Love everything Lexy writes, but this series had me from page one. Nothing dull or boring in the series. About to purchase 4-6. Can't wait for them to finally admit their love for each other. Hoping Anna and Morgan will get together. His dad was awesome, sad he passed away, but his family in Greece will step in the gap. From what I read of book four, things are going to get even more interesting. Love it!!!!

I'm going to start with what I like about the books. I like the slow build to a relationship between these main characters. It's not meet, there's something irresistible about the person, and they fall in love in the next two pages. I also like the supporting characters. They are all down to earth and they give good advice to their friends and family. Rose's parents are like random evil villians but I guess she couldn't have a perfect life.

What annoys me about the book is the lack of world building, or should I say the unrealistic nature of the world building. First of all, it appears that they work in Manhattan. Second, they live in a mansion that is located where exactly? It pretty close to work but I have no idea where they live. Also the father is nearby the mansion but outside of the city, but where? Outside of what city? Outside of Manhattan, Brooklyn, the Bronx, Queens? It seems like Staten Island is too far away considering how they also drive everywhere. is it Connecticut? They drive everywhere in New York City, in their own cars. There is never any talk about where they park or what they pay for parking. Rose is trying to save money. She would not be willing to pay $40 to park every time she goes into the city. Her friend, who is a yoga instructor and a waitress, also has a car. This is so unrealistic it is driving me crazy. Next, Anthony's father is supposed to not like ostentatious and expensive watches, just well made time pieces. Anthony wants to create a exclusive line for really expensive watches. But the watches he creates right now cost $20,000. How is that not exclusive and expensive already? The father is totally on board with $20,000 watches? Again this is annoying.

It's like these books have been written by somebody with no idea of the value of a dollar, no idea about the makeup of New York City, no idea about the cost of living in the city, no idea about trying to travel in the city, and no idea about the fact that people don't have houses with park-sized yards in New York City. But hey, I can be wrong about the living in New York considering how the author never tells me that for sure.

These are just a few of the things that have annoyed me to the point that this is getting a two even though I am enjoying the actual development of the romance between these people.

3 books and still no proper ending. Could have been great. Story was good but no HEA. Very annoying and disappointing

Slow, Sweet, Romantic Love Story

I really love how these 3 books revolve around this slow moving love story which has complications for both Anthony and Rose. Anthony took over his father's business due to health, and made it into a very thriving business and Rose, trying to be totally independent from her mother's unrealistic and horrible treatment of her. I applaud them both for what they were achieving and I was very glad that it is not a rush through slam, bam thank you maam type of story. I am looking forward to seeing how their story ends.

I'm so grateful to have found this author and this series. Lexi brings the characters to life and at times you want to reach into the story and slap the stubbornness/ caution out of the main characters and just plain slap some of the others. I was a little disappointed that the ending wasn't really the end, but that won't let me give it anything less than a 5 star rating. Luckily I have found the next books in the series and now intend on reading them. What a roller coaster ride of emotions!!!

It's only half the story in 3 books

Worth future readers knowing the three books contain only half of the story, you need to buy the others for the complete story... wish I'd have known that before bothering!
Also, all three have many typos and mistakes that need sorting, they feel rushed and not checked before release. Some of the story doesn't hang together, she disconnects from her parents, saying she isn't contacting them again, then rings them to check in?!

It was good to see the close relationship of a son taking care of his father with Alzheimer's. He took the company his father started and made it more successful. He fell in love, too.
