There are some sex scenes and some swearing
The characterisation, as ever from the pen of Annika Martin, is outstanding. Truly believable unique personalities.
The plotline is engaging, with lots of laughs along the way and some tear jerking moments to balance the book.
This series is an automatic purchase for me,but being honest I don't think Ms Martin has written anything I don't want to read!
If you like romance you should enjoy this book

This whole series is brilliantly funny and not too heavy on the heartstrings.

I have given all books in this series well deserved 5 stars and, as much as I enjoyed Francine and Benny’s story, I just didn’t love it quite as much (hence the 4 star rating).
I get the reasons behind why Benny was acting the way he did towards Francine but I just couldn’t warm to him. To other readers he may be as lovable as the other main male characters but I just couldn’t get over how nasty he was being, even though you could see why his mind had made him be like it. He obviously turned back into a good egg and a lovable, madly in love with his girl kinda guy but I just didn’t gel with him.
Still a great book though. And the whole series is well worth a read.
And this book has, in my opinion, THE funniest line:
“I think Tabitha reprogrammed Malcolm with her magical pussy” 😂 and, in context, it’s even funnier! Proper girly chat banter!

This was book 6 and even though they are stand alone, I read the second book them the first, then in order.
What I really liked about reading it in order was, you get an introduction to the next person and also they appear again in small parts, in the later books, which is lovely.

I really get attached to the characters very quickly and enjoy their journeys, as they are written so affectionately.

It's so fun and enjoyable and there is a lot of funny fun moments.

I like escapism and this give me just that.

Read all six!

I love this series and this latest book did not disappoint. I really loved Francine and wanted her to get chocolate chip cookie dough ending and was so pleased that I also got to read Benny’s side too. I also enjoyed the interactions of the characters from the previous books and I can’t wait for the next one. Great books.

Really enjoyed this one - this whole series has been brilliant. Annika Martin writes such funny, lighthearted but also moving romantic comedy. I loved Francine - she's strong, no nonsense and knows her own mind. And as for Benny, well, such a sweetheart underneath the grump! I hope there are more stories to come from this group of friends - these characters are really well drawn.
