This was a one heck of a twisted love triangle. But I’m not surprised because this is why I love reading K Webster’s books. The Tangle of Awful started as a slow burn but when it progressed it was scorching hot and with a great plot at the end. Definitely highly recommend this!!!

Um… I’m not even sure where to go with this review! Sigh, this book started out, so hot, so amazing, so taboo, that I settled in for a fun, näughty ride!! in the beginning, it delivered all that it said it would, for sure! This did the theme of the book all the way through until about 90% in on things took a drastically, horrible turn.
Watching the dynamic of Hugo Spencer and and Aubrey as the weaved their way, through their twisted, naughty taboo relationship, was amazing, and kept my attention all the way through. The noddy parts were SUPER smëxy K. Webster delivered as she always does. Those scenes burned up my Kindle without fail, and I was blushing and fanning myself, like a metronome, every single scene. Watching them fight their initial attraction because they knew it was wrong in their own individual Waze? Just wow! Once they finally succumbed to their needs and became one unit things seem to settle down for the most part.
Enter mama Nina, who has disappeared and not been a part of the story at all we’ve been looking for her since the beginning of the book. You have your traditional mystery whodunit where is she? How do we find her etc. etc. and all of that makes sense and goes along with the taboo nature of the story, until about the 90% mark. *************

This is where the story takes a WTF left that completely threw me out of the novel and brought me abruptly back to reality! Starting with the kidnapping of Aubrey and ending with the mother being pregnant and having a baby by Spencer?! I mean, I totally did not see that coming, but that doesn’t surprise me, as it just does not fit with the tone of the rest of the story. Why in the world did the author take us that route I am completely lost and just do not have a good taste in my mouth left with this ending. I’m not going to bash it as the story is toted ass taboo. Thus, why I ended up giving it three stars instead of the one I really wanted to.
All in all, this was a decent book as K. Webster is unable to release anything but. This particular one just happened to not to my tastes. For the first time ever did I not love one of her books, this does not mean I won’t continue to read this lovely author. One not so great book won’t scare me off!

This story just sucks you in and throws you right into their messy, toxic, and taboo life. There's a huge secret that Spencer is keeping from everyone that will shock you once you realize what it is.

The tug and pull between Hugo, Aubrey, and Spencer makes your feelings confused but you just can't help it and you dive even deeper into their lives.

The only thing I didn't like was how Aubrey was just w/e about Spencer's secret. I think she should have been more upset and they needed to have deeper dive into how they can make this work.

The Tangle of Awful was a deliciously taboo read that made forbidden seem all kinds of right.

I enjoyed heading back to Park Mountain to catch up with the Park family and this time it was Hugo, Spencer and Aubrey's story that held me captivated. The messy drama, sizzling attraction, and undeniable connection between them kept me caught up in the whirlwind of their relationship. I loved the way they danced around one another and once they gave into what they felt I squealed in delight and couldn't devour their story fast enough.

I definitely enjoyed this unique spin on a MFM romance especially a certain steamy scene that had me squirming in the absolute best of ways. This was one love story that kept me glued to my Kindle enthralled from start to finish.

Hell yeah that's what I'm talking about.

Aubrey is, for once, not a virgin. She returns home to smoking hot step daddy and smoking hot but evil step brother. But someone even more evil than her step brother is out there waiting for Aubrey.

If you like age gap, possessive men, taboo, mfm, dvp, belts, bruises, and fun, you'll love this one.

It's a standalone, but has appearances by characters from book one, The Teacher of Nothing. You'll be fine if you haven't read that one. I'm digging this Park family. The next book will be Jude and I'm dying to see under his mask!
