Really enjoyable book. Not what I was expecting .I thought it will be a typical office romans so I was pleasantly surprised with all the danger stuff(don't want to write any spoilers) Main character definitely went for what he wanted and to be honest it was really sweet.Id like that he wasn't a manw!!re and didn't have many women.Main female character was a bit stubborn but I guess it was because of her past.Would like some more heat times but overall a really interesting book and lovely characters. Definitely worth reading. Most likely will read more from this author.

Nothing happens. The sex is boring, they’re boring, and even the baddie doesn’t do anything. (After a lot of talking about the evil things he’s going to do.) In fairness, I didn’t finish it, so maybe he does later?

Emillie is at her best friends wedding in London, when she meets Ezra. Emillie is super depressed as life is passing her by, and she’s not achieving anything. They have a one night stand that was amazing, (So amazing, that he forgot to leave his number. 🤔) the sex scenes are boring. They go back to America and six months later she starts work at his firm. He pursues her and she doesn’t want a relationship as she wants to concentrate on her art. Her art that for years she’s done nothing about??? 😂 All of a sudden she’s going to do something with it?

I’ve tried to read this book twice now. As the plot sounds really good. I just didn’t feel a connection to either of them. She comes across as self pitying, even though she’s not tried to do anything with her life. He comes across as immature! He’s supposed to be a billionaire businessman and he’s making up little rhymes for her and obsessing about what to do about her. Whether to contact her, whether to phone her or text her. It’s not realistic.

Not read from this author before. Characters were good and story had good potential but I am really not a fan of books written in the 3rd person. My personal choice but I don’t feel you can absorb the story or characters the same as when it’s written from their POV. Very rare I don’t finish a book, even if not loving it, but 20% in I had to quit.

Emilie meets Ezra at a wedding when her date didnt turn up. They have a night that both of them remembers only he had to leave her after taking an urgent call. Back in the USA Emilie gets a new job as a graphics designer only to find her one night stand is the boss. Ezra is so happy to see her he makes a decision to pursue her. Didnt quite get why he didnt ring his friend and get her number and the same with her. She gets an opportunity to show some of her work in an art gallery when a rival of Ezra's buy a piece of work. There is danger to come and Ezra needs to save Emilie. HIs alpha status didnt quite work, the little notes he left on her desk were a bit immature for the big boss.

Disappointing and boring read that I skipped most repeated parts. This story lines dragged on unnecessary for far too long. The worst part was every time each characters were thinking or planning to do something they constantly analysed what had happened which I found totally irrelevant. This is the worst book I’ve ever read.
