Mr. Walker, my big brother’s arrogant, powerful, handsome, and completely unobtainable best friend.
He’s a millionaire tech tycoon, and I take calls from angry clients who can’t reset their passwords.
He lives in a Grade II listed mansion with holiday homes worldwide, and I rent a room in a flat-share with my best friend and mice.
Our worlds couldn’t be farther apart.
Falling for him is not an option.
Eight years ago, I made the mistake of flirting with him only to be rejected…hard.
To this day, he won’t acknowledge me as anything more than his best friend’s silly little sister.
Which is fine by me because I can’t stand to be around that emotionless CEO.
Regardless of him being the hottest man I’ve ever met.
Now I find out he’s bought the company I work for, making him my boss’s boss’s boss.
And he wants to get rid of me.
Danny Walker is not a man to be messed with.
But perhaps there’s more behind his cold, detached stares than I thought. Stone-faced ruthless CEOs don’t fall for scatty girls like me. Or do they?
'Taming Mr. Walker' is a standalone, full-length sizzling office romance starring a conflicted CEO millionaire and a younger girl trying to make her way in the world.

The blurb sounded really good, I like the fact that their love was to be a big secret !!
But omg, the dramas, the jealousy, it killed everything to me, if I take that off, the book was really good, but too much jealousy and dramas, it was way too much for me, I got so bored of it, I skipped a few pages, just to be able to finish my reading !! I had planned to read Mr Kane after that, I'm not sure about it anymore

I stumbled across this book by accident and so incredibly pleased I did. A very engaging read with well written three dimensional characters. Beautiful style of writing that drew me in right off the bat. I very much appreciated the real life scenarios of an ordinary but feisty, determined 20 something girl living in London. There were some astounding laugh out loud scenes in this book. It’ll take me a while to stop chuckling about a certain rodent dinner ‘guest’.
The push and pull of the main characters (Charlie and Danny) was well written, this author really did capture emotion (of various kinds!) and takes you along for one hell of an antsy but funny ride. The supporting characters were fabulous and well fleshed out. The steamy scenes are well written and not overdone.
There are a few typos in the final chapters (incorrect words) as others have mentioned but this in NO way detracts from the final scenes. The stomach dropping roller coasting emotion does not let up AT ALL.
Fabulous book, highly recommended. My only disappointment is to find this is the only current release on Kindle from a very talented author. I look forward to reading whatever Rosa publishes next!

There were some laugh out loud moments for me that added to my enjoyment. The dinner party was particularly entertaining. I like the idea of trying new things.
Danny and Charlie are interesting characters, with some flaws and baggage but also a charm to them. Charlie is definitely insecure at times, which creates some misunderstandings but she is still realistic. Her brother made me smile, although her mum and sister were a challenge. I particularly liked that she dressed in comfortable everyday clothing and could be herself rather than falling into the always dressed up category.
Danny is a great character with layers, and a sad background which was sensitively referred to. His grandma was great and added some satisfying information to the story.
Charlie's friends had personality, but cared deeply for her.
This is a new author, but I would happily read other books by her, especially if there's more romance and laugh out loud moments.

First of the age gap. I really dislike when authors do this, where they make it seem wrong when a 28 year old (Charlie) hooks up with a 41 year old (Danny). The blurb and certain parts of the book make it seem a big issue, when it is really not.
Then there are Charlie's insecurities. It is no suprise that she is like this, with her mother turning her nose up on where and how she lives and the way she dresses. With Tristan being this big shot, who gives monetary gifts making her feel inferior and both, Tristan and Danny, calling her immature. The last part is kind of funny, since she has a good job, works hard and stands on her own two feet, but neither of them really see that. It is sad that this wasn't addressed better in the book and I wish either Charlie would have said something or Danny picked up on it. It could have been a great moment.
I know this book is set in London and people talk this way, but it really wasn't necessary since we know that it is set on London and because others, who don't know how London people talk, will see it as a grammar error. Especially, since the author didn't give Danny a Scottish way of talking, it was just mentioned that he has an accent. What im talking about is the use of 'was' when there should have been an 'am' or 'were'.
If other characters get a book, I will definitely read it, because the writing otherwise isn't bad, but I hope the author will get an editor to look over it first.

I had the permanent giggles with this book. The banter drew me in. I could not forget about this book and kept going back to read pages during my work day!!
Yes there are a few typos but this didn’t bother me at all! What did bother me is that I cannot find anymore books from this author and I am completely addicted!!!
Would love a Tristan book Rosa! Congratulations on a fantastic, well written book!
