It’s not a steamy hot sex story, but the characters are so good, the intrigues, the dialogues and the twists too, that it’s a great story and I counldn’t stoped reading it.I enjoyed the way Jane ans Zane hate each other : She has a lot of empathy and Zane hasn’t any, or it’s what it seems. But he lives in a family in which each member tries to manipulate the other. In fact, even if the story is told by Jane, I had the impression that it was more Zane story and how we discovers him beyond his arrogance.
When they meet, she’s a caterer assistant and she’s the witness of one of his outburst. He’s quite a jerk to her, and the next day she’s fired. After few days and differents encounter during when they send words to each other, he offers her PR job. She takes it because of the money, and she discovers he’s not so unbearable that he was at first, even if they seem to can't stand each other most of the time.

Not the best work of Sabrinas

I hate to give 3 stars because I have loved sabrinas books I've read but this one was no where as good.
I just didn't feel the connection with these two, they went from hating each other to been in love in 1 chapter and no build up of it happening. He was sleeping with all these supermodels but apparently he was in love with Jane!!!! No didn't buy it at all and she never questioned it and just like any weak woman she just accepted it.
Also I felt like nothing of the story was elaborated on like why was he so mean to everyone especially at the beginning when he had all then meeting and told everyone he met to f@@k off we never found out what justified that behaviour. I also didn't see the point of having paisley in the book either.
I just didn't feel this book and I feel like if we had some chapters from Zanes pov it might have been better and then we wouldn't have just seen him been horrible to telling Jane he loved her it was bizaar.
Anyway it hasn't stopped me from looking forward to sabrinas other books but I defo won't be 're reading this one

A sweet, funny read

Yay, a new book from Sabrina Stark. Obviously I dived straight in!
Zane Bennington is somewhat of a mystery, he arrives as though from nowhere to continue his grandfather's legacy. The heir to a huge hotel business he has no time for fools and thieves. Whilst cleaning house, he collects more than his fair share of enemies. Jane, is a young woman who he meets whilst she works a catered event in his honor.
This is not a meeting of hearts and minds. Jane inadvertently draws his wrath and believes he gets her fired. Not one to allow a slight to be unanswered, she confronts Zach and ends up working for him.
What follows is a somewhat madcap, snarky adventure between the pair.
As usual, this is only from Jane's pov which offers a complete picture of who she is and what she does. However, I wish we could have been offered a glimpse into everything Zach was thinking and feeling.
As much as I liked Jane, I felt she was very naive and wanted her to get a clue way quicker than she did. Ultimately, I appreciated her decency and kindness. It acts as a balm to Zach's abrasive nature.
The secondary characters add much to the story and I'd love to read their stories too (hint😏)
This is a sweet, funny read from Sabrina. Can't wait for more.

Yet again Sabrina has excelled again with this book! I've read all of her books and they all are delivered superbly written with such a witty sense of humour I found myself sniggering out aloud.
Jane and Zane are a unique pair of characters who are match made in heaven who think the other doesn't like them and who go in such a funny cycle to defend each other and realise they can't do without the other. I also found the other characters in the story highly amusing.

Zane and his constant use of 'fu¢k off' was hilarious.
Jane was the perfect match for him in every way. Some of her internal ramblings were so funny. As for how she stood up to Zane, it all made me love her character.
Not only were Zane and Jane funny, but the support characters, were just as good. Paisley had to be my favourite though.
I love a good light-hearted story, and this one was perfect.

I loved the story. Finding love at the strangest times. The back chat and misunderstandings, the alpha male going after and protecting what he wants.
