Wow this book was a fantastic book about adjusting your way of thinking and literally eliminating the negative thoughts. I love the way the books have a lot of diagrams for people who are visual learners like myself and understand the light demonstrations and examples instead of word for word instructions. More over this book gives a bunch of examples so different people can understand and relate to this is some sort of way, for instance the books ‘worry cycle’ was really relevant to the situation I was going through currently and it eliminated my thinking quite well.

The reason why I even brought this book because I am the type of person to erase of the positive things about myself with the one negative comment I hear and this book successfully touches on people who thinks touches like me. In a way, this book has helped me deal with my body dysmorphia and just find the good things in the bad and not the other way round, I definitely give this book a 5/5 stars and recommend this book to people, possibly teens specifically as they’re at an age where they face criticism from the world and beauty standards allocated by other people to make them feel less of them selves. But honestly I think everyone should get this book , it’s great!

Some very good information on how to overcome these thoughts. Some very useful and simple exercises to aid in the control of negative thoughts. Towards the end of the book it has good information about when one should consider getting professional help before negative thought can have a major impact on ones life. A life changing book for anyone.
The reader learns what are cognitive distortion and how to overcome them by cognitive restructuring so to overcome schemata. After clarifying the benefits of self-care, teach the reader to be their own best friend by illustrating the Maslow's Hierarchy of Needs and identifying unmet needs. At the end, it points out when the reader should seek professional help. Fully recommended book, for everyone, especially after lockdowns and the stress they caused to all of us.
This book came as a nice and easy to read help, full of small steps and details that make the thoughts easy to deal with or even kill them all togheter.
From social anxiety to negative associations from other mentals struggles this book came as a excelent guide on obsessive or and depresive thoughts
Help keep my mind will it of the loop and full of knowledge and strategies on dealing of circles of negative thoughts .
The management aproach is excellent and quite doable.
The way it is organized in sections and topics is great, allow you to focus in small and changeable aspects.
Would definitely recommend in the journey for a better life and positive thought process

As a psychiatrist who deals with patients and clients suffering from social anxiety, this book is a great addition to my portfolio of self-help advice and a resource. Patients frequently appear with uncomfortable thoughts that cross diagnostic criteria, whether they are obsessive or depressive thoughts. Given that people have difficulties distinguishing between them, it is useful to have this book to calm down the wandering mind across these several challenges. The book provides a comprehensive explanation of what is going on in your brain, as well as a step-by-step strategy for dealing with it; a viable and optimistic route forward. Not a quick fix, but a manageable approach. I really loved the examples and solutions listed by the author, that motivate the reader to deal with their problem themselves without asking help from others. It feels awesome to see how the patients gradually feel comfortable and remove all the bad thoughts only within a few weeks. Negative thoughts only limit people in life, so in order to be able to taste happiness and see the positive aspects of life, you must first overcome your negative thoughts. If you want to know how negative thoughts can affect your mind, be sure to read this book or how to deal with negative thoughts that cause the positive aspects not to get felt. I appreciate the author's detailed analysis of citations and contributions from other resources. I feel as though I've read a book about which others have been raving for years, and I believe we should all read it. This book, in my opinion, is the most basic, easy-to-understand book I have ever come across on the subject of frightening, catastrophic thoughts; what they are, what they are not, what works and what doesn't in dealing with them.You don't have to sift through meaningless material for pearls of truth that call you, or to get confused in an attempt to figure out what the writer is trying to say. Perhaps the finest thing about this book is that it is brief and to the point. The text progresses logically from analysis to describing complex ideas in simple ways. I would suggest this book to a practitioner as well as a client who is having difficulty understanding and regulating their negative thoughts.

A source and wealth of great teaching for everyone. This book is not only for the conscious afflicted/hindered, but anyone who seeks to improve their life via improving their mindset. The mind is the vehicle to destiny. If you want to go somewhere, you must believe you can go to that particular destination. If you have false and bad information then your outcome will be bad.

Negative thoughts is a normal aspect of everyday life. But a compounding of false believes only results negatively. A bad mind can never result in a positive life. This book instructs in understanding how we behave in a psychological way. It is a self help book that seeks to help in removing negativity from ones life. It also teaches how to find joy in everyday life.

This book is well written and easy to read and when followed can help anyone in improving their thinking pattern by changing certain ways of behaviour. Repetition is the answer to change, therefore what you learn you must consistently practice it like a ritual to reap the desired outcome. But for those who merely want to learn without practicing, this is still a good book that adds knowledge to the reader. Maybe the new learnt knowledge can be used trivially at a dinner party to display intellectual pomposity.

The power of Eliminating Negative Thinking is something we can say ,it is a skill that one should have in life to see success . This book has many inspirational ideas and teaches some easy technique to overcome the negative thinking and to attain the positivism. Especially we are in a lock down and everyone are working from home . At times it is quiet tiring and we are in a need to balance work and family life as well . when we can't maintain this , it could be frustrating .The same applies to many situations we come across in our life . This book helped me to eradicate my fears . I have gone through this book fully and the steps are easy to understand and follow . Today I started my day with positive affirmation . I found it really helpful . I have started following some concepts into my regular daily routine . I could see a big difference . I am really happy . I recommend this book strongly.Enjoy the inner peace .

What an amazing book to have in your collection of best to read books. I was recommended this beautifully written book by someone who thought I should get and read. Not entirely sure why he thought I should read it but I am glad he recommended. If you are someone who get irritated with little of more of what is going on around you or not happy with what people say or how they behave around you need to read this book. Trust me, you won’t regret it. It will help you see things completely different to what you used to. It will better transform your life and allow you to see thing differently. Reading this book will make you change your hobbit of thinking and you will start read and see the hidden good sides of everything around you.

Superbly written and full of information
Going trough life and choices the negative results and shortcomings pills up creating a lot of circles of negative thoughts.
Been s neuro divergent make it a little harder to deal with this kind thoughts

I have been looking for a book like this fir a while now and I’m so glad I bought this one.
Negative thinking can have such an impact on a person’s life that it’s important to learn how to change the way you think.
This book helps you to identify which negative patterns affect your life.
Thee Ed book teaches you how to turn your negative thoughts into positive thoughts.
This book also teaches you various ways to overcome things that can send you into a downward spiral of negative thoughts.
The book teaches you all about cognitive distortions and how to overcome them by cognitive restructuring.
This book teaches you to be your own best friend which is another positive thing to learn.
With the way things have been the last year + with all the lockdowns we have been in I think this book will help many people.
Highly recommend buying this book.

Why do we get negative thoughts 🤔
I always used to wonder .. I have seen people committed suicide due to negative thoughts z It used to hurt me a lot , by chance I got to know about this book and ordered out of curiosity.

This Author “Bryan Petterson “ is exceptionally amazing . He has come up with the root causes of negative thoughts but not only that he tells completely about how to overcome of this ..
I would suggest everyone needs to read this book , because all of us have come across one ur bother kinds of negative thoughts in our lives ..
This book definitely helps to keep us with full of positivity and happiness

This book has almost everything that you need to help with negative thoughts, to reduce the overthinking and to go back on track after an overlap. It is full of tools that will keep you to think positively and to rediscover all the happiness that the universe has to offer.

Also the book has taught me to identity the negative thinking patterns and to understand  and then how to transform it to to a positive way. It has some techniques to manage and cope with my anxiety and manage my worries.

I have definitely learnt how to have joy in my life and accepting the thing that can't be changed in life.
I highly recommend this book, for anyone that would like to reduce their negative thoughts
