A great first installment! Sweet and swoony!

I smiled a lot while reading Rushed. A breath of fresh air on the wildness outdoors of Montana where Cybil would learn a lot about herself and find love along the way.

And that meet cute… sweet and funny. When Cybil met Tanner, the chemistry was already there and the banter, very promising! A challenging adventure for both, sweet and bubbly.

Cybil was for once leaving her hometown and family for a week. To get away from all the people who looked at her with pity after her breakup with her high school sweetheart. A trip far away, with such beautiful landscapes, peacefulness and also for the presence of the wilderness retreat owner, who made her feel too much. She is a sunshine, caring and sweet but definitely no damsel in distress.

Tanner was busy with his wilderness adventure company, created with his other two friends. When he managed to stick with the rules, Cybil’s participation in this couple’s retreat alone made him want to break the rules, since the chemistry was too strong to ignore. A man loyal to his friends and not afraid to speak his mind.

I appreciated reading their journey, when things went fast for sure but so naturally. Smooth but not without some hardships along the way. This was a great start for this series and I can’t wait to read more!!

Cybil needs to get out of her small town after the end of her relationship and decides to go on the couples retreat she had booked for her and her ex. She was hoping to find herself again but found so much more. Tanner is ex army and co-owns the company running the retreat. Their initial meeting doesn’t go that well, but once they spend time together on the retreat they can’t believe how well they fit. Theirs is a quick, hot, intense attraction and there is lot that needs to be worked out as they live so far apart. There are some hurdles along their way but they both realise what they have doesn’t come along very often and they make sure they get their HEA. A thoroughly enjoyable read.

This was a really enjoyable romance, loved the two main characters and the camping setting is a favourite of mine definitely a bit of instalove going on but can overlook cause they were so darn cute together.

Has one of my not so favourite tropes at the end which definitely lowered my enjoyment although still a great short read.

Slightly different to ARR’s other stories but still excellent. Cybill is recovering from being dumped by her fiancé who she has been with since high school after he comes out as gay. She is left to go on a couples retreat in the Montana outdoors on her own. She is left with the leader Tanner and they are mutually attracted to each other. The story concentrates on their retreat and then how they develop their relationship afterwards.
I look forward to the next story.

Although realised a 'modern' story, a bit hard to believe in places. Did they have to share a tent? were tents in short supply? and Tanner did admit to enjoy sleeping 'under the stars' !!
Characterisation a bit predictable and not really believable. Could people be so naive, not check up on what they were booking in modern society with internet? And the swear words-totally not necessary-first book I've ever read with the F word on almost every page.....

Cybil and Tanner are so sweet. I sat here and swooned all the way through this book. It was an amazing start to a fantastic new series by this author, and i can't wait to read Blake and Maverick's stories. Amazing five-star read that I couldn't put down.
