First of all, and this is my main query, what is really happening ????........ I am still not sure of who is Dove, what happened to her, who is related to who among the different characters even after the big reveal at the end... so yeah, I may be a bit slow and English is not my first language but I really did not understand some basic parts of the plot...
However, this book has redeeming qualities and I do not regret buying it, and I can't wait for the next one. But still, I hope that the author has planned her series and that she will eventually fill the gaps in her plot.

Oh my god.

This book.

I don't even know how to start. All my thoughts are kind of chaotic and my emotions all over the place. I can't even begin to tell you how much I loved IN PEACE LIES HAVOC. I should tell you that Amo Jones has soon become a one-click author for me. I’ve fallen in love with her creativity and brilliant writing. This book is simply my favourite from hers. Yes, it is that good.

The main characters, Dove and Kingston are both attracted to one another without any reasons. They've got this weird, intense, palpable connection. I loved seeing them fight their attraction until they couldn't anymore. I will be vague because I don't want to intentionally give anything away. I also think this is the type of book you just want to go into blind.

Overall, IN PEACE LIES HAVOC is a unique, enchanting, consuming, breathtaking, soul-shredding romance full of mystery, angst, and many twists and turns that will keep you on the edge of your seat. The characters are so perfectly imperfect and the storyline is brilliantly original.

This book is hands down one of the best books I've read this year. It's an absolute MASTERPIECE.

I highly, highly recommend.

ps: If you're a fan of Penelope Douglas and BB Reid, I'm sure you’ll absolutely LOVE this book.

In Peace Lies Havoc - By Amo Jones.
This is a new book series and it’s started off with a blast; ‘Amo’ stays true to her books, every single one will blow your dam mind, leaving you stunned, heart wrecked or blubbering mess, if not after chapter one - she’ll have you hooked by the end.
This book introduces you to the ‘Midnight’ world, and personally I’m in love, it starts off with Dove and Kingston story.
This story is messy, alpha male, broody, dangerous, and seriously sexy; it starts off with a past and i guarantee you will not see the plot twist coming, i didn’t, and I sat there with my jaw dropped to the floor when I read it.
This book isn’t a fairytale, nor a cute-meet book, it’s dark, twisted and delicious with every single word.

Amo Jones NEVER disappoints me. IPLH was breathtaking and as usual I fell in love with the characters. I’m so obsessed with Amo’s writing... and really need the next book of this series.
Dove is probably one of my characters and Kingston is everything. This book made my laugh, cry and smile so many times. This dark romance is a freaking must!!!

In peace lies havoc was everything and more. Amo has such a specific way of writing her characters and their world that it’s seriously one of a kind. You can feel her passion for writing in this book. The plot was so well executed and I fell in love with these characters so quickly into the story. I don’t know if this will make sense but I loved the atmosphere of this book too. Everything flowed so perfectly. These characters grew on me so much that I truly wish IPLH was triple its size so I can have more of them. I’m definitely excited to see what’s to come in the rest of the series because I know this is only the beginning and shit will go down... cause it’s amo duh (can’t expect anything less from her)

First up... King

Dove is scraping by in life. Forced to strip to make a living. Her parents are both gone and she has no family that she knows of. In fact before her parents died theres very little she remembers. One night after work she's taken. Four men her captors. She's promptly dumped into a dark world she knows nothing about but finds herself drawn into. In amongst the dark of Midnight Mayhem she gets to do what she's always wanted... to dance.

King is top of the food chain. The master of games. He's got Dove exactly where he wants her and when the time comes he'll make the final move. He hates her. He can't wait for the end. Although... theres something about her. He knows she's not his but he plays the game, just changes the rules to have a small taste of what could have been.

The two of them collide. It's like fate has thrown them together for reasons neither understand. They can't stay away from each other even though they both know it could be the end for one of them.

Down n down the dark world we go! I loved every second of it!

Drawn in from the start. I was intrigued with all of it. I didn't see what was coming but i kind of didn't want to. I wanted to savor each and every dark chapter thrown at me.

Loved Dove! She's strong without being in your face. She's rebelious which was quite fun in the face of The Brothers. But she also had heart. Even though you get the impression shes not had a lot of love you felt that she cared. That she wanted a family and any way that came she would take it! Even though at times everyone but her friend Rose was horrible to her she still held on to hope that she could trust. She was kind of sweet really.

And King, sexy, grumpy, bossy, possessive King. Ohhhhh how i loved him! So dark n mysterious his bossy orders made me break out in a feverish sweat... phewwwww i would 100% do whatever the hey he asked me to! 😂 As the book goes on you see him break apart a little to see the inside, and while its not all gooey and good there is a tenderness there which will have you dreaming of those green eyes!!

Loved the plot. Original and deliously dark, you couldn't pry it from my hands until it was done.

Amazing to see a few familiar faces in here. I can so imagine them all together. What a delicious feast that would be!

Can't wait for the other brothers! They all intigue me, i honestly don't think i have a fave. I want em all! Hmmmm maybe Kyrin 🤔 i do love a brooder! Bring em on!

Exciting start to a new series! If you love Silver Swan you're gonna inhale this!

This is the first time I have read anything by this author and I am on the fence as to whether I liked it or not.
There was alot of hype. Nearly everyone I knew was talking about this book. So I decided to give it a go.
I'm confused by the authors style. I myself getting extremely frustrated at times and quite often thought to not even finish the book.
What I think was supposed to be a mysterious, suspenseful build up, was in fact just unfinished sentences, and jumping from one scene to another without finishing what was happening. It was incredibly frustrating and confusing trying to keep up.
It was 80% into the book before any kind of answers are revealed, and people atarted finishing their sentences! The last 20% is the only reason I jumped from a 1 star to a 3 because I did enjoy the characters and the ending once I knew what the heck was going on!

If you have ever read any of Amo's books you'll know that things are never as they appear and trying to figure them out is just... well, pointless.

In Piece Lies Havoc is no exception. It's a steamy, wild, intense, deviant, sensual, dark and exceptionally entertaining experience only someone as extraordinary as Amo Jones can deliver. She is the Queen of thrilling, suspenseful, romantically-dark plots. It's impossible not to get obsessed with her writing. She's an addiction and once you've read her books, you'll be on the lookout for your next hit (book).

The Midnight Mayhem series will be like nothing you've ever read. The first book - IPLH - was phenomenal. Kingston and Dove (Persephone) are mind-blowing. Their story is painful, exciting, steamy, full of twists and intensely twisted backstories. I can't wait for In Fury Lies Mischief.

This is Amo Jones at her finest.

I know we’ve all been waiting for King and Dove’s book and omg the wait is Over!

Let me just say this book is EVERYTHING and then some Amo has gone above and beyond with this book even more so then I thought possible, seriously this book is dark, mysterious, hot it simply grabs hold of you and doesn’t let go absolutely the most incredible story from the goddess herself Amo Jones

Kingston has become my new favourite alpha he’s broody, hot as hell, protective, and sweet Jesus is he dangerous.....he believes in what is set out for him to do but underneath that tough exterior there does lay emotions which he conceals from most he becomes in contact with but with Dove he can’t hide.

I absolutely loved Dove she is a character that you fall in love with, what she’s been through and still trying to find some sense of a life that isn’t surrounded by pain and lies, I’m so glad we get her backstory in this book.

Midnight mayhem is a place I quite frankly want to go see lol no joke!

Just have to say THANK YOU Amo Jones for giving me yet another book that hooked me from the prologue and didn’t let go till the end which I didn’t want to see coming tbh just wanted it to continue on and on......

INCREDIBLE, BREATHTAKING, SEXY, HARD HITTING.....5 star read

Dove, a normal girl taken and held captive in a dingy cell, until she’s taken to the home of the creator of midnight mayhem. A place only your wildest dreams or nightmares rather could imagine. Where sexy and danger come as a natural occurrence. They’re not a circus or carnival, they are so much more. And as Dove is about to discover being forced to share a trailer with four hot men, she wasn’t taken as a coincidence and they have plans for this girl, plans that could result in her heart being torn apart and her blood spilled.

Once again I love Amo Jones writing ability and creative. She’s able to build a story and a world that keeps you captivated by the book. It’s hard to put down and even harder not to just read the end and see if there is some kind of happy ending. But as always nothing is ever simple or as it seems with an Amo Jones book and you may as well forget what you think you know and have learnt, because those cards will change and the game will be an entirely different one, with shocks and twists you cannot see coming until your head is spinning.
