It has everything : an amazing heroin and a perfect hero's. Lots of action, suspense. Twists
Emotional situation.
But still, I did not really enjoyed it. Thus the 4 star only

j'avais adoré les deux précédents et j'étais donc curieuse et impatiente de lire celui-ci ! Et bien je n'ai pas été déçue de ma lecture, les personnages sont intenses, Alessandro et Serena ont tous les deux des soucis et ils vont devoir apprendre à les dépasser pour atteindre l'amour et le bonheur. Elle a vécu un certain nombre de traumatismes qui m'ont fait du mal pour elle, on souffre avec elle mais on l'admire aussi quand elle se relève et va de l'avant. La guerre est bien présente et on va avoir toutes les réponses à nos questions, ce roman se passe en parallèle des autres et le final nous révèle tout ce que l'on en attendait sur qui se cache derrière tout ça. Les mots de l'autrice coulent facilement et j'ai adoré me laisser avoir par certaines personnes ! Le final est pour le moins intense et on les quitte avec le sourire aux lèvres !

A beautiful conclusion for this great series.

Even if it’s not my favorite from this series, STL is sweet and lovely. We get to know Serena who is a Phoenix, beautiful, scared, she will shine and be reborn as the book progresses. Alessandro is a book Boyfriend material, literally. Sweet, kind, patient , caring , sexy , loyal.. etc etc .. I could go on for a long time.

This book is not as spicy and heartbreaking as some of Siobhan's books but I find that good because it’s more a book where the key word is healing.

The introduction of future spin offs is mouth watering… I can’t wait !

I recommend this series.

This book is the third in the Mazzone Mafia series and is the new mafia romance book from one of my favourite authors. This mafia book is a captivating love story that will keep you hooked until the very end. I loved the suspense, angst and the dark romance in this slow burn page turner.

Serena has been through so much in her life and now things are changing for her dramatically. She has a ton of strength deep down inside and I love that she wants to fight for herself too. Serena is trying to build herself and her life back up after enduring such terrible abuse from her horrid husband and he has really knocked her confidence, but with Alesso around maybe he can help to heal her. Alesso is such a kind and caring soul that will wait forever for her and he will do anything for the people that he loves and that included Serena. All he wants to do is protect those around him and with the help of the guys he has a great chance.

I loved this story and how this author has written these characters. As with all the characters that this author writes she brings them to life and really pulls you into theirs. The chemistry that they both have with each other is so strong and you heart will ache reading about all that they go through with a will they wont they kind of thing. This story has twists, shocks, dark times and really emotional heart aching moments that you will love reading about. This series is a fantastic mafia romance books that are great written and well worth reading. I highly recommend that everyone reads this series.

I wasn’t expecting that at all. Serena is such a brave person that I fell in love with her and Alesso. He was so caring and patient with her. It was also fantastic to read an author who writes about trauma and abuse so well. It is a long recovery with counselling, and I’m glad it wasn’t rushed.

Serena has been brutalised, raped and beaten by her husband for many years, until he is killed. She moves into her sister and brother in laws house after, with her kids, and Alesso is one of Ben’s soldiers. Over time he gradually builds her confidence with him, and is just there for her. There are a few blips along the way. When they try to have sex too fast she panics and believes they’ll never happen. She struggles to rebuild her life with counselling. She has a lot of feelings for Alesso and he really loves her, and is so patient with her.

The De Luca story comes to a dramatic conclusion as well. I won’t spoil it but it was good.

The only serious complaint I have about these books, is how she writes about the Russians. I don’t like how she writes them as almost cavemen, who are all disorganised and chaotic. At one point Alesso is shocked that the bedroom the Russians were previously in is clean, as Russians are supposedly filthy!!! 😡😡 Seriously??

There are spelling mistakes in the book, but they’re not too bad, and it doesn’t spoil the book.

I've loved the whole mazzone mafia series and I can't wait for those spin off books to come out.

This is Serena & Alessos story ❤️
I loved the fact that this book went into detail about the after affects of abuse and the way rena had to change her way of thinking and her process to allow the man she loved to even touch her.

Both Alesso and Rena have baggage and both don't know how to be in a relationship because of it, I live that they overcame they're problems together even while dealing with outside issues.

Serena is a bad biitchh and strength is something else! 😍❤️

This is the third and final book in the Mazzone mafia story. I must say Bennett Mazzone is my favourite and I just love the strong name ideal for a mafia man.
I loved the chemistry between Serena and Alesso and I was pleased it was a slow burn romance and not rushed. I was also pleased that Serena became a bad ass woman and didn’t let all that had happened to her effect her when it was needed for her to be strong. I could read Mafia stories all day long and usually do love this gene. I’m sorry these stories have ended but I am pleased not all is lost as we have the Twins stories to look forward too.

This is the much anticipated third book of this series and as per usual Siobhan has knocked it out of the Park. This book broke me and put me back together! I am so in love with all the characters that it’s impossible to choose a favourite! 100% recommend! If other authors had a smidgen of her talent bringing complex characters together and making their story just oh so perfect. Don't get me wrong there are always boulders in the way but that makes the ending so much sweeter.
