good fast paced story

Its been too long since I read one of Sandi's fab stories (and that's on me...)

I really enjoyed meeting Jackson and mily, their no nonsense attitude.

What a great storyline, with no exceptions, no misconstrued promises and no intentions...

Emily was brought up, with hearing her Mother warn her to not fall in love, although she never gave a reason.

Jackson was also hardened to not having a deep and meaningful relationship either, after watching his parents marriage fail.

They undertake a contract on being companions, unfortunately everybody could see what was happening, even if they didn't they were both in denial.

They navigated everything quite well, but in the end the heart gets control and you can't stop the feelings.

Jackson's parents threw a curveball onto the proceedings and that made Jackson re think things, although he was hell bent on keeping his and Emily's negotiation in place.

Emily tried so hard to keep her feelings at bay, and to some extend so did Jackson, you got the feels as a reader, it was fun watching them both realise that they did in fact have feelings, and when Emily discovers something, she struggles with deciding the best plan of action, sadly she gets caught up in something terrible, which does make Jackson work out his true feeling, there is a trail of destruction, but they do finally work out that there is indeed a greater plan for them both.

Great page turner. loved this..

If you like reading Sandi Lynn books then you won't be disappointed.
It's not been out a week and I finished it in three days I couldn't put it down.
Laughter and tears (happy tears I may add).
Love to read more about Jackson and Emily. Well done yet again Sandi xx

Funny and Fabulous!!

I read this book from cover to cover and loved every page. The characters were great, Jackson is a dreamboat and Emily is feisty and knows what she wants or thinks she does. The other characters are also great and what I loved was even though this is a romance between the main characters the sub-plots are just as interesting. I can't wait to read more from this author..

I didn't particularly like either main character, and felt like there was absolutely no chemistry. Everything in the book felt stated, not engaging. I was unable to form any emotional feeling with the characters, their motives, feelings or even their relationships and interactions with others.

I totally forgot Sandi Lynn's writing style until I started the book. Short, stunted sentences made for a boring read. Only read all the way through as I'd paid for the download.
