Love this authors books. Her heroes are troubled but love the way they work through their insecurities. Loved Sterling and June and a very different but really enjoyable story

They say life is what happens when we're busy making other plans, and boy oh boy, does planner extraordinaire, June Spearman, get smacked up side the head with a great big dose of life. In just one night her thirty-day plan is shot, as well as her carefully calculated plan to have a baby on her own. Just when she's decided to take a year and figure out her life, broody, grumpy billionaire artist, Sterling Ahern upends everything.

Mr. Live-in-the-moment never wanted a family. Not after the example he had from his parents, and not with crazy stalkers hounding him every time he steps out in public. Who knew that artist groupies were a thing, but Sterling has an entire security team as a result. Now he has more to protect than just himself, a job he hopes to be lucky enough to have for the rest of his life.

Who doesn’t love a temperamental, broody hero with a bit of baggage but a heart of gold? For a man who never wanted a family, it didn’t take him long to get on board. June doesn’t quite know what to make of Sterling's need to keep her close and protect her, but she's used to dealing with overbearing men. She's the youngest daughter with three older brothers, so she has a lot of experience.

I don’t know how she does it time and time again, but this author is one I can always count on for a captivating, endearing, heartfelt read. It doesn’t matter if it’s a trope that's been done thousands times, Burgoa delivers a fresh, engaging storyline with characters who easily enchant me, sneak into my heart and leave me wanting more. If you’re looking for a holiday read where home is a person rather than a place and family is borne of bonds as well as blood, don’t miss this sweet yet steamy, heart-warming read.

So here's the thing, I have been patiently waiting for Sterling's story for over a year, I first met him when he appeared in his brother Wes' story (The Chaotic Love Duet) now that's a long time and I have read a LOT of books since then but there was just something about Sterling that always had me wondering if he would ever get his HEA. Well, it's a Holiday Miracle because he got more than he ever dared hope for but once he met June he knew things would never be the same.

Juniper (June) Spearman is the youngest sister of Jason Spearman from Then he happened and Jack Spearman from Maybe Later, if you have read either of these books you have met June. I never would have guess these two would work together because they are just so different but you cannot deny the chemistry between them, and I guess the saying that opposites attract hold true for Sterling and June.

This story was fun and sexy and touching at times, I didn't need tissues but I did feel the pulls at my heartstrings. June looks like she has it all together but she feels like there is something she's missing in her life, it was sad to see how all of her past relationships had played out and how it has pushed her into making the decisions she is now making. I do applaud the author for broaching the subject of PCOS and the decisions some women may have to make in order to fulfill their dreams of having a family.

This book as with all of Claudia Burgoa's books are very easy to recommend, this one I would recommend to readers over 17 because it is a pretty steamy read. If you enjoy Contemporary Romance, Rom-Com, Holiday Romance, or the Surprise Pregnancy Trope you should definitely check it out.

Juniper "June" Spearman's life is not working out as she had hoped. By now June was hoping to be married and starting to have a family....instead she is painfully single and longing for a baby so she decides to take matters into her own hands unbeknownst to her overprotective family. Deciding to try IVF to have a baby, June decides to head to Denver for a doctor who specializes in it. While trying to find a place to rent for a month, June has a run-in with sexy voiced, rude man at The Art of Real-State. He may be rude but June is enjoying sparring with him.

While in Denver June spends time with her family for Thanksgiving but first ends up meeting a mysterious guy in a bar and decides to have one last fling before hopefully getting pregnant. What she doesn't know is that he is the same sexy voiced, rude man who also happens to be Sterling Ahren, a renowned artist, and owner of the house she is renting while she is in Denver!

When arriving at the rental, she accidentally locks her keys in the car and is left out in a blizzard while waiting for someone to show up. When Sterling finds her almost frozen to death, he decides to bring her back to his penthouse instead to take care of her. When June finally wakes up she realizes that he is the man from her one night stand but doesn't realize that he is Sterling Ahren, so he introduces himself and that is when the fun begins. Sterling is so drawn to her and wants her to stay with him but she keeps fighting him all the way. When he finally convinces June to stay he feels content. As June and Sterling spend more time together things heat up really quick. They find contentment in each other. Just when it looks like things are going perfect between the two of them, a little wrench gets thrown into the mix and everyone's well planned out lives take a one-eighty degree turn! It will take a whole lot of soul searching between these two to finally get to their happy ending but when they finally do it was well worth it! I just loved June and Sterling. The one thing June always wanted, Sterling thought he never did but it's funny how life can change. Together these two just worked. This was a wonderful holiday story!

What a perfect way to herald in the holiday season with a book that fully captures the importance of love and family. Juniper Spearman and Sterling Ahern are perfection. She smoothes his rough edges and he quiets her racing, super planner mind. This was a welcome change to read a story about a thirty something woman and a 40 year old man. This couple have done some living before finally finding each other and teaching each other how to love in the sweetest and sexiest ways. I loved how June accepted Sterling and made him realise how deserving he was of being loved. Sterling also gentled himself by caring for June and showing her the definition of a soulmate. These two took care of each other before they even realised what they felt was not just love but THE big love everyone craves.

There are many welcome surprises in this book, that I won’t spoil and the epilogue was oh so satisfying. If you have read the other books in the series you will be happy to know June’s brothers Jackson, Jason and Alex make appearances in June’s story. It was great to catch up and see what they have been up to in their lives. The Spearmans are such an amazing, normal family. They fight hard and love harder, just like Sterling and June. Happy holidays to us all with this delicious book.
