When you simply devour it in one sitting … it means it’s absolutely unputdownable!

I loved everything about them individually and together , their chemistry is explosive , the honesty and how they realise the trust they have in each other.

A fake relationship with the realist connection. So much in common more than they realise, both needing escape from normality in their life.
every sexual encounter is sizzling and i was completely hooked, and an ending to leave me in a need for more.., so many questions i’m asking on my head.

Bring on the second book!

Both Eva and Finn have heartbreaking secrets regarding their families and yet despite their hardships they both find a beautiful attraction. Extremely well written and I can't wait for the next book ❤❤❤❤

I love finding out all the secrets in this world and this book is no different!

Eva Morelli is always managing the lives of her family whilst neglecting her own life. Eva is currently single and doesn’t really get out of her comfort zone. She has not will to get married much to her mothers dismay.

Finn Hughes doesn’t do relationships, he has no plans to get married or have children. He has a family secret that he doesn’t want to burden someone with.

One night at a gala while Eva’s mother is trying to set her up with a wealth suitor Finn proposes to take Eva out for a night of fun to get her out of her comfort zone.

Finn and Eva agree to fake date as a way to stop the pressures of an arranged marriage. Finn uses this fake relationship as a way to spend more time with Eva without any real commitment.

I love them together and can’t wait to see where this goes after the cliffhanger!!

This has moments of brilliance and great writing, but I found each scene short and abruptly cut off. There wasn’t enough depth but there was so much repetition, especially about the family curse and the sick dad and running out of time. It’s always on his mind. We get it. The steamy scenes were super short and lacked detail. Everything was just kind of told instead of shown. The whole thing read more like an outline than an actual story, which sucks because I was so looking forward to reading Eva’s story. Maybe the next one will be better.

I wasn’t aware that this book would be left untended. You have to wait till August to get the next book. Had I realized this I would have waited to read until the next book was out. It is a very good, emotional story. Will have to wait for the next one.
