This is the second book I have read by this author as much as I like the story I do find the debasement of women uncomfortable and it appears to be this authors raison d’etre for her writings. Not sure if I will read any books.

Strange story of revenge if you could call it that. I never can see selling one's self worth short and Charlotte epitomises this in spades. While I can understand what messed up Mason's mind, I cannot condone his behavior. He is not an admirable person, certainly not someone to rely on or love. The storyline is gripping and was a quick read; but I am going to spend some time trying to decide whether to delve into book two.

Well written with all the feels, action, and revenge. The naivety of Charlotte is astounding not to have a suspicion of foul play. Wish the next installment was on Kindle Unlimited.

Oh this book!! Well, I flip from 1 star to 5 stars. On one hand the way the girl in this book is treated is terrible. But I kept reading. So far mason has no real qualities that make him redeamable. And having a 20 year old CEO with no experience, kinda unbelievable also. But I kept reading. It is good. I will probably read the next book even though it was a cliffhanger, maybe

This book may have begun a little slow but not for very long.
It took off into a story that I could not put down for even a
second. The main character possessed a mean personality that wasn't mean at all. He was also very caring to others especially his 2 brothers and
sister who he raised from
young ages. He was still a
teenager. There's so much more
including the daughter of a man that he blamed for the death of
his parents. Just read to find out.

In "Net Worth ~ Wealth ~ Book 1", Mason Hill is out for revenge against Charlotte Van Kempt because of her father's involvement in the deaths of Mason's parents fourteen years ago. His first surprise that Charlotte showed up for his meeting with her father. He alters his plan to include her in his revenge.

The plot is fast moving with conflict, high emotions, her father's drinking, the pressure of paying the bills with no money coming in from the family business and finally a confession and a fire again.

I wasn't happy with the cliffhanger ending but the story was great and I will be reading the next book in the series soon.

What a way to kick off a new series. This book had me hooked from the very beginning. Mason Hill is a special type of A**Ho**, but my heart has a very soft spot for him. After the tragic loss of his parents, Mason has worked hard to keep his siblings together and take care of them. Now, the successful owner of Phoenix Enterprises, Mason is rich and successful, but he is still full of hate and resentment and has a personal vendetta against the Van Kempt Family.

Once powerful and wealthy, the Van Kempts are on the brink of bankfuptcy Charlotte Van Kempt is young and somewhat naive, but she is smart, loyal, and courageous. She is the only one working hard on getting her family back from the dump they find themselves in and exactly the reason why Charlotte ends up making a deal with the one man who wants to destroy her family - Mason Hill.

Man - this book was angsty AF. A-N-G-S-T-Y!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! At times I wanted to throttle Mason and other times Charlotte, but when the two were together - jeez - I felt the fire burning out of the pages of the book. It was HOT. The tension and hate between them fueled that fire. The chemistry between Charlotte and Mason was intense. Their internal struggle with trying to understand their feelings for one another added another level of tension to their complicated and toxic relationship.

Despite it all, Mason and Charlotte have so much more in common than they realize. They are two very strong and loyal individuals who will stop at nothing to be there for their families, even if it means sacrificing their own dreams, goals and well being.

Than ending though - - What is Charlotte going to do now with the things she have learned? What is going to happen between Mason and Charlotte? I also cannot wait to see what happens when Remy, Gabriel, and Jameson find out what Mason is up to with Charlotte. I seriously need so much more - - - right now!!!

Wow, I have a little whiplash from Mason’s display of feelings toward Charlotte. One minute he appears to be softening towards her, and the next minute he is meaner than ever. Her innocence and naitivity is both a blessing and a curse. Mason was enacting his revenge towards Charlotte’s father, but carrying it out by using Charlotte has muddied the waters in his plan. This book ends with everything in a crazy tailspin and I can’t wait to see how they go forward from here.

It is a riveting story from beginning to end. I felt the emotions and feelings that the characters had as I read each page. The psychological game Mason plays is only to get revenge. Revenge for what? Naive Charlotte finds that she will do just about anything to save the family business that is on the brink of going out of business.
