Ash Elliott needs cash, and I make her trade in crudeness and degradation for it. I crave her tears, her moans. I pay for each one. And every time, she comes back for more. When she challenges me with an offer of her own, I have to decide if I’m willing to give her far more than cold hard cash.
But love can have deadly consequences when it comes from a Constantine. At the stroke of midnight, that choice may be lost for both of us.

It comes with it’s very own kinky, foul mouthed, Maserati driving, total alpha-male Prince Charming complete with the obligatory multiple issues that seem to go hand in hand with being a billionaire. In fact Winston Constantine is the epitome of the anti-Prince Charming, a man who loves (or should that be lives) to humiliate women. Ash Elliott AKA the Cinders of this story is no simpering, wilting violet though and is more than capable of giving as good as she gets. The fact that she actually enjoys what Winston does to her changes it from humiliation or degradation to mere embarrassment, in my eyes at least, which made this easier for me to read. It’s clear that Winston does care about Ash even though he might not realise it yet. The chemistry between them is off the charts and their dialogue had me smiling in parts.
Every good fairytale merits an evil character and in this case we have an abundance – Ash’s depraved triplet stepbrothers who have their own nefarious plans for her and the Morellis - life time enemies of the Constantine family. Even Winston’s brother Perry who I’m on the fence about – he just seems to nice to be true. This book does end on a huge cliffhanger but fortunately the next book is scheduled for release on January 26th so not too long to wait to see if Cinderelliott has a fairy godmother to help her make it to the ball before the stroke of midnight.

Newly 18 Ash needs money for college after her father remarried and spent her college fund impressing his new bride. Desperate for a job, she begins cleaning Halcyon, the headquarters of the infamous Constantine family, but gets caught doing a bad job by the CEO, cruel, cold, and twisted Winston Constantine. He’s drawn to Ash, she speaks to him with no fear like the rest of the people in his world, and they strike up a deal, he can humiliate her in any way he wants, and she’ll set her fee each time. Their twisted agreement gets more and more dirty and depraved, but Ash seems to be falling. But this story is not a fairy-tale, and Ash is no princess, so who will be there to rescue her when it all comes crumbling down?
I struggled to connect to either Winston or Ash, and the plot seemed to just get more and more far-fetched and ridiculous as it went on. Although it was kind of predictable, it felt at times like some scenes were thrown in for the shock factor over actually contributing anything to the plot. The whole Cinderella thing was kind of lacking, but I have a feeling it’ll pick up in Prince Charming, especially after that cliff-hanger.
Overall, I am intrigued enough to read the next book because I just want to see how Ash gets herself out of the situation, she finds herself in. If you are into dirty and crazy age-gap plotlines, this will be right up your street but it didn’t blow me away.

Winston is a 36 year old billionaire who is used to getting what he wants and has no problems with humiliating people to achieve that, enter Ash a 18 year old student who has a less than perfect home life thanks for her stepmother and the terror triplets her step brothers. As I’ve said her home life isn’t perfect and the terror triplets have their name for a reason.
I’m looking forward to reading the next part as we are left on a cliffhanger.

Then to add in a fairy tale element and top it off with bullying and danger and 5 alarm smoking hot scenes...
Needless to say, I got absolutely nothing today as my nose was pressed firmly to my Kindle. Could not put it down. Pretty sure I have vision damage from the Kindle being glued to my face.
I totally blame you, K Webster. It's all your fault, going around writing awesome books. Tsk.
Pretty sure I won't be sleeping tonight as I head into book 2. Sigh. 😉
Very highly recommended for anyone that likes a bit of darkness and depravity with their romances.
