Well it was Gianni & Cara’s turn and wow their love story again was from when they were kids and like his twin Gianni just messed up with Cara and treated her like she was expendable.
I loved Cara standing her ground and I have to admit Gianni was never going to stop pursuing her and when they actually got together and she let her guard down they were amazing together and again loads of steamy sex scenes.
I did however want to slap Cara when she ran without bodyguards, I mean regardless of the situation Gianni had warned her multiple times never to be without a bodyguard and she had been attacked several times before this…. Stupid woman knew better.
However I am loving this series and all the couples so far have worked so let’s see how silly Massimo really is next.

This second book is better than the first in the series but is still a little dull. Gianni Morano is somewhat a ladies man he has always craved Cara but has been afraid of commitment. She has been away in Europe for some years but is now back and is involved with an enemy of the Morano family Gianni kept warning her about him but when she is drugged and thrown in a cell then put in an auction it is Gianni who rescues her and forces her into marriage. Things don't exactly run smoothly as the enemies are constantly trying to get to her when they take her again some have to die. The storyline is better in this book and the characters more interesting.

After reading Toxic ( Book1), I couldn’t wait to read Gianni’s story. It was everything I was hoping for and more. So good!

Gianni has always wanted Cara, but he’s never committed to a relationship with her. Every time she took him back, he messed it up.

Now she’s in danger. He will stop at nothing to save her.

Will she ever forgive him?
Can he convince her that he’s serious about a relationship?

The chemistry between this couple was smoking hot! Their love/ hate relationship had me glued to my kindle from start to finish. I just needed to know what happened next.

I wanted to like it. I loved the first book in the series and was all set to enjoy this one too. Unfortunately, I found neither Cara nor Dante likeable. And I don’t know why, but the propensity for Dante to ‘sniff’ became so prevalent (46 times. Seriously, I did a search because it was the go to action every time Dante didn’t like something) that I couldn’t stay in the story it started annoying me so much. As did the fact that he had to count silently in his head every time he had to control his actions, or whatever. All the freaking time. It wasn’t a cute foible. It was annoying because it happened so frequently. The plot line was good, which is why I gave it three stars, but the execution didn’t work for me, sadly.

Couldn't keep reading this book, all it kept going on and on about was their 'orbs'. Every couple of pages there it was again and again... Maybe using the word once would be fine but come on, eyes are eyes!
Far too much sex and descriptions of sex with next to no reason for it. The story was dull by way of all her other books. This is a big let down, so much so, I won't be bothering with the third book in this series, I just couldn't deal with constantly reading about 'orbs'!!!
