So how will Eden and Holt react at seeing each other again? Will their working status create harmony or angst. Well read this intriguing book and find out more...
